Tonight’s address-in-reply to the Budget by Bill Shorten was his opportunity to finally explain to the Australian people his plan to start paying down Labor’s record debt. It was also his opportunity to show that Labor had changed since the Rudd/Gillard years.
Instead, Mr Shorten completely failed this test.
He offered no solutions – and accepted no responsibility to help fix the mess left by Labor.
His speech was all politics, and no economics.
Bill Shorten and Chris Bowen left Australia with a projected record $667 billion debt, but aren’t prepared to work with the Australian Government to begin fixing Labor's mess.
Nine months after being rejected by the Australian people, Labor has not changed and Mr Shorten is showing no leadership.
Yours sincerely,
Brian Loughnane
Federal Director
Liberal Party of Australia

A big error young leaders make is thinking leadership is about the leader. It's not about you. It's about serving others

Our God is a God of increase!
Oftentimes, people set their focus on what God has done in the past — how He parted the Red Sea or stopped the sun for Joshua or fed thousands of people with just a little boy’s small lunch. Yes, God has performed many amazing miracles throughout history, and it’s important that we give Him praise and glory. But at the same time, we also have to look forward to what God wants to do in our lives today. In this verse, Paul says that “in the ages to come,” God would do things that far supersede anything He’s ever done before. I believe that the “ages to come” He’s talking about is this day and time we’re living in right now. God wants to outdo Himself in our generation.
The Scripture says,“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us...raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.”(Ephesians 2:4–7, NKJV)Remember that God is a God of increase. Where you are today is not where you are supposed to be. He has greater levels of His favor and blessing in store for you. Dare to dream big. Dare to keep a God-sized vision in front of you. Dare to take hold of every blessing the Lord has in store for you.Face the world with boldness, for you are created to win.You are blessed.

The Problem Of Sin!
Isaiah 59:2 (NKJV) says,"But your iniquities have separated you from your God;And your sins have hidden His face from you,So that He will not hear".
What can SIN do? Sin always divides. It divides man from God,causing us to fall short of the glory of God.Rom.3:23.It dives fathers from sons and mothers from daughters.Sin is the cause of every divorce.Sin is the cause of every war,the Scripture says,Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? James 4:1.
Sin divides church members.,The Scripture says, for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?1 Corinthians 3:3.Sin fills abortion clinics with the blood of innocent babies.Sin fills graveyards with young victims of drugs and alcohol.Sin fills mental clinics with people whose minds have snapped beneath the pressure of life.Yet we laugh at sin and call it "being cool" or being smart.God says, fools mock at sin,prov.14.9.Am asking you today to repent. You have had enough gospel and now is the time to change.Come as you are,He will make you a new man/woman.God bless you.

Father, I know that, with You, all things are possible! Nothing is too hard for You. I choose to stand in faith, I choose to trust, and I choose to walk in every blessing You have in store for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Nothing Is too Hard For Him!
I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”
(Jeremiah 32:27, NIV)
The Scripture says, “Is there anything too hard for the Lord?” There is no telling what God will do if you’ll dare to believe Him.The word is believe. Why don’t you stretch your faith today? Give God something to work with. Declare His Word, meditate on His promises, and put Him first because nothing is too hard for Him.You are blessed.

Heavenly Father, today I choose to trust in You. I release frustration over the dreams and desires in my heart, knowing that You know what’s best for me. I choose to trust in Your timing because You are faithful, and I will bless You in all things in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Father, right now, I declare by faith that I receive all that You have for me. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus to die for me so that I can live with You. I declare that He is my Lord and Savior, and I receive all that You have for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all — how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?”
(Romans 8:32, NIV)
God loves you so much today — more than you could ever imagine. Not only did He send His Son, Jesus to pay the price for your sins so that He could have relationship with you, He also wants to lavish you with everything He has and everything He is.
Maybe at times you’ve struggled to receive all that He has for you. Maybe you think that you don’t want to bother God, or you somehow think you don’t deserve what He has for you. Friend, those mindsets are not the truth. The truth is that you can’t earn a gift. He gives it freely. Imagine His arms outstretched to you right now. Receive His love, receive His grace, and receive all that He has in store for you,Amen.
