NSW Liberal Leader
NSW Liberal Leader Peter Debnam today called on the Iemma Labor Government to offer a $20,000 reward for information that leads to the conviction of those persons still at large who participated in the violence on the 11th, 12th, and 13th of December last year.
“Morris Iemma was never going to lock up the Middle Eastern thugs involved in the revenge attacks because of the Labor Government’s softly-softly approach to serious violent crime,” Mr Debnam said.
“The Government should immediately release all surveillance videos associated with the revenge attacks and should advise the public of what action has been taken with the list of number plates compiled by police during the revenge attacks,” he said.
“There should be a $100,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the person or persons who sprayed St Joseph’s school with gunfire on the 12th of December around the time of the Christmas concert.
“A similar reward should also be offered for information leading to the conviction of the person or persons who burnt down the Uniting Church hall in Auburn in the early hours of the 14th of December.
“If Morris Iemma won’t post these rewards, then I will straight after the election.
“The shutting down of Strikeforce Enoggera signals to those thugs still living in the community that they have gotten away with these violent attacks.
“The longer these middle eastern thugs and gangs are allowed to do as they please, the more they will be emboldened to commit further violent acts.
