Revelations more than half the money allocated to an advertising campaign to attract business to NSW will in fact be run in NSW proves the ads are simply political propaganda, Shadow Minister for Finance Peta Seaton said today.
"With more than half the advertisements being run in NSW, it proves the advertising is little more than a taxpayer-funded re-elect Morris Iemma campaign," Ms Seaton said.
"Taxpayers will be slugged again for Morris Iemma to engage in yet more self-serving political propaganda, most of which doesn't even reach its target audience - businesses interstate," she said.

“The Iemma Labor Government has confirmed today ‘more than half’ of the advertising will take place within NSW.
“This advertising campaign is all about the Iemma Labor Government promoting itself in its home state – not about attracting jobs and investment back to NSW.
“If the Iemma Labor Government was serious about wooing business opportunities and companies back to NSW, the majority of funds would be spent on advertising in other states.
"NSW desperately needs to get jobs and investment back following ABS statistics last week showing zero growth in NSW.
“The Iemma Labor Government has now wasted close to $10 million on self-serving advertising in just one week.
“Instead of wasting money on blatantly political advertising, Morris Iemma could have put that $10 million towards reducing taxes on businesses in NSW.
“NSW is the highest taxed state in the nation, a fact not lost on businesses who have closed their doors locally and moved interstate," Ms Seaton said.
