Chief Scientist of Shell Oil Charlie Williams Discusses the Companies Terrific Environmental Record
Shell Oil has not suffered a major environmental incident for over 30 years on the outer continental shelf.
Charlie Williams, one of 8 chief scientists at Shell Oil, discussed the tremendous gains made over the last 30 years in oil and gas production. Charlie was the chief scientist who helped Shell recover production in the Gulf of Mexico after Hurricane Katrina. Charlie explains that even though a platform was knocked over there were no spills in the Gulf after the powerful hurricane.
Shell Oil has not seen a major environmental incident for over 30 years now.
