US Campaign for Burma request

Give the Gift of Freedom

We have good news to share: a U.S. Campaign for Burma supporter has generously offered to match the donations we receive each month through the end of the year up to $15,000! To turn this into $30,000 - we need your help.

To help us receive the matching funds, we need you to sign up today to become an U.S. Campaign for Burma 'sustainer' (contributing a small recurring monthly donation), to enable us to double each donation through the end of the year (or double a one-time donation).

Recurring monthly donations provide a steady stream of income - something that is invaluable for a small non-profit like USCB. This gives us the ability to plan our campaigns, advocacy efforts, and outreach more strategically and know what resources we can rely on through the end of the year.

Through the end of the year if you:
Give $10 a month, it will be worth $200
Give $20 a month, it will be worth $400
Give $25 a month, it will be worth $500

This year will be pivotal for Burma. The release of Aung San Suu Kyi has created a window of opportunity to make sure that her release delivers tangible results for the people of Burma. Meanwhile, we cannot forget that Burma's dictatorship continues to burn villages, rape women, and destroy childhoods on a daily basis. We are working to make the crimes of Burma's dictators a priority for President Obama and the United Nations. With your support, we can do more.

Our grassroots members are USCB's biggest supporters. Becoming a USCB sustainer (recurring donor) will keep the pressure on Burma's dictators and provide key resources for us to plan our campaigns, advocacy efforts, and outreach over the coming year. Best of all, your monthly donation will be doubled by our generous supporter.

Recent events in the Middle East remind us that people everywhere have the power to overthrow oppression and gain freedom - even against tremendous odds. Help us support Burma's unfinished revolution by becoming a USCB sustainer (recurring donor) today.

With Appreciation,

Aung Din, Jennifer, Myra, Nadi, and Patrick
