US Campaign for Burma Nowhere to be home

There are two opportunities at Haverford College to participate in the book launch and discussion of Voice of Witness' Nowhere To Be Home: Narratives from Survivors of Burma's Military Regime.

Nowhere To Be Home is an eye-opening collection of oral histories exposing the realities of life under military rule. In their own words, men and women from Burma describe their lives in the country that Human Rights Watch has called "the textbook example of a police state."

Meet editors Maggie Lemere and Zoe West for a reading and talk for an in-depth understanding about ordinary Burmese's daily life under Burma's military regime.

Event Details:
Date: Tuesday & Wednesday, March 22 & 23, 2011
Time: 4:30pm
Place: Haverford College, Chase Auditorium. 370 Lancaster Avenue, Haverford, PA 19041

For more information, please contact Juliana Sloane at juliana.sloane@voiceofwitness.com.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Best regards,

Myra
