US Campaign for Burma request

Inspire Through t

Remidner: Deadline fast approaching for Free Burma Design Contest. Submit your designs by Monday, February 21.

Then we will post the designs on our Facebook page and have our grassroots members vote on their favorite designs. The four designs that receive the highest number of "Likes" will be reproduced on t-shirts, stickers, and other campaign materials. Winning artists will receive a $100 prize and a free t-shirt with their design. They will also be recognized on our website.

Your artwork shows your solidarity with artists inside Burma who are struggling for freedom and democracy. Despite the military's iron grip, young Burmese artists are using artistic expression to appeal to the youth to take part in Burma's transformation. In place of guns and tanks, these artists are using mics, chalk, and paintbrushes to show creative defiance against the military regime for killing innocent people and violating rights.

Show your solidarity with the courageous Burmese artists and help inspire activism through your art by submitting your designs today.

In solidarity,

Nadi Hlaing
