TVS - A Different View
TVS was the first permanent free-to-air television channel to launch in Sydney in more than twenty-five years.
Our programs aim to be engaging and encouraging; often exploring issues that other channels rarely cover. We are thoughtful and not afraid to be just a bit provocative!
Most of our programs are made locally, by and for Sydneysiders, with innovative program styles where creative producers explore new formats and showcase emerging talent. Genuine not-for-profit community based program makers receive free program airtime.
With the aid of our powerful analogue transmitter at Gore Hill our coverage stretches the length and breadth of Sydney, with reports of clear reception from locations as far south as Wollongong, in the lower Blue Mountains and on the Central Coast.

ANGLE is unique in Sydney - a show exclusively made by students of the UWS School of Communication Arts. Students present the show and fill ALL technical roles.
ANGLE is YOUR show on TVS, striving to foster a sense of community in Western Sydney.
From soccer programs for refugee children to the birthing problems of young mothers, ANGLE sheds light on what is important to people.
ANGLE interviews Jack Thompson on the arts in Western Sydney, UWS Professor Ien Ang on multicultural society, Betty Green of Domestic violence, and many more...
