Editorial Victorian Lockdown a shakedown of Victorians by ALP
The lockdown is not helpful in Victoria, just as it wasn't in the recent past. Exposure of a COVID virus at some 150 sites shows the virus is prevalent in the community. But, we aren't having mass deaths. The exposures are mainly asymptomatic. So long as sick people are appropriately treated, then herd immunity will kick in. Lockdowns and masks have not prevented deaths. They have not prevented spread of COVID. The ALP administration ran a quarantine which spread the virus and killed elderly whom the ALP refused appropriate treatment. And the ALP has done it again in aged care

Meanwhile, press are savaging conservative politicians for ALP failure. Federal Minister Dan Tehan goes on a talk show and suggests those suffering under the new Victorian lockdown can approach Centrelink and is howled down by press who demand more money for Victorian victims of ALP lockdown. It is an Australian version of the Dan Bongino observation of press calls 'Conservatives pounce.' They say Conservatives heartlessly point to welfare for problems caused by the ALP. This deflects criticism from the ALP.

Editorial Did Woke Tolerance result in domestic murder?
A man has been sentenced to thirty years jail in Victoria, Australia for domestic homicide he forced his children to watch. His children had been so badly neglected they weren't educated well enough to speak of their trauma. The man is an Islamic State supporter and in 2016 he murdered his wife in ffront of his children, showing them his removing an eye and flushing it down a toilet before dumping the body to be found in a leisure area. The killing followed a code set out in the mythology of those who follow Islamic State, or those who read western media promoting the ideal. But there had been warning signs leading up to the killing too. A Victorian court heard evidence of how the husband and killer had prevented family from contacting the victim and the abuse which rendered the children permanently incapacitated. Now the court will not name the killer so as to 'protect' the family? Why not simply jail Cardinal George Pell again? Or maybe cancel the Dr Blake Mysteries again?

Domestic violence in Australia is rife in the Islamic community, but not contained to the Islamic community and it is not everywhere in the Islamic community. It is reprehensible that Islamic peoples do not more vociferously condemn those who claim to act on Islam and bring Islam into disrepute.

In Sydney another court fail resulted in a lost family as a father had court support in tracking down and killing his estranged children. The mother had filed an AVO against the dad, but the police had negligently discounted the application by linking it to an ambit claim in a court case. By following his daughter home from school, and killing her, the dad proved those police wrong. The mother has since suicided. How can that family be protected by a woke court now? Maybe the police will investigate more closely the conservative government? That seems to be the go to call.

Here is a video I made Spring Song

The Songs of a Sentimental Bloke is a verse novel by Australian novelist and poet C. J. Dennis. The book sold over 60,000 copies in nine editions within the first year, and is probably one of the highest selling verse novels ever published in Australia..
THE world 'as got me snouted jist a treat; Crool Forchin's dirty left 'as smote me soul; An' all them joys o' life I 'eld so sweet Is up the pole. Fer, as the poit sez, me 'eart 'as got The pip wiv yearnin' fer—I dunno wot. I'm crook; me name is Mud; I've done me dash; Me flamin' spirit's got the flamin' 'ump! I'm longin' to let loose on somethin' rash. . . . Aw, I'm a chump! I know it; but this blimed ole Springtime craze Fair outs me, on these dilly, silly days. The young green leaves is shootin' on the trees, The air is like a long, cool swig o' beer, The bonzer smell o' flow'rs is on the breeze, An' 'ere's me, 'ere, Jist moochin' round like some pore, barmy coot, Of 'ope, an' joy, an' forchin destichoot. I've lorst me former joy in gettin' shick, Or 'eadin' browns; I 'aven't got the 'eart To word a tom; an', square an' all, I'm sick Of that cheap tart 'Oo chucks 'er carkis at a feller's 'ead An' mauls 'im . . . Ar! I wish't that I wus dead! . . . Ther's little breezes stirrin' in the leaves, An' sparrers chirpin' 'igh the 'ole day long; An' on the air a sad, sweet music breaves A bonzer song— A mournful sorter choon thet gits a bloke Fair in the brisket 'ere, an' makes 'im choke . . . What is the matter wiv me? . . . I dunno. I got a sorter yearnin' 'ere inside, A dead-crook sorter thing that won't let go Or be denied— A feelin' like I want to do a break, An' stoush creation for some woman's sake. The little birds is chirpin' in the nest, The parks an' gardings is a bosker sight, Where smilin' tarts walks up an' down, all dressed In clobber white. An', as their snowy forms goes steppin' by, It seems I'm seekin' somethin' on the sly. Somethin' or someone—I don't rightly know; But, seems to me, I'm kind er lookin' for A tart I knoo a 'undred years ago, Or, maybe, more. Wot's this I've 'eard them call that thing? . . . Geewhizz! Me ideel bit o' skirt! That's wot it is! Me ideel tart! . . . An', bli'me, look at me! Jist take a squiz at this, an' tell me can Some square an' honist tom take this to be 'Er own true man? Tough luck! I s'pose it's 'ow a man is built. It's 'ow Gawd builds a bloke; but don't it 'urt When 'e gits yearnin's fer this 'igher life, On these Spring mornin's, watchin' some sweet skirt— Some fucher wife— Go sailin' by, an' turnin' on his phiz The glarssy eye—fer bein' wot 'e is. I've watched 'em walkin' in the gardings 'ere— Cliners from orfices an' shops an' such; The sorter skirts I dursn't come too near, Or dare to touch. An, when I see the kind er looks they carst . . . Gorstrooth! Wot is the use o' me, I arst? Wot wus I slung 'ere for? An' wot's the good Of yearnin' after any ideel tart? . . . Ar, if a bloke wus only understood! 'E's got a 'eart: 'E's got a soul inside 'im, poor or rich. But wot's the use, when 'Eaven's crool'd 'is pitch? I tells meself some day I'll take a pull An' look eround fer some good, stiddy job, An' cut the push fer good an' all; I'm full Of that crook mob! Don't give up on hope. Nothing is new under the sun, and while some questions are asked about Russian forces shooting down MH17 after Ukraine painted it, maybe we can answer older questions too. On June 1st 1943, over the Bay of Biscay between Portugal and UK, Eight German Junker JU88 fighter planes shot down the civilian aircraft BOAC Flight 777. On board was actor Leslie Howard and several other significant personalities. The question is, why? Why shoot down a civilian craft? Lisbon Portela airport was the origin of the flight and German craft used it too. Both sides had spies watching flights coming and going. What intelligence marked this particular flight? ULTRA had already broken Enigma, but Allied authorities were loathe to expose their intelligence knowledge.

In the years that followed it has been claimed that BOAC Flight 777 was mistaken for carriage of Winston Churchill. It sounds far fetched. Churchill had nearly been shot down flying from Casablanca in January in that year. Allies had defeated Rommel and Churchill would be keen to take Aegean targets, but Roosevelt nixed the program in favour of a Normandy invasion. Churchill went to Canada and US then went to Malta in Autumn of 1943. But BOAC Flight 777 was three months before autumn. Project Fortitude, which planned to mislead Germany about D-Day only began in December 1943.

Actor Raymond Burr would claim his recently wed actress wife had died on board BOAC Flight 777, but Burr was notable for exaggerated stories and nobody with a similar name was on that flight. No notable actress of the name Annette Sutherland was from that time. Leslie had been involved with talks the Nazi command would not have liked, but Hitler was star struck and was not generally known to target actors outside of his sphere of influence.

The flight also had Journalist Kenneth Stonehouse from Reuters, Tyrrell Shervington from BP and Wilfred Israel. Wilfred was a man of substance who had lost his family business to the Nazis but fought for humanitarian outcomes. Wilfred had saved many thousands of Jews directly from Hitler's holocaust from 1936 onwards.

Just as Ukraine painted civilian MH17 to trick Russia into shooting it, BOAC Flight 777 was shot down not because she was a military asset, but because she could be a warning. With Wilfred aboard, she could be a warning to any who might save Jews from the Holocaust.

Some things should not happen, but they do. Spending over $US100 trillion to curb temperatures outside by 0.03 degrees centigrade in a century's time seems wrong. We don't have the right tools to deal with the issue which may not even need to be addressed. Give me half and I could do better. Even more absurd when one thinks that without spending a cent, one could instead feed the starving, shelter the homeless, and do everything we used to do before addressing AGW. AGW is not a threat to humanity. Wealth redistribution is. In Victoria, Dan Andrews is shutting down base-load power stations and expanding more expensive sun and wind power. And raising taxes to do it. And the only sane leader in the G7, the only capable person who recognises the sham for what it is, is Donald Trump, who is leading the US away from the Paris accords.

In 455, Sack of RomeVandals entered Rome, and plundered the city for two weeks. It was a gentle sack. The previous emperor, Valentinian had promised his daughter in marriage to the Vandal King Genseric's son. However when Valentinian died, his replacement married his widow and married his son to their daughter. Generic decided this ended a peace treaty and so he took his troops to Rome. The then Pope negotiated opening the walls if Generic did not slaughter the population or ancient churches. A large number of ships are recorded as having shipped with slaves on board, but Genseric's word seemed good. 1010, the Battle of Aqbat al-Bakr took place in the context of the Fitna of al-Andalus resulting in a defeat for the Caliphate of Cordoba. Christians and Muslims united in this victory in Spain.

1692, Bridget Bishop was the first person to go to trial in the Salem witch trials in Salem, Massachusetts. Many today believe Bridget innocent. Found guilty, she was hanged on June 10. It is possible she was the victim of ergot poisoning. 1763, Pontiac's Rebellion: At what is now Mackinaw City, MichiganChippewas captured Fort Michilimackinac by diverting the garrison's attention with a game of lacrosse, then chasing a ball into the fort. The actual rebellion was deadly, and not funny, and forced a change in policy of the British. 1774, Intolerable Acts: The Quartering Act was enacted, allowing a governor in colonial America to house British soldiers in uninhabited houses, outhouses, barns, or other buildings if suitable quarters were not provided. It was a response to the Boston Tea Party. 1793, French RevolutionFrançois Hanriot, leader of the Parisian National Guard, arrested 22 Girondists selected by Jean-Paul Marat, setting the stage for the Reign of Terror. Prior to 1793, Girondists were viewed as left wing, after, they were viewed as right wing. But their policy positions had not changed. Marat had pulled France extreme left, and his murder came too late.

1855, the Portland Rum Riot occurred in Portland, Maine.  In 1851, Portland Mayor Dow had brought in prohibition of alcohol with caveats for medicinal or mechanical use. In 1855, Dow had stocked an area for the medicinal requirements of the populace, but jealous residents, including Irish who felt unfairly targeted by the regulation, rioted. The regulation was repealed in 1856. 1866, Fenian raids: The Fenians were victorious over Canadian forces in both the Battle of Ridgeway and the Battle of Fort Erie. Fenians were Irish separatists who weren't fighting in Ireland.

Today an immunotherapy research document was published suggesting a cure for cancer. Three patients have had cures, whereby their immune system was introduced to a cancer vaccine developed in a lab based on their cancer. The method seems cheap and effective. More research needs to be done to ensure the method is safe. But it offers hope. Meanwhile, the current Australian Election does not. And the NSW Government has appointed another left wing extremist to the position of Education chief. The former head of the ABC was responsible for pulling the station further to the left during his tenure. He showed no leadership over the area of balance of political commentary. He championed the theft of $trillions from the world's poorest over AGW. He championed the drowning of thousands of so called refugees. Maybe the NSW government is being balanced, but it is doubtful it is being competent with the choice of Education Chief.

For some, at the moment, the Sex Party has more credibility.

Pell has addressed all the pedophilia issues twice before. The upcoming testimony seems to be addressing persecution, not prosecution. Yet the rabid media say he has been hiding. That is not balanced reporting but partisan, and is similar to that which claimed former Governor General Hollingworth who had done nothing wrong. To be fair, Cardinal Pell had been more proactive on the issue of pedophilia creating a department to address the issue of victims when he first rose to be Cardinal in Victoria. He is not accused of having personally been involved.

The leaking of cabinet discussions is a serious issue which threatens to undermine Mr Abbott. But while the leaking will weaken the party, Mr Abbott is now set in stone for the next election. On the other hand, Mr Shorten is looking terminal. The ALP are even considering the incompetent Morris Iemma, who failed as Premier of NSW. But the problem for each party is not leadership but policy. Mr Abbott can bring in gay marriage despite being personally against it, and make it acceptable to churches who would rather hide between the state's legs than take ownership. There are also substantive issues of state protection and security, the economy, education and health in which the conservatives are traditionally better managers of than the ALP.

Today's Old Testament reading: 2 Chronicles 15-16

Asa's Reform
The Spirit of God came on Azariah son of Oded. 2 He went out to meet Asa and said to him, "Listen to me, Asa and all Judah and Benjamin. The LORD is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you. 3 For a long time Israel was without the true God, without a priest to teach and without the law. 4But in their distress they turned to the LORD, the God of Israel, and sought him, and he was found by them. 5 In those days it was not safe to travel about, for all the inhabitants of the lands were in great turmoil. 6 One nation was being crushed by another and one city by another, because God was troubling them with every kind of distress. 7 But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded...."

Today's New Testament reading: John 12:27-50

27 "Now my soul is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save me from this hour'? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour. 28 Father, glorify your name!"
Then a voice came from heaven, "I have glorified it, and will glorify it again." 29 The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to him....

Morning

"The evening and the morning were the first day."
Genesis 1:5
Was it so even in the beginning? Did light and darkness divide the realm of time in the first day? Then little wonder is it if I have also changes in my circumstances from the sunshine of prosperity to the midnight of adversity. It will not always be the blaze of noon even in my soul concerns, I must expect at seasons to mourn the absence of my former joys, and seek my Beloved in the night. Nor am I alone in this, for all the Lord's beloved ones have had to sing the mingled song of judgment and of mercy, of trial and deliverance, of mourning and of delight. It is one of the arrangements of Divine providence that day and night shall not cease either in the spiritual or natural creation till we reach the land of which it is written, "there is no night there." What our heavenly Father ordains is wise and good.
What, then, my soul, is it best for thee to do? Learn first to be content with this divine order, and be willing, with Job, to receive evil from the hand of the Lord as well as good. Study next, to make the outgoings of the morning and the evening to rejoice. Praise the Lord for the sun of joy when it rises, and for the gloom of evening as it falls. There is beauty both in sunrise and sunset; sing of it, and glorify the Lord. Like the nightingale, pour forth thy notes at all hours. Believe that the night is as useful as the day. The dews of grace fall heavily in the night of sorrow. The stars of promise shine forth gloriously amid the darkness of grief. Continue thy service under all changes. If in the day thy watchword be labour, at night exchange it for watch. Every hour has its duty, do thou continue in thy calling as the Lord's servant until he shall suddenly appear in his glory. My soul, thine evening of old age and death is drawing near; dread it not, for it is part of the day; and the Lord has said, "I will cover him all the day long."

Evening

"He will make her wilderness like Eden."
Isaiah 51:3

Methinks, I see in vision a howling wilderness, a great and terrible desert, like to the Sahara. I perceive nothing in it to relieve the eye, all around I am wearied with a vision of hot and arid sand, strewn with ten thousand bleaching skeletons of wretched men who have expired in anguish, having lost their way in the pitiless waste. What an appalling sight! How horrible! a sea of sand without a bound, and without an oasis, a cheerless graveyard for a race forlorn! But behold and wonder! Upon a sudden, upspringing from the scorching sand I see a plant of renown; and as it grows it buds, the bud expands--it is a rose, and at its side a lily bows its modest head; and, miracle of miracles! as the fragrance of those flowers is diffused the wilderness is transformed into a fruitful field, and all around it blossoms exceedingly, the glory of Lebanon is given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon. Call it not Sahara, call it Paradise. Speak not of it any longer as the valley of deathshade, for where the skeletons lay bleaching in the sun, behold a resurrection is proclaimed, and up spring the dead, a mighty army, full of life immortal. Jesus is that plant of renown, and his presence makes all things new. Nor is the wonder less in each individual's salvation. Yonder I behold you, dear reader, cast out, an infant, unswathed, unwashed, defiled with your own blood, left to be food for beasts of prey. But lo, a jewel has been thrown into your bosom by a divine hand, and for its sake you have been pitied and tended by divine providence, you are washed and cleansed from your defilement, you are adopted into heaven's family, the fair seal of love is upon your forehead, and the ring of faithfulness is on your hand--you are now a prince unto God, though once an orphan, cast away. O prize exceedingly the matchless power and grace which changes deserts into gardens, and makes the barren heart to sing for joy.

I am a decent man and don't care for the abuse given me. I created a video raising awareness of anti police feeling among western communities. I chose the senseless killing of Nicola Cotton, a Louisiana policewoman who joined post Katrina, to highlight the issue. I did this in order to get an income after having been illegally blacklisted from work in NSW for being a whistleblower. I have not done anything wrong. Local council appointees refused to endorse my work, so I did it for free. Youtube's Adsence refused to allow me to profit from their marketing it. Meanwhile, I am hostage to abysmal political leadership and hopeless journalists. My shopfront has opened on Facebook.

I am publishing a book called Bread of Life: January.

Bread of Life is a daily bible quote with a layman's understanding of the meaning. I give one quote for each day, and also a series of personal stories illustrating key concepts eg Who is God? What is a miracle? Why is there tragedy?

January is the first of the anticipated year-long work of thirteen books. One for each month and the whole year. It costs to publish. It (Kindle version) should retail at about $2US online, but the paperback version would cost more, according to production cost.If you have a heart for giving, I fundraise at gofund.me/27tkwuc (Gofundme finished the fund raiser, 2017)
