The press are mistaken. The race issues Obama has delved in are hurting him. The number of hits he is getting from the press now are nothing to what he will get if he becomes President, and the Islamic world remember that in their eyes he is apostate.

A Different Take on Mr Wright?
To oppose the now retired Jeremiah Wright view on the world, and ridicule it, one need only quote what he says. His views are well known and he has not changed them in his career as a magnet for bigots and racists.
To support the former pastor, one need only point to the color of his skin, not the content of his character. One might say that they hate the current US President, and declare everything he does as being wrong. Even Cherie Blair knows that is wrong.
One can attack Martin Luther King, decry the racism of America under the Democrats of the past and blame white people. Or one can admit that Mr Wright has backed the wrong pony in trying to address past wrongs.

US Senator Barack Obama has achieved what few before him have, with his speech on race becoming a hotter topic on the internet than sex.
The speech by the presidential candidate is now the most popular video on YouTube, it's received more comments than any other story ever on the USA Today website and is currently the most popular topic on the world’s biggest technology website digg.com.
It has drawn praise from both US and global media.
The UK's Daily Telegraph called Senator Obama's speech "a spellbinding display of rhetorical brilliance" and said he is “taking on the mantle of Martin Luther King".
Senator Obama delivered the 40-minute speech in Philadelphia in response to inflammatory comments by his pastor Reverend Jeremiah Wright.
The senator touched on his personal experiences but also spoke about a racial stalemate in the US which would not end unless the grievances of blacks were addresed.
"The anger is real; it is powerful; and to simply wish it away, to condemn it without understanding its roots, only serves to widen the chasm of misunderstanding that exists between the races," Senator Obama said.
Lars Korwald writing on The Daily Kos claimed Senator Obama was the first US president or presidential candidate since 1969 to write a major speech without the help of a speech writer.
"It is possible that we will have a President who not only will speak in full, complete sentences, but who will do so in a manner that is eloquent," Thorwald wrote.
But not everyone has been full of praise with the conservative website The Weekly Standard calling him Obama the Ditherer for not immediately condemning Reverend Wright.
"He made no attempt to explain his relationship with Wright and why he hung around a man who habitually offered such hateful rhetoric. Obama instead offered a non-sequitur on race relations," Dean Barnett wrote on the website.

Democrat Barack Obama’s big national lead over Hillary Clinton has all but evaporated in the U.S. presidential race, and both Democrats trail Republican John McCain, according a Reuters/Zogby poll released on Wednesday.
The poll showed Obama had only a statistically insignificant lead of 47 percent to 44 percent over Clinton, down sharply from a 14 point edge he held over her in February when he was riding the tide of 10 straight victories.
Illinois Sen. Obama, who would be America’s first black president, has been buffeted by attacks in recent weeks from New York Sen. Clinton over his fitness to serve as commander-in-chief and by a tempest over racially charged sermons given by his Chicago preacher.
