20th Nov Review 0f Historical and Current Affairs

My name is David Daniel Ball and I am Voice DDB dot locals dot com a voice of freedom supporting freedom around the world for all peoples. I write on historical and current affairs. I look for the conservative voice where mainstream media eschews it. Around the world media espouses liberalism orthodoxy and proclaims a history of liberalism that never happened. Liberalism of today is based on repeated lies that have been accepted from the past.

Consider these recent truths

There is hope. Today we have the gloomy subject matter of the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, nearing an end, and, the ongoing Presidency of Joe Biden, and, the ongoing corruption of the FBI. And yet there is hope.

This week saw the defense mistake of placing Rittenhouse on the stand and giving a corrupt Prosecution carte blanche to lie. A desperate, exposed judge fought valiantly to preserve justice while Rittenhouse was betrayed by those charged to defend him, and denounced by those charged with upholding justice denied Rittenhouse. Along the way, we heard the Presidential candidate Joe Biden call Rittenhouse a white supremacist. We discovered the riot which forced Rittenhouse to act in self defence was a machination of the FBI to facilitate a coup which was part of the 2020 election fraud. What did Biden achieve by calling Rittenhouse a white supremacist? What did the FBI achieve by facilitating a murderous riot?

The press have not told you. They largely, have not reported on aspects of the Rittenhouse trial shown publicly. Rittenhouse acted in self defence. Three times he needed to apply deadly force that night, before he managed to secure safety from a local police armed response group acting as neutral observers. A longstanding Democrat, the local mayor has been among those persecuting Rittenhouse who prevented rioters from setting fire to a gas station and blowing up a neighbourhood. We saw Rittenhouse attacked thanks in part to FBI surveillance which seemed to be keeping tabs on their operatives running amok. Rittenhouse was kicked in the face and he did not kill the unidentified assailant. Rittenhouse was assaulted and a now dead man tried to take Rittenhouse’ gun. The chief persecutor asked why Rittenhouse brought a gun, saying it was merely to kill rioters. One guesses that that is what the persecutor would have done. Rittenhouse used it to defend his life from those who charged and assailed him. One assailant, who survived because Rittenhouse is not some mere killer, charged Rittenhouse and raised his gun to him before Rittenhouse shot him, disabling him from killing Rittenhouse. That surviving assailant has demanded ten million dollars for his testimony. Following his testimony, mainstream media lauded him and wrote of his resilience and interviewed him as a victim and survivor.

Those who know Rittenhouse is innocent of murder through self defence can see that that is the fact, in the trial. But, what of those who believe Rittenhouse is a white supremacist who brought a gun to a ‘peaceful’ riot? The chief persecutor is sticking to script. By ignoring law and focusing what divides Americans, the persecutor is merely doing the job given him by the likes of Joe Biden . Biden did not call Rittenhouse a white supremacist because Rittenhouse is racist. Rittenhouse is not racist. Biden is racist, but that is not the reason for the policy statement. A narrative is being painted to convince actual racists that Rittenhouse should be persecuted. And, we saw on the stand a lone, undefended boy, having a panic attack as bothe his defence and the persecutor publicly assailed and denied him succour. Rittenhouse is innocent, but he may still be convicted by jury. He is still fighting for his life.

Some are saying Joe Biden is the worst President ever. It is not a competition. Biden is mounting a strong argument for the accolade, and he is not yet done. But, an unseemly parade of awful precedes him. What of the claims of Johnson who ended reconstruction and established resistance to freedom through the KKK? What of person who facilitated modern poverty and inequity through their new deal, exploiting Americans by race and gifting them single, unemployed parents? What of the guy who nuked a civilian population twice? What of the guy who restarted a cold war to solve the policy vacuum created by their poor foreign policy?

Some are saying the FBI must be disbanded because they facilitated a violent coup. But then, what was Watergate? Why was Weather Underground protected by the FBI? What is the FBI’s role in the drug distribution networks and the faux arms management crises that sees cities like Boston and Detroit vie for the epithet ‘murder capitals.’?

Biden looks awful because Trump is so good. But also Carter and Reagan played similar roles. I liken the problem with fighting the Devil. Don’t do it. In fighting the Devil, one may well dance to the Devil’s tune. Instead, hold to the Lord. The Lord has already defeated the Devil, and the only future the Devil has is in a black pit of despair, eternally separated from God. But, that is not your future if you hold to the Lord.

We have hope. It is incumbent on us to win back the freedom denied us. And to protect that freedom. We will do that democratically. We will take back our legislature. We will get our courts to return to protecting our constitution.

I have lost everything several times. And yet here I am. Behind me is an Australian flag and a MAGA cap. On my MAGA cap is an American flag. I will die, one day. But, I pledge allegiance to the flag (of Australia and) the United States of America. And to the republics for which they stand. One nation. Indivisible. Under God. With liberty, and justice, for all.

We are being lied to. But not by everyone. Our nations and their justice machinery are not broken, but damaged. Things are bad, but they are supposed to be bad, rather than merely breaking. We can't give up. We must reject the liars, and remove them from public office, and prosecute them lawfully. Things can get better, but we must persevere or risk losing hope. We must not fight the Devil by playing the Devil's game. Rather we must resist the Devil by being free. There is no law against doing what is right. Their utter depravity kills us. They target us and they seek to restrain us. But while the greatest among us a hundred years ago has died, their legacy has not. That which we are, we are. Lockdowns were ineffective in dealing with COVID. Effective medication has been denied whole populations. Herd immunity will prevail. Fraud deleteriously affected recent elections around the world. But, Democracy will prevail. Our oppressors will pass. For us to win, we must assert our freedoms. For us to lose, we must willingly surrender our freedoms forever. Our children will have to pay back our debt. We must sacrifice now so that they can. That means telling truth to power. That means pointing up when when some get confused and lose their way. Stand by the one who sacrificed their pension and freedoms to speak out. Prosecute the ones forgiven by a debauched and self interested administration. Vote for those who help you exercise your freedom. Don't wait for free speech. Exercise free speech.

Intro to Locals.com

My name is David Daniel Ball I'm a teacher with three decades experience teaching math to high school kids.I also work with first graders and kids in between first grade and high school. I know the legends of why Hypatia's dad is remembered through his contribution to Math theory. And I know the legend of why followers of Godel had thought he had disproved God's existence.

I'm not a preacher, but I am a Christian who has written over 28 books all of which include some reference to my faith. Twelve blog books on world history and current affairs, detailing world events , births and marriages on each day of the year, organised by month. Twelve books on the background to and history of Bible Quotes. One Bible quote per day for a year. An intro to a science fiction series I'm planning, post apocalyptic cyber punk. An autobiography with short story collections.

I'm known in Australia for my failure as a whistleblower over the negligence death of a school boy. I had reported the issue responsibly and had not known I'd blown the whistle. The embarrassed left wing government had responded by imposition of a nationwide ban on the use of peanut butter in canteens, despite failing to address the issue of peanut allergy appropriately.

I've been de-platformed on Facebook and twitter despite not being an activist. Twitter did not like me asking for Obama to face justice in 2011. FB gave no specific reason for removing me following Jan 6th 2021 in Washington DC where a policeman killed an unarmed woman, so a crowd would know he was in control.

=== From 2020 ===

I watch Dan Bongino on Rumble and heard him on his Rumble cast say Trump should have addressed disloyal swamp creatures sooner. I disagree with it, and might have egg all over my face soon for saying so, but following is my reasoning. Trump has temporised on facing some of the swamp, not hesitated. Late last year, Trump said he was pulling troops out of Syria and was criticised for it severely. But then an ISIS leader stood up and special forces ran him to committing suicide rather than be taken. The operation, a sting masterminded by Trump had not included significant figures within his administration, and sparked a resignation of National Security Adviser Bolton, who had not been in the loop. Imagine the resistance if Trump had opposed more? But now, if Trump politically survives this, the swamp is exposed and has no support from conservatives. I'm reminded of former Premier of Victoria Jeff Kennett who had led a successful conservative government and had a crash or crash through election which he lost. Had Kennett won, he had clear air for a long time, but having lost Victoria is where the US will be if Biden is allowed to cheat a win.

Trump cycle has it Trump is on his knees, before ... Media is cheering expected partisan court decisions to not support inquiry into voting fraud. However, they overstate the meaning of the shortfalls. The Trump campaign to have their electoral win restored was never going to be straightforward. They have the evidence. It points to multiple elections and undermines the credibility of US Democracy. Ultimately, aspects of it will be decided by SCOTUS. We do not yet know how SCOTUS will decide, or even what exact evidence they will face. But we know the evidence is substantial, and in an effort to suppress the will of conservative resistance, media are claiming that the evidence is not substantive and so the evidence is yet to be addressed. Maybe there is a good reason for a CIA asset being deployed to fraudulently control the US election. Let us hear what it is.

It is apparent that Dems committed fraud to steal the 2020 election. They may well have done similar in 2016. In 2016, Fox declared Pennsylvania early to HRC. The demand was made for Trump to concede. Trump won in 2016, but it surprised the establishment that did similar in their voter suppression as they have done in 2020. HRC had organised a victory party, but blessed marching vagina instead. Even her book did not say what happened. Trump has been very good at mobilising ordinary, decent Americans to support him in numbers greater than any GOP ever. Trump does not court race, or gender, like his racist, bigoted opposition have. Yet Trump has extraordinary minority support for a GOP, possibly the highest since Eleanor Roosevelt courted the Black vote as her husband exploited them. The Dem voting pattern and issues echo the Obama wins too. How long have Dems been using these fraudulent methods to obtain votes? Did they use them to bodgy the 2006 mid terms? It is not that the mysterious support of vapour for Dems is so clearly fraudulent, but, other than violent rioters, and #FakeNews, where is their support, really? How come there is no policy platform for Democrats? Why does Big Tech have to censor the truth? How many millions of Trump supporting votes have been given to Biden? The corruption is so apparent, and so pervasive, that if Trump concedes 2020, he will be conceding all elections that follow, and the flame of liberty will be extinguished in America.

Don't give up on hope. The evil that was Charles Manson is now dead. It was wrong he was not executed long ago. Tennis great Jana Novotna has succumbed to cancer at 49. Jana lived a good life, which was not long enough. A judge excused a pedophile because the pedophile had high cholesterol. But remember today because Matthew Guy gave a great speech, and Guy will be the next Premier of Victoria.

IPA Review (Nov 2016) features a Matthew Lesh article on “Australian Tax Mutineers” and it includes Chinese migrants in Australia 1859 - 62. The headline is misleading, as Chinese had been part of Sydney colony since foundation, with various Chinese peoples forming part of the crews of ships. My own great great great great grandfather, Mak Sai Ying came to Australia in 1818 as a ship board wood worker and stayed in Sydney, becoming the first known Chinese migrant to Australia. Ying started a business specialising in funeral arrangements for Chinese people, and a pub in Parramatta, and oversaw a Chinese port a decade before the first Opium war as well as starting a family. Ying also started a surname, Shying, which began in Sydney but is now worldwide. It is said that Australia had racist foundations, but that wasn’t the direct experience of my ancestor or his family. But there was a tax rebellion which occurred because of a racist act in 1859 which had Chinese peoples paying a fortune in protection money each year. My great great grandfather bought a large chunk of Broad Street in Croydon Park in 1901 for ten pounds. In 1859, every Chinese person was paying a landing fee of ten pounds, a gold digging tax of one pound and an annual fee of 1 pound protection money. Some argued they didn’t have to pay because they were British subjects from Hong Kong (Mak Sai Ying had come from Canton Province). 3000 Chinese migrants marched on Castlemaine’s local warden’s residence in 1859. By 1862, with Chinese resistance including not paying the tax, the tax was repealed.

Bureaucratic racism to Chinese did not end in 1862. In NZ, laws prevented Chinese ownership of property until 1972.

The left wing do not know that President Bush was right to invade Iraq. He did so to protect the world from things like the Sabbath 13th November Paris atrocity. Saddam had paid for such atrocities and committed many of his own. Saddam's people suffered. Since Saddam was toppled, Iraq was privileged with a Democracy, which became a puppet administration to Iran after Obama became President. Liars say things like life was better in Iraq under Saddam, which isn't true and can be illustrated by looking at the population which was depressed under Saddam but strongly growing since. Apparently people didn't want their sons killed in pointless wars and their daughters raped by friends of Saddam. Saddam had chemical weapons given to him by Jimmy Carter, used against his own people and later against Syrians. For the left wing, it is a story about oil. As if it would be wrong to fight for national interests too. But oil was definitely not the deciding interest, as if it had been Venezuela would be a US state.

For some, at the moment, the Sex Party has more credibility.
From 2014
Under the rock
Obeid, McDonald to be charged from ICAC investigation. Their conduct is a thread leading to the heart of the ALP. Former Premier of NSW Nathan Rees has referred to the conduct of the duo as having led to serious damage of the body politic in NSW, but Rees diminishes that by referring to Liberal Party people who got caught in faux corruption charges. ALP Leader in NSW Robertson also pats himself on the back pointing out the duo have been dumped by the ALP. But the corruption of the duo was kindled inside the ALP, not the Liberal Party, and does not end with the duo. In fact, both Rees and Robertson have yet to answer for their part in fostering the corruption surrounding the duo, some of which does not include the duo. A minister, ALP who was a pedophile is in jail, but the whistleblower that outed him was shabbily treated. The ALP went through many leaders, and the wheels stopped after Robertson had been let in by Obeid. There is no exemplar conduct of the ALP suggesting they have reformed or cleaned up corruption.

Protecting the ALP from criticism is the job of the biased ABC. And for the public broadcaster, their conduct is corrupt, as their charter does not cover the activity. To call the ABC merely biased, which is evident, is to deny what is also apparent, that the ABC has a depraved indifference to victims of ALP corruption. They have a narrative markedly different from reality and they rely on support from their media stablemates to maintain the narrative. Which is why ALP corruption going back decades and involving drugs, murder and pedophilia has not been prosecuted. They laud the corrupt and incompetent. But as to the incompetent, while there is much evidence they were in fact corrupt, there is no reason to assume they were merely inept. But if the ABC wish to show they are inept and not corrupt, they should provide the evidence. Media Watch hasn't.

Also under the rock is the bigot comic Leunig. The equivocation of the ABC that there is fighting on both sides in Palestine ignores the truth that terrorism is being committed by the so called Palestinians and that Israel is acting with extraordinary discipline in the face of that terrorism. Leunig has labelled Israel as Nazis in his comics. That is propaganda Goebels might have been proud of. But in his defence, Leunig wonders why his anti semitism is being pointed to at all. It is because it is a character flaw that is unbecoming in a successful comic and unacceptable in the public domain unchallenged. It should fall foul of 18c, only that law is selectively used, and leftist bigots are protected.

Also under the rock is the Human Rights Council who have endorsed people smugglers drowning asylum seekers as preferable to an orderly immigration scheme. HRC have endangered aboriginal children by championing a dangerous myth of a stolen generation. HRC champion the bad law of 18c and they pay money to leftists, whom they laud, not conservatives, whom they ignore or oppose.

All of the above will focus on idiots or inflated shortcomings of conservatives. It is the case conservatives get it wrong sometimes. Lambie is not a conservative, and she has a strong pro ALP voting record. But the above will attempt to hold conservatives to account for Lambie's actions. So now, we will give advice to Mr Abbott regarding popularity and getting things done. Don't worry mate. Just keep doing your best and voters will reward you.
From 2013
The well remunerated ABC are aiming for a diplomatic incident between Australia and Indonesia. They hope that people will drown, and they blame Abbott for Rudd's indiscretions. But not all Rudd's indiscretions. There is the matter of Rudd's attempted assassination of the top leaders of Timor in '08. No media reports about that because it doesn't reflect badly on Abbott. Nothing that has been trumped up between Australia and Indonesia reflects badly on Abbott, but Indonesia is gearing up for election and media are allowing grandstanders to capture the public eye at the expense of good government. It is illustrative of what the media do in Australia too, which is why the Liberal Government in Victoria is struggling. Certainly the ALP offer nothing beyond corruption for Victorians, but the media would have you believe Victorians hunger for bad government.

Zero Tolerance works to stop violence. Police need this scope to address drunken violence which has claimed lives recently. Good government would act to implement it. Mr O'Farrell, will you act on this?

ALP leaders may not have integrity, but they have conviction that they are right. That kind of hubris can't be healthy, and evidently isn't. Still, it allowed a bad marriage between the ALP and Greens. But like all bad marriages, there is now a dispute over how to divide the innocent ones. The wisdom of Solomon assumes a good parent. Neither fits that description. They kill asylum seekers just to appear compassionate. Is there hope for ALP leader Shorten? Bolt thought so for a few moments, but no. Shorten has all the ability of a Nathan Reese who has stepped down as ALP shadow minister in NSW after caught having an extra marital affair with a constituent. I still won't contact Zangari, who is my local member. But I know Zangari won't help me because he says so.

A special shout out to Pope Francis. I'm not Catholic, but approve of his message and actions. Not all conservatives agree on everything. That is something that lefties do, and it results in group think. which results in things like the Obama Presidency and NSW ALP corruption. Francis is right to point to what unites his flock, not dwell on what divides it. But then Francis is not paid to lie and mislead as the ABC is. Also, many applause from me to the Executive Council of Australia Jewry who made a media release on the Armenian Genocide issue. I agree with the executive council on each point. Free speech means that idiot is allowed to say what he allegedly thinks. It also means I am free to show how stupid such 'thoughts' are. To suggest the killing of a million people over years was not something a government is responsible for is no different to voting for a person who has a particular skin colour. It is bigoted and inexcusable. It is irresponsible and natural justice suggests that it be addressed and redressed. I note it is not technically feasible to raise the dead or take back torture, so monetary compensation is part of what must happen. Also, those who have held up the process of natural justice should face jail.
