10th Nov Review of Historical and Current Affairs

My name is David Daniel Ball and I am Voice DDB dot locals dot com a voice of freedom supporting freedom around the world for all peoples. I write on historical and current affairs. I look for the conservative voice where mainstream media eschews it. Around the world media espouses liberalism orthodoxy and proclaims a history of liberalism that never happened. Liberalism of today is based on repeated lies that have been accepted from the past.

Consider these recent truths

It is US election season and the Dem machine spun effectively, but the people's will asserted dominance in a few places. In one place, Virginia, The Governor, Lt Governor and Attorney General were all elected GOP. Nationally, the Democrats campaigned on calling anyone conservative racist. Apparently, unless one owns a pet black or hispanic, one begins dressing as a KKK or white supremacist. How the Dem media cabal know this is not explained, but it is worth noting there is a picture of the Dem campaigning for Virginia governor either dressed in black face or as a KKK, nobody knows which, for a party without pets. However, so called conservative media agrees the reason why the Dem campaigner failed so badly was for telling parents they had no rights in educating their own children, or in vaccinating their own children against something that is not a threat to them.

The stunning Virginia success was copied in NJ, without the success. NJ was better geared to exploiting voter fraud. A senior senator for Dems lost to an independent trucker, before 'discovering' tens of thousands of votes post election. At least one respected pollster had projected an 11% win to Dems in NJ. The pollster apologised to GOP following. But it is another example of voter suppression. There is no excuse for a representative sample to be so out of step with the modified census. If GOP maintain the ascendancy to next year's election, they will rout Democrats in the mid terms. But only in swing states with balanced election laws allowing free and fair elections. Even iin Florida there will still be Dem controlled counties that will impede free and fair elections.

Durham Prosecution established by Barr under Trump is claiming more results with evidence of what was already known. FBI prosecuted the Trump campaign and administration while knowing that the evidence used to justify the investigation was bogus. FBI knew that Clinton had paid for the fake Steele dossier. and yet they threw advisers to Trump in jail on trumped up charges. When it was discovered what the cabal had done, FBI has stymied investigation. It is now apparent that FBI embedded itself during the riots of 2020 with a view to challenging Trump at election.

The Rittenhouse Trial is supposed to finish Friday 12th November, but the revelations from discovery and trial are breath taking. Rittenhouse is innocent of anything from the incident, except breaking a curfew that rioters were allowed to ignore. It turns out the US's longest serving mayor, a Democrat, was exploiting the riots and Rittenhouse, who may have been killed by any of many mayoral accomplices, survived partly by luck. It has been discovered that the FBI had video surveillance, and they deleted an HD version, possibly because it revealed many FBI agents among the rioters. Of three people Rittenhouse needed to shoot to avoid death, all were known to law in a bad way. Press had claimed Rittenhouse shot three people at random. Shooting at random in a Democrat based riot one might choose out of any three an armed felon, a wife beater and a recently released violent schizophrenic off their meds. Although the defence seems incompetent, the state's evidence appears to exonerate Rittenhouse.
=== From recent years ===
The first woman elected to US Congress, Jeanette Rankin, was first elected on this day in 1916. She was again elected in 1940. As a Republican, she was foundational to the civil rights movement. She was a Suffragette. She was a pacifist. She never married and might have been gay. None of that precluded her from representation as a Republican. There is no evidence she was corrupt, so she could never have been a Democrat? Following her elections, US joined a world war. Maybe it is good she wasn't elected a third time? Interestingly, both US involvements in the wars involved a telegram, Mexico being invited to fight the US by Germany in WW1, and Japan signalling Pearl Harbour's attack. Neither time was the telegram anything to do with GOP, but both times Dem seized on them for war. Today, we are told that Biden would pay any invasion force $450k each.

Also on this day, Woodrow Wilson was re-elected as President, on the promise to not involve the US in the World War. He would change his mind, but found a way to involve black regiments as cannon fodder. He would send Robert Russa Moton as an observer of the black regiments, with a view to maintaining discipline. Moton, a grandson of a slaver who was later enslaved, would later align black peoples with Dems for the New Deal.

We are being lied to. But not by everyone. Our nations and their justice machinery are not broken, but damaged. Things are bad, but they are supposed to be bad, rather than merely breaking. We can't give up. We must reject the liars, and remove them from public office, and prosecute them lawfully. Things can get better, but we must persevere or risk losing hope. We must not fight the Devil by playing the Devil's game. Rather we must resist the Devil by being free. There is no law against doing what is right. Their utter depravity kills us. They target us and they seek to restrain us. But while the greatest among us a hundred years ago has died, their legacy has not. That which we are, we are. Lockdowns were ineffective in dealing with COVID. Effective medication has been denied whole populations. Herd immunity will prevail. Fraud deleteriously affected recent elections around the world. But, Democracy will prevail. Our oppressors will pass. For us to win, we must assert our freedoms. For us to lose, we must willingly surrender our freedoms forever. Our children will have to pay back our debt. We must sacrifice now so that they can. That means telling truth to power. That means pointing up when when some get confused and lose their way. Stand by the one who sacrificed their pension and freedoms to speak out. Prosecute the ones forgiven by a debauched and self interested administration. Vote for those who help you exercise your freedom. Don't wait for free speech. Exercise free speech.

Intro to Locals.com

My name is David Daniel Ball I'm a teacher with three decades experience teaching math to high school kids.I also work with first graders and kids in between first grade and high school. I know the legends of why Hypatia's dad is remembered through his contribution to Math theory. And I know the legend of why followers of Godel had thought he had disproved God's existence.

I'm not a preacher, but I am a Christian who has written over 28 books all of which include some reference to my faith. Twelve blog books on world history and current affairs, detailing world events , births and marriages on each day of the year, organised by month. Twelve books on the background to and history of Bible Quotes. One Bible quote per day for a year. An intro to a science fiction series I'm planning, post apocalyptic cyber punk. An autobiography with short story collections.

I'm known in Australia for my failure as a whistleblower over the negligence death of a school boy. I had reported the issue responsibly and had not known I'd blown the whistle. The embarrassed left wing government had responded by imposition of a nationwide ban on the use of peanut butter in canteens, despite failing to address the issue of peanut allergy appropriately.

I've been de-platformed on Facebook and twitter despite not being an activist. Twitter did not like me asking for Obama to face justice in 2011. FB gave no specific reason for removing me following Jan 6th 2021 in Washington DC where a policeman killed an unarmed woman, so a crowd would know he was in control.

Sidney Powell: We’ve Identified 450,000 Ballots Cast for Joe Biden ONLY – No Down-Ballot Candidates

https://bongino.com/sidney-powell-weve-identified-450000-ballots-cast-for-joe-biden-only-no-down-ballot-candidates

There has been a massive and coordinated effort to steal this election from we the people of the United States of America, to delegitimize and destroy votes for Donald Trump, to manufacture votes for Joe Biden.

They have done it in every way imaginable, from having dead people vote in massive numbers, to absolutely, fraudulently creating ballots that exist only voting for Biden.

They also used an algorithm to calculate the votes they would need to flip, and they used computers to flip those votes from…Trump to Biden, and from other Republican candidates to their competitors also.

We’ve identified at least 450,000 ballots in the key states that miraculously only have a mark for Joe Biden on them and no other candidate.

Three Election Oddities No One Can Deny

https://bongino.com/three-election-oddities-no-one-can-deny

Excluding last week’s election, the winner of Ohio has gone on to win the presidential election in every single election since 1904, with two exceptions. Republican Thomas Dewey won Ohio and then lost to Franklin Delano Roosevelt in 1944, and Republican Richard Nixon won Ohio in 1960 and then lost to John F. Kennedy.

Florida is the largest bellwether state. Only twice has a Democrat won the presidency without winning Florida, while no Republican since Calvin Coolidge has won the presidency without it.

Meanwhile, Trump picked up support in hard left states like New York, doing six percentage points better in 2020 with 42.9% of the vote, compared to 36.% against Hillary.

So Trump won bellwether states and picked up support in the Empire State, yet struggled in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and reliably-red Georgia? How was it that Trump won those two bellwether states that were called on election night, yet the others, who were not called on election night, ended up eventually going to Biden?

Media Lies About Pfizer Partnership With Trump Administration’s Operation Warp Speed

https://thefederalist.com/2020/11/09/media-lies-about-pfizer-partnership-with-trump-administrations-operation-warp-speed/

Monday morning’s news that Pfizer has shown a 90 percent effectiveness rate in its soon-to-be-available vaccine should have been a moment of national unity and joy. More than that, it should have been treated as an achievement by the Trump administration and its efforts through Operation Warp Speed to develop a vaccine. But no sooner had the news broken than outlets like the New York Times and Washington Post sought to make sure Trump got no credit for it.

The Times quoted Kathrin Jansen, the head of vaccine development at Pfizer as saying, “We have never taken money from the US government or from anyone,” and then went on to claim Pfizer was never a part of Operation Warp Speed. This is simply not true.

Trump fires Secretary of Defense Mark Esper

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-fires-secretary-of-defense-mark-esper

Recently, there have been reports that Esper could be removed from his post or could be preparing resignation letters, but some members of his staff believed that he would remain through inauguration.

Esper's firing comes five months after he said he did "not support invoking the Insurrection Act," amid nationwide protests over the summer. He has not held a press conference in the Pentagon briefing room since July.

"The option to use active-duty forces in a law enforcement role should only be used as a matter of last resort and only in the most urgent and dire situations," Esper said in June. "We are not in one of those situations now. I do not support invoking the Insurrection Act."

READ: The Letter 39 GOPers Sent to AG Barr Over Alleged Voter Fraud

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/bethbaumann/2020/11/08/read-39-republicans-call-on-ag-barr-to-investigate-alleged-voter-fraud-n2579710

Dear Attorney General Barr,

While each state runs its own election process, the United States Department of Justice is ultimately responsible for the integrity of federal elections. The American people must have the utmost confidence that the outcome of the presidential election is legitimate.

With widespread reports of irregularities, particularly in the vote counting process, it is time for you to use the resources of the Department to ensure that the process is conducted in a manner that is fully consistent with state and federal law. And, it is also important that the process be completely transparent, so that the American people will have full confidence in the result.

The Justice Department's Civil Rights Division Voting Section's responsibility to ensure that the right to vote is sacred. This not only means access to the ballot box, but it also means ensuring that no one's vote is devalued by any means of voter fraud.

The U.S. Marshals Service is also available to ensure that judicial orders are carried out. When it comes to a federal election, it should not matter whether those judicial orders come from a state or federal court. For example, if a state court orders that observers can watch ballot counting in a federal election, no local election official should be able to defy that order.

With that in mind, we request an immediate response to the following questions. What are you doing to ensure the integrity of the voting and counting process right now? Will you commit to using all the resources at your disposal to ensure that only legal votes are being counted and being counted in a fully transparent and manner immediately?

Thank you for your prompt reply.

Mitch McConnell Backs Trump Campaign’s Legal Fight

https://bongino.com/mitch-mcconnell-backs-trump-campaigns-legal-fight

===

The Trump Campaign: “Concede” Is “Not Even in Our Vocabulary Right Now”
MARIA BARTIROMO: Just to be clear, are you expecting the president to concede anytime soon? Is he going to call Joe Biden anytime soon? As these lawsuits drop, Rudy Giuliani told me yesterday he is looking at up to 10 states that could affect 800,000 ballots.

JASON MILLER: That word is not even in our vocabulary right now. We’re going to pursue all of these legal means, all of the recount methods. We’re going to continue exposing and investigating all these instances of fraud or abuse, and make sure that the American public can have full confidence in these elections. It’s not just our campaign saying we need to go through these, in certain states like Arizona, Georgia, and others, these are mandatory recounts that are coming up. We have to go through the process and a lot of Americans — 71 million Americans — voted for this president, so they want to make sure that justice is served.

Attorney General William Barr Authorizes DOJ to Look into Voting Irregularities
=== From 2017 ===
Don't give up on hope. Scott McNeil asked the excellent question on his FB live event with me "How do you argue with members of the Left? Do you just immediately block them?" I am a teacher. I believe training works. Some people don't know the issues. I have an open invitation to discuss issues. I have friends or former students who have strong left wing values. In all my years, I have never had a rational response to AGW hysteria (Why spend over $100 trillion opposing plant food to achieve a fraction of a degree's change in 100 years?), or illegal migration (why expose desperate people to piracy and possible death while simultaneously lowering security against terrorism?), Capitalism (why oppose the means for poor people to escape poverty?), Israel (why support the mythical claim of Palestine and deny the valid need for Israel's security?). So effectively I give rope and they hang themselves. Some become desperate to talk to me, and yet they are rabidly antisemitic, hate people and are abusive. Here is a tip lefties, it is ok to think I'm a homophobic, racist taking money from big oil, but it is a poor argument to call me those things when I'm not. Hillary did a magnificent job with that, but even with your full support, failed convincingly and may yet go to jail for corruption.

The left tend to argue through abuse, not logic. Allegedly Manus Island illegal immigrants are 'living in squalid conditions' because they refuse to clean up after themselves with toilets and showers. AGW hysteric warn we are now producing so much food from excess CO2 that we'll get fat. Public health doctors in Victoria feel they cannot speak out in debate against euthanasia legislation according to NSW public health officials. I oppose the Euthanasia legislation proposed for Victoria because I know the safeguards are not in place to effectively manage it. It will work and people will die, but not necessarily the terminally ill in unnecessary pain, but the lonely and sad .. and the occasional victim of foul play. I know now why lefties are screaming at the sky a year after Trump won election. Because they do not reason in debate.
=== from 2016 ===
Hillary Clinton, the ‘safe pair of hands’ who was reliable, and shocked when Trump, in debate, said he might not endorse the winner of the election, refused to endorse Trump post election and so violence on US streets is occurring as her supporters run amok. Apparently HRC was willing to accept democracy so long as it agreed with her. Trump is President elect, not President, and so cannot yet drain the swamp. The illiberal and partisan press are manoeuvring to bring down a Trump administration. The Democrats are too weak to be a stumbling block in congress, so it is up to the press to oppose Trump, apparently.

Doing his bit from Melbourne on 3aw, Neil Mitchell interviews former NSW Premier Bob Carr, who got it dead wrong yesterday, again. Carr feeds the opening statements of Mitchell, who claimed he was confused and did not know what Trump stood for. Mitchell fears nuclear war. Mitchell fears a war on Mexicans and Russia and China. Mitchell thinks Trump will disgrace women and abuse the law. Bob Carr assures Mitchell that nuclear war is more likely under Trump and Australia is a larger target because of Pine Gap. Meanwhile, Mitchell won’t talk with me on or off air. I can tell Mitchell what Trump’s first hundred day plan is. No mention of nuclear war, war on Mexicans, women or blacks, but maybe things have been added recently? Trump wants to cut taxes to promote growth and strengthen the US economy. Trump wants to negotiate internationally from positions of strength. Bob Carr is simply out of his depth on political commentary. We are being told that the lesson of Brexit and the Trump election is that political elites need to listen to the average person. One gets the feeling that Mitchell never listens to the exceptional or gifted, and only really interviews himself or people that are safe for him.

IPA Review (Aug 2016) features a Matthew Lesh article “Triggering Censorship.” Political correctness censors free thought. It always has. A terrible status of illiberalism is developed and rampant under the left wing internationally. The world is smaller in the twenty first century, but not closer together. Freedom of thought is further away thanks to the unfettered power of political correctness employing tools like “Triggering” and legislation that prevents discussion and authorities who produce purity statements and persecute innocent people mercilessly. Isaac Newton would have faced charges of witchcraft had his research into alchemy been known. Imagine his groundbreaking research into lenses, into calculus and into modern banking never done for breaking a PC regulation? PC is pernicious, and it is up to good people to stand up and hold open the door of inquiry. It is not disturbing that PC exists at universities. It is heart wrenching it remain unopposed by authorities or individuals of consequence with vision. Clearly HRC (Human Rights Committee) in Australia has a depraved indifference to their responsibility. Malcolm Turnbull stood up today to remind us he is incompetent with his fulsome greeting of President elect Trump’s success. If the PM cannot champion free thought, who will?

I don't feel valued by the IPA. But I must note, and maybe gloat a little, I was right about Trump's win. I predicted it months ago. I was right in how it would progress. I was right in how it would be successful. The first GOP triple crown win of both houses of congress and White House since 1928. A Reagan like economic plan. We should be cheering. .. just a note for those grieving .. The world will keep turning.
Here's text from The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers:
Frodo: "I can't do this, Sam..."
Sam: "I know... It's all wrong. By rights we shouldn't even be here... But we are... It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were, and sometimes you didn't want to know the ending, because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened. But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come and when the sun shines it'll shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you, that meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr Frodo, I do understand... I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back only the didn't. They kept going, because they were holding onto something...
Frodo: What are we holding onto, Sam?
Sam: That there's some good in this world, Mr Frodo... And it's worth fighting for.

Burma, or Myanmar, has had a win for freedom and democracy. An estimated 80% supported the party of Aung San Suu Kyi (not her name, so much as her title). It remains to be seen if the party can redirect the nation towards good things. A military that is connected to the opposition, a public service that is partial to the communists, a judiciary and police that have turned blind eyes to corruption and state sanctioned street killings are obstacles to the new government. The people want better. They want foreign aid and communication. They want to be proud in their history, and connected with the world.

The cold war Obama has initiated, to deal with Syria, Ukraine and North Korea, is now entering sport with accusations that Russia has cheated better than the US. There is no evidence Obama has used performance enhancing drugs. But, swap out questions of birthplace and academic record and instead look at the same answers as with questions about the use of performance enhancing drugs and no court would hesitate to convict.

For some, at the moment, the Sex Party has more credibility.

Freedom regardless of race, creed or gender is a cultural asset. An asset the ABC denies with their criticism of Julie Bishop for saying she is a woman, but not a feminist. The totalitarian left prefer their own social order. ABC is out of control, praising ALP Icons without reference to reality, but trashing the virtuous conservatives out of hand.

Libya has a city joining ISIL. It seems that Gillard's intervention there worked as well as her others.

A vote for ALP in Victoria is a vote for a corrupt CFMEU to play a role in that government.

Bill Shorten got a simple fact wrong three times in three interviews over 72 hours. It is like Rudd's "Michelle Corby" moment. Illustrative that he cannot lead, but still the press will follow him. The Abbott government has been stunningly effective very quickly. And the media who viciously attacked him have not got good explanations for it. But one can detect heaps of stretch marks on trumped up issues. One such issue involves a convicted terrorist and anti semite who regrets his confession. Another issue is on that of boat people. No one wants people to drown after subjecting themselves to piracy. Boats have stopped for three weeks recently. That is because of Abbott's effective policy reinstating a Pacific Solution Rudd had stopped.

One can understand why so called moderates in the Islamic community have failed to speak out over their communities atrocities committed around the world on everyone, including other Islamic peoples. Speaking out can have one killed by stoning, hanging, crucifixion, disembowelling and result in the slaughter of their families and loved ones. It is gratifying to hear of a doctor asking for those who know of their loved ones involved in local shootings to speak out, because it is better to be in prison than dead. Quite so.
It is heartbreaking to see little weight given a victim impact statement. Killing someone is a serious crime even if life for the killer was hard. It doesn't excuse AGW believers either, even though they have silenced their critics after stealing $trillions from the world economy and thrown the poorest deeper into poverty. Many will have died from deprivation as a result of their actions, and none saved for their belief. A very poor return from their religion.
