Editorial NSA spying on US citizens for political masters

When Nixon was asked about the NSA he replied it stood for 'No such agency.' Recently, FBI joined with numerous other police agencies worldwide to wrap up a sting where criminals had used a communication network the FBI had invented for criminal use. Thousands around the world were arrested, but not in USA, as their communication was protected. The US government was not allowed to read them. Except, it is apparent that the US government has been reading such intelligence involving people not engaged in criminal activity. Why give criminals a free pass? Is it because many of those criminals were Democrats? 

How are we to respond to news that NSA have been spying on Tucker Carlson? We know that they bungled spying on Carter Page over Spy-gate. NSA have emails from Tucker Carlson after Carlson met with a world leader from central America. Why is it that those without 'Democrat Insurance' are faced with lawless bureaucracy from USA, while Democrats maintain no oversight? Or can the FBI begin prosecuting the criminals whose emails they have? Hillary Clinton 'wrote' a book called "It takes a village." Did that village include police?

Editorial Cancel culture claims woke

Babylon Bee, satirical media outlet, had been cancelled by Mail Chimp. Mail Chimp corrected their 'mistake' but Babylon Bee have taken their services elsewhere. The 'mistake' severed communication for Babylon Bee with their subscribers. Mail Chimp had declared the email content of Babylon Bee as being 'harmful information.' It is an escalation of FB's practice with users. FB users have public content. Mail Chimp merely facilitates email. Not only had Mail Chimp lawlessly mislabelled private content of their users, but they had accessed it to judge it, illegally. 

Imagine a teen girl maintaining a secret diary where she revealed her personal thoughts for herself to consider. Imagine how that girl would feel if her worst critic had snuck into her room, found the diary, and corrected it, posting the correction publicly at school. That is what Mail Chimp did to a paying client. However, is what other sites are doing lawful? What about FB's activity censoring accounts for no reason other than disagreeing with their politics? How about those who were censored for posting on Wuhan lab leak theory? Or for posting on Hunter Biden's laptop? What is happening to the land of the free, and the home of the brave? 

Editorial Dan Andrews obfuscates on his fall

He felt he was so badly off that he refused an ambulance or anyone who might have screened his blood toxicology. And he has had a press conference to obfuscate details. We know that after time, Andrews lies and claims he forgets. He cannot remember details of his choices giving a security gig to mates who failed during a COVID lockdown, killing over a hundred Victorians. Andrews says he thought he was going to die. So why the cover up? And why does the article finish with a shaming statement for anyone who asks why? 

If Andrews fell because he was blotto, then Victorians need to know. Letting Andrews take the reigns off power when he has flagrantly failed in his duty in the past is wrong. Over a hundred Victorians have died because of Andrews' mismanagement. Billions of dollars have gone missing.

Don't give up on hope. Bert Newton jokes regarding Graham Kennedy, so called King of Comedy, who has been dead decades. But, the joke has truth. Newton is being slammed for his mild barb because the pedophile protection industry needs the genie in the bottle before #MeToo escalates it. I do not know if Graham Kennedy was a pedophile. I have been told he had sex with under age boys. I note that the recent royal commissions into institutionalised responses to pedophilia have not claimed to have investigated Kennedy. A bad excuse they had given me in the past was that my issues were beneath them, and maybe they felt that Kennedy, being dead, could not be investigated?

Shorten's judgement is coming into question in the lead up to bye elections. However, Obama reinitiated the cold war, and Russia has excellent Cold War reasons to distance herself from Israel. And those reasons are not like the Ukraine's reasons for behaving badly. 

In reply to RG who was discussing direct voting democracy without politicians - Politics is only partly about decision making. So, to reduce it to the decision removes the decision making process. And it is the decision making process which can bring success or failure in important areas. Australia has fielded many such public votes on various issues since federation, through what is called referenda. Very few actually pass, even when popular. One magnificent example circa '88 was on the issue of "A proposed law: is to alter the Constitution to provide for fair and democratic parliamentary elections throughout Australia.

As part of the November 24th Vic election campaign I have a petition I want to bring before the Opposition Leader Matthew Guy.  The political despatch of Boris Johnson, who had led the successful Brexit campaign, was as surprising as the success of the campaign. The Notting Hill set have eaten their own. David Cameron finally fell, having never managed to appear strongly conservative. But his stable mate of Gove had sided with Johnson as the face of Brexit, and then ripped support away from Johnson and denounced Johnson as being too identifiably the face of Brexit, and unable to unite the conservative party. In fairness, Gove could not unite the party either. Gove has ambition and ability, as does Theresa May. There are echoes of the Metherell affair in NSW when two friends, Terry Metherell and Nick Greiner ran afoul of political perfection and Greiner was subsequently unfairly forced to resign as Premier of NSW. One incompetent independent of the time who unfairly attacked Greiner was Tony Windsor. Windsor is still trying to hurt good conservative candidates. 

For some, at the moment, the Sex Party has more credibility.

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation came into being on this day in 1932. It is a bureaucratic mess. But it isn't the worst mess on this day. The crime the twenty year old man committed was said to be failing to bow to a religious procession, but the unpleasant truth is that he was a protestant in a catholic land. Greece has defaulted on her IMF loan. Soon she will vote to approve or deny the imposition of austerity. But she has already done so, and her government ran on the lie that Greece didn't need austerity. Now the EU has a choice, but it isn't really a choice. Greece needs to be booted from the EU as a lesson in humility. It should never be the case that a nation employs people without paying them. The civilised world abhors slavery.

Today is an extraordinary day. The birthday of Semmelweis (1818) whose work as a physician gave rise to the legal term "Clean Hands". Or Dorothea Mackellar (1885) who beautifully described Australia in poetry. But for all the amazing wonderful things about today that I could point to, my mind is drawn to the infamous act of cowardice and butchery in which the three bodies of children of Israel were unearthed following their abduction. There is a cowardly dismissal of Middle East events involving Israel by those who do not know or care, that there is blood on both sides. But that is not the case. There is no analog for what Israel does that excuses this murder. It is inexcusable, and those who are responsible need to be brought to justice, and those who excuse should be discredited. 

Three boys went to a religious function and were on their way home when they were abducted. They were not warriors. Targeting them was an act of terror. One boy had been able to use his phone to let people know he had been abducted. That call was the last anyone heard him alive. It is not too hard to follow the mindset of the terrorists, but remarkably, one mother of one suspect has claimed she is proud of her son for doing it. I want religious authorities of the perpetrators to denounce the activity. If that mum has excused the activity, I want her discredited. Saddam Hussein had paid money to family of suicide bombers. If her people are serious about wanting peace, perhaps they will meet similar justice as was applied to Saddam. 

One imagines the terrorists alerted to the phone call told the boys that they would have to die and not merely be hostages because of it. They probably did their best to torture the boys, and blame them, before killing them. But the boys had done nothing wrong. Earlier this year, Obama had forced Israel to release terrorists who had killed, from jail for peace. No peace has been forthcoming from those terrorist supporters. One of the boys was a US citizen .. someone Obama has sworn an oath to protect and serve. But instead, the US President has paid US money to support a terrorist administration. Maybe Hamas will deny the activity, they have not yet, instead accusing Israel of overstating the crime. The UN cannot endorse this crime, and if they fail to act on it, they need to be dismantled. 

Three boys kidnapped, tortured and murdered by terrorists. Who dares support that? 

The incident is not isolated in Middle East terrorist history. The second intifada, which began after Bill Clinton embarrassed Arafat over a Monica Special cigar transformed a lynching of two Israeli security detail who had been illegally lured and detained by so called Palestinian authorities. This incident is on a par. A crime against humanity linked by successive Democrat party US Presidents.

He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said, "Cornelius!"

Behold the superlative liberality of the Lord Jesus, for he hath given us his all. At the very time when the Chaldeans surrounded Jerusalem, and when the sword, famine and pestilence had desolated the land, Jeremiah was commanded by God to purchase a field, and have the deed of transfer legally sealed and witnessed. This was a strange purchase for a rational man to make. Prudence could not justify it, for it was buying with scarcely a probability that the person purchasing could ever enjoy the possession. But it was enough for Jeremiah that his God had bidden him, for well he knew that God will be justified of all his children. He reasoned thus: "Ah, Lord God! thou canst make this plot of ground of use to me; thou canst rid this land of these oppressors; thou canst make me yet sit under my vine and my fig-tree in the heritage which I have bought; for thou didst make the heavens and the earth, and there is nothing too hard for thee." This gave a majesty to the early saints, that they dared to do at God's command things which carnal reason would condemn. Whether it be a Noah who is to build a ship on dry land, an Abraham who is to offer up his only son, or a Moses who is to despise the treasures of Egypt, or a Joshua who is to besiege Jericho seven days, using no weapons but the blasts of rams' horns, they all act upon God's command, contrary to the dictates of carnal reason; and the Lord gives them a rich reward as the result of their obedient faith. Would to God we had in the religion of these modern times a more potent infusion of this heroic faith in God. If we would venture more upon the naked promise of God, we should enter a world of wonders to which as yet we are strangers. Let Jeremiah's place of confidence be ours--nothing is too hard for the God that created the heavens and the earth.

I am a decent man and don't care for the abuse given me. I created a video raising awareness of anti police feeling among western communities. I chose the senseless killing of Nicola Cotton, a Louisiana policewoman who joined post Katrina, to highlight the issue. I did this in order to get an income after having been illegally blacklisted from work in NSW for being a whistleblower. I have not done anything wrong. Local council appointees refused to endorse my work, so I did it for free. Bread of Life is a daily bible quote with a layman's understanding of the meaning. I give one quote for each day, and also a series of personal stories illustrating key concepts eg Who is God? What is a miracle? Why is there tragedy?
