Hotel inquiry recalled after new contradictory evidence

Victoria’s chief health officer is expected to be put in the spotlight today during a special hearing investigating the disastrous hotel quarantine scheme.

The Victorian response to COVID is misplaced. Infections no longer matter. They need to be treated appropriately. There needs to be appropriate social distancing. There needs to be effective contact tracing. The Vic government has failed on each step. HCQ has been declared a poison. Masks are ineffective when people who aren't infectious from COVID meet, and business needs to be open so healthy people can work. Contact tracing has failed badly.
