Victorians Envious Of NSW Coronavirus Response - IPA Poll

The majority of Victorians feel New South Wales has done a better job at managing coronavirus than Victoria.

A poll commissioned by the IPA and released on Saturday shows the fatigue Victorians are feeling under Daniel Andrews' lockdown and their anger towards the Victorian government's response compared to that of New South Wales.

The poll asked Victorians to agree or disagree with the statement: “NSW has done a better job at managing the COVID-19 pandemic than Victoria.” The results were:
59% agree.
25% neither agree nor disagree.
16% disagree. [Link]

Evan Mulholland told the Herald Sun on Saturday that the results showed:

"People are over it.

The Andrews government has disfigured Victoria with more lockdowns to deal with the second wave unleashed by [their] catastrophic ineptitude with hotel quarantine and contact tracing."

Danger In New Zealand - Gideon Rozner in The Australian

Jacinda Ardern's crushing victory in last week's election is bad news for New Zealand. Gideon Rozner in The Australian on Monday explained why New Zealand risks becoming a "failed state":
"Jacinda Ardern is perhaps the worst person to lead New Zealand through this economic turbulence. Her first term has been marked by political triumphs but public policy disasters. Ardern’s empathic — even admirable — responses to events like the Christchurch massacre and the White Island volcano have masked a damning suite of failures in government...

Labour came to government promising to drive down carbon emissions, homelessness and child poverty; all three have risen."

Religious Worship Must Be Respected By Andrews Government

Daniel Andrews' new roadmap "highlights the hostility and irrelevance this government holds [for] organised religion", said Evan Mulholland on Sky News Weekend Live on Sunday. [Link]

Dara Macdonald last week outlined the extent to which religion is being left out under Victoria's changing restrictions:
"Step 3 restrictions...allow restaurants, bars, cafes and pubs to open for indoor dining of up to ten people (or 20 if the venue has two separate spaces) and up to 50 people for outdoor dining.

Community and religious organisations on the other hand are restricted to outdoor public gatherings only and with a maximum of 10 people plus the faith or community leader. Places of worship are only allowed to open for private worship, which is defined as a household or a household bubble (up to five people from that household) plus the faith leader." [Link]

Nobel Prize-winning immunologist explains why COVID-19 fatality rate is falling

'Brilliant idiot' doesn't get the death rate has not changed but the number of infected is more apparent. The media like the result, it exonerates them from charges related to their hysteria.

Daniel Andrews is now Scott Morrison's biggest threat

https://www.smh.com.au/national/daniel-andrews-is-now-scott-morrison-s-biggest-threat-20201022-p567n2.html

A few months ago, ScoMo gave Dan instructions to give certainty to Victorians about opening Victoria up. Dan's response was to announce a 'ring of steel' around Melbourne, and a lockdown that included a curfew drawing on emergency powers. Andrews is no threat to ScoMo, he is a threat to himself and Victorians.
