Wed 22nd December 2021 Current Affairs

My name is David Daniel Ball and I am Voice DDB dot locals dot com a voice of freedom supporting freedom around the world for all peoples. I write on historical and current affairs. I look for the conservative voice where mainstream media eschews it. Around the world media espouses liberalism orthodoxy and proclaims a history of liberalism that never happened. Liberalism of today is based on repeated lies that have been accepted from the past.

Today is a big day for

In 211, Publius Septimius Geta, co-emperor of Rome, was lured to come without his bodyguards to meet his brother Marcus Aurelius Antoninus (Caracalla), to discuss a possible reconciliation. Who will be left for Democrats after Obama, Biden, HRC, Schiff, Warren and Pelosi are prosecuted for their Russia Collusion Hoax? What will be left of the FBI and DOJ after Mueller, Comey et al are prosecuted for their collusion? Dan Bongino discusses the explosive exposure of how Russia has had HRC emails from her illegal server in which HRC tried to deflect from her exposure by blaming President Trump. What of the powerful tech business allies of HRC who colluded to get Biden elected President? How will FB, Google, youtube and Twitter be affected? Will their CEO's escape jail time? What of CNN? NBCNews?, CBSNews? FoxNews?

https://rumble.com/vbzwhf-editorial-december-19th-2020-dandenong-conservative.htmlI'm waiting for delayed gratification. T45 may well be the greatest President USA has had, based on analysis of achievements to date. He fixed a broken economy. He achieved peace by not going to war. He commandeered initiative in science and tech. He worked for all constituents, not the corrupt few which his opponents focused on.

Opposition to T45 has been substantially larger than for any previous President. The Russia Hoax dominated (swamped) his Presidency. Treasonous activity by tech giants and social elite have persecuted T45. Partly, that was at T45's behest because he was an outsider to Washington. Trump has walked a path others have not because opposition to outsiders is fierce. Including from within his own party, with RINO members part of the swamp.

Trump won re-election in terms of votes cast in record numbers. The swamp is trying to steal it from him. The swamp are abusing legal avenues to prevent analysis of their illegal activity. What will happen when it is decided that has not worked? How many people will the swamp kill to protect their 'interests'? In order to protect the union, SCOTUS has not acted prematurely. It is up to state legislatures to do the right thing. How will RINO affect the outcome of those state legislature? Will RINO break the union to support the swamp?

Don't give up on hope. IS has been defeated thanks in part to Donald Trump. Obama only fed IS. Obama never won a war. Without Obama, IS was toppled. Also thanks to Egypt opposing Muslim Brotherhood and Putin opposing IS even while Obama was feeding them. To be fair, IS could have been sons of Obama. Meanwhile in Pakistan a mosque has a US and an Israeli flag positioned on the floor for people to walk over. Westboro Baptist used to pull such stunts and was despised by Christians for it. Where are Muslims complaining about Muslims that bring Islam into disrepute? Now, a head of a state that NATO relies on, Turkey's Erdogan, has called on Israel's destruction. Were NATO responsive, they should sideline Turkey for such outrageous behaviour.

It is twenty years since Titanic was first released as a motion picture. To celebrate, Turnbull rearranges the deck chairs of ministerial positions. Instead of bringing an effective politician like Abbott in, Turnbull promotes known gaff ridden members and blames Barnaby Joyce for dropping a Victorian. The Victorian, Darren Chester, had held infrastructure and Victoria gets some 9.5% of infrastructure despite having 25% of the population. To be fair, Victoria would get more infrastructure if they were more responsible. But Victoria in the last year, since budget, has tossed away $29 billion on infrastructure costs that were not budgeted. Even as they failed to spend to build things properly. They dug up Yarra using shallow tunnels when deeper ones would not have inconvenienced everyone. And the extra cost would have been $500 million of an $11 billion budget, now grown to $13 billion. Is ALP worse than Turnbull? Will we ever know for sure? Turnbull survived Bennelong. Liberals would be smoking ruins if Turnbull lost it, and he might have with his dithering and gaffs. Only a smoking ruin will shift Turnbull?

The December IPA Review is out and opens with a Chris Berg editorial on the US Presidential election. I respect Berg, but disagree with his emphasis on things, but I represent myself, and he fronts the IPA and so his choices are more proscribed. For example, Berg was previously unflattering of Trump as a candidate, describing Trump as being the worst of GOP candidates and the least likely to beat Clinton. Only that is not what was evidenced by the election. Clinton’s support network could well have gotten her the election had she faced anyone else. What Trump had was broad popular support from a silent (silenced by media) majority. But he only got it at the end of the campaign. People lied outrageously during the campaign to promote Hillary and diminish Trump. One such liar is Shorten. Shorten made outrageous claims about people who supported Trump and what Trump will do as President. So does Berg. Berg backhandedly lauds Shorten for claiming to have learned from Trump’s win by demanding changes be made to 457 VISA. Another liar Berg backhands is Turnbull who openly supported Hillary and denounced candidate Trump. Now Turnbull claims Trump’s victory’s lesson is that Australia is better off focusing on jobs and growth. But if Turnbull was serious about that he would bring back Work Choices and promote free speech.

Berg then misrepresents Trump’s success by claiming it will be ameliorated by GOP ascendancy. Berg mischaracterises Trump’s trade diplomacy of tariffs on China, and tearing up NAFTA and TPP. There are bad deals for the US. Trump wants to institute good deals. A good deal for a TPP is much better than the thing Obama has strangled. Not to diminish the Abbott government’s work on free trade, free trade is important. Too important to leave a bad deal when a better one is achievable. Tariffs are counter productive, but then so is Chinese intransigence and poor ethics as a global citizen. A strong President can get China to behave, and then all will profit. And Tariffs are a starting negotiating point. If China wants to hurt herself, she can.

Berg is also wrong to say Australia is at a stalemate since the Coalition narrowly won the last federal election. Turnbull squandered a strong lead. Abbott had lined up a strong possibility of a conservative senate, the first since 2007. But Abbott had strong policy goals, while Turnbull offers inertia. Turnbull can only humiliate himself until he resigns in disgrace. Or, Turnbull can damage conservative government with his bed wetting accomplices.

Foolish independent Senator Lambie says Greens are like ISIS. But the facts don't stack up. Greens don't throw gays off rooftops or crucify Christians. And the behaviours of the Greens, what is similar to ISIS? Greens have their own diet. Greens collect in enclaves and don't assimilate well. Greens demand others be like them. Greens dismiss secular authority and claim to serve a higher purpose than any court. Greens want to raise their children their way. Greens want other children raised their way. Greens are extremely violent, particularly youthful ones and prone to damaging property while openly despising Western values. Green politicians don't follow a Green agenda but seem to follow the secret agenda that violent youthful Greens follow. Green leaders are impotent in the face of their followers violent expression. They say Greens are peaceful but don't reject Green violence. Impotent Green leaders blame the West for Green violence. Greens want to lower the age of consent.  Greens are lenient on sexual deviants. Where more than 5% of the population turns Green then they try to institute their own laws. Green refugees are said to include violent Green radicals trying to sponge off welfare states. Greens support no border policies which are responsible for the deaths of many and have many poor people exploited by piracy. Greens have invaded Europe and ruined it. Greens take over a billion dollars a day from the world's poorest and spend it on supporting their own billionaires. Greens are mainly atheist but claim they are profoundly religious. I have Green friends that are just like you or me and nothing like the above, most Greens aren't violent. Greens seem inspired by Communism and Socialism. Nothing like ISIS or jihadis. Meanwhile Australian PM Malcolm Turnbull is sad that Japan is legally allowed to hunt whales and wants to stop it, even if it means breaking the law? It is said Prince Charles favours Greens over Christians.

For some, at the moment, the Sex Party has more credibility.

Security in a modern nation is partly built on the illusion that things are impossible and unthinkable. As with killing 148 school children or holding a cafe with staff and customers hostage. There is no way such a thing should happen because it doesn't achieve anything worthwhile. The response to such activity would be firm and final by any decent person aware of it. But since Palestinian terrorists in the late '60s began committing such atrocities the illusion of security has evaporated in places. US has prided itself that domestic terrorism was too hard to commit because somebody would speak up. And yet the World Trade Centre was hit twice, and Oklahoma and the Boston marathon bombing occurred catching authorities by surprise when people had not spoken loudly enough to be heard. The US has been exposed to terrorism domestically.

There is a myth in medical research that more money will solve any problem. There is an element of truth to that, but sometimes it isn't the case. Aids research in the mid '80s had many laboratories around the world duplicating research. In that instance research was slowed because duplication does not promote diversity in research. The successful Western world has had a technological advantage for several hundred years because brilliant scholars weren't chained to old ideas, as duplication does. In the United States duplication and not diversification has promoted terrorism. It isn't that people have not spoken out as they were supposed to. It is that authorities could not hear them because of the chaff that claimed other similar or worse threats elsewhere. Consider the pilot trainer who warned authorities of a suspicious character who did not need to learn how to land a plane? Or of those who led authorities to the jihadist who couldn't suicide on 9/11 because he had been arrested? Israel has successfully combated terrorism since before she was a state, but she has had failures to. But successful methods preventing terror are actually opposed by some very influential people who lie to get people killed. Should Israel build a defensive wall? Should Israel security forces racially profile? Should Israel defend herself with disproportionate force? The same questions get asked in the US with the same effect, making it easier for terrorists to strike.

At the moment, the champion of politics of division is President Obama. Obama has funded terrorists directly through aid programs (e.g. Hamas), indirectly through negligent failure to appropriately use security forces (e.g. Benghazi), through rhetoric which divides the nation (e.g. black deaths from resisting arrest) and through abuse of power which employs people to abuse tax office investigative powers or legal privilege. The result is terrorism is easier now than it was before. Australia has a similar brigade of people who undermine the nation to make terrorism easier. Weakening border protection to make people smuggling profitable meant deaths from drowning and exploitation of some desperate people. Meanwhile, refugees in camps around the world are left in a limbo, having years of their lives placed on hold. Police and media restrict themselves from appropriately describing offenders. It makes policing more difficult which makes it more dangerous for others.

The competing theory, much as there are competing parties in democracy, places promotion of minorities at odds with promotion of cultural assets. If one promotes a cultural asset everyone benefits. If one promotes a minority, most people lose. Minorities do better too, when cultural assets are supported and the whole of society grows. And so, while there is no reason to kill 148 schoolchildren, one was given, and it scans for those who promote division. But for those who promote cultural assets, it makes no sense. It is worth looking at recent cases to see if there is a promotion of minorities which harms society, or a promotion of cultural assets which promotes cultural growth and benefits everyone:
  • Bludjahideen .. refugee program rorted and exposing Australia to danger
  • Child killers in Afghanistan
  • 8 children dead .. siblings in Cairns, 34 yo mother, eldest child is 20.
  • Fairfax blames Abbott for not saving Australia from Monis.
In other news;
  • Sinodinos quits allowing a reshuffle of cabinet in Australia. Sinodinos has not been shown to do anything wrong, but the ICAC have tried to get themselves dismantled before they completely tear apart the ALP for corruption. They will report in March in a cynical attempt to influence the electoral cycle, as it is near the state election.
  • Royal commission .. Gillard lied .. now demands apology. Gillard is upset she was called a liar when she had lied.
  • Clive Palmer's senior media advisor arrested in Indonesia. Palmer calls it a political stunt. The charges are serious and not connected to government but police investigating a crime.
  • Lambie wants to be talked to. She has declared she will oppose everything, but is now expressing hurt that people aren't discussing things with her.

Left wing argue using abuse. Often, they will lay down a few false statements and then build on them. So, a lefty arguing about politics in Australia, with the recent change of government, might say they hate Tony Abbott and are disgusted by him. They will say he isn't popular and he hates poor people. They will say he wants to make workers get paid less and rich people to get paid more. But the reality is very different to what they claim initially, and so an attempt to dispute any of their false assertions results in them back tracking to "You can't trust any of them." In fact Mr Abbott is a compassionate, friendly man. He is trying to improve the economy so that all prosper through honest work. It is pragmatic to encourage savings and investment because that drives growth. On the other hand, ALP politics is driven by hate and envy with a touch of cynicism. The ALP agenda is to tax poor working people and reward rich union leaders. So it is worth reading Blair's column on Van Badham's tweets. I ask my self the question "So how do others feel about a left wing party like the ALP moving to make anti semitism legal? Does that ever turn out well?"

We have hope. It is incumbent on us to win back the freedom denied us. And to protect that freedom. We will do that democratically. We will take back our legislature. We will get our courts to return to protecting our constitution.

I have lost everything several times. And yet here I am. Behind me is an Australian flag and a MAGA cap. On my MAGA cap is an American flag. I will die, one day. But, I pledge allegiance to the flag (of Australia and) the United States of America. And to the republics for which they stand. One nation. Indivisible. Under God. With liberty, and justice, for all.

We are being lied to. But not by everyone. Our nations and their justice machinery are not broken, but damaged. Things are bad, but they are supposed to be bad, rather than merely breaking. We can't give up. We must reject the liars, and remove them from public office, and prosecute them lawfully. Things can get better, but we must persevere or risk losing hope. We must not fight the Devil by playing the Devil's game. Rather we must resist the Devil by being free. There is no law against doing what is right. Their utter depravity kills us. They target us and they seek to restrain us. But while the greatest among us a hundred years ago has died, their legacy has not. That which we are, we are. Lockdowns were ineffective in dealing with COVID. Effective medication has been denied whole populations. Herd immunity will prevail. Fraud deleteriously affected recent elections around the world. But, Democracy will prevail. Our oppressors will pass. For us to win, we must assert our freedoms. For us to lose, we must willingly surrender our freedoms forever. Our children will have to pay back our debt. We must sacrifice now so that they can. That means telling truth to power. That means pointing up when when some get confused and lose their way. Stand by the one who sacrificed their pension and freedoms to speak out. Prosecute the ones forgiven by a debauched and self interested administration. Vote for those who help you exercise your freedom. Don't wait for free speech. Exercise free speech.

Intro to Locals.com

My name is David Daniel Ball I'm a teacher with three decades experience teaching math to high school kids.I also work with first graders and kids in between first grade and high school. I know the legends of why Hypatia's dad is remembered through his contribution to Math theory. And I know the legend of why followers of Godel had thought he had disproved God's existence.

I'm not a preacher, but I am a Christian who has written over 28 books all of which include some reference to my faith. Twelve blog books on world history and current affairs, detailing world events , births and marriages on each day of the year, organised by month. Twelve books on the background to and history of Bible Quotes. One Bible quote per day for a year. An intro to a science fiction series I'm planning, post apocalyptic cyber punk. An autobiography with short story collections.

I'm known in Australia for my failure as a whistleblower over the negligence death of a school boy. I had reported the issue responsibly and had not known I'd blown the whistle. The embarrassed left wing government had responded by imposition of a nationwide ban on the use of peanut butter in canteens, despite failing to address the issue of peanut allergy appropriately.

I've been de-platformed on Facebook and twitter despite not being an activist. Twitter did not like me asking for Obama to face justice in 2011. FB gave no specific reason for removing me following Jan 6th 2021 in Washington DC where a policeman killed an unarmed woman, so a crowd would know he was in control.

From the Bible, Revelation 12

The Woman and the Dragon

A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.” And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.

Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:

“Now have come the salvation and the power
and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Messiah.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
    has been hurled down.
They triumphed over him
by the blood of the Lamb
    and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much
    as to shrink from death.
Therefore rejoice, you heavens
and you who dwell in them!
But woe to the earth and the sea,
because the devil has gone down to you!
He is filled with fury,
because he knows that his time is short.”

When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach. Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.

1. Chattanooga shifted from a blue-collar manufacturing city to a new-economy (re: tourism, service industry, and tech/real estate) due to deliberate choices by the privileged classes that lord over the city from their Mountain and ridge homes. This transformation gets constant lovely praise from the "planners" and press, revealing in micro how politics really works. I enjoy some of those changes, but not all, and particularly oppose the anti-democratic means that achieved it. Too often, they don't ask: "for whom" does this benefit? I thank you for this. I don't accept the premise of Atheists that they can disprove God's existence through silly argument and analogy. God is real to me and I profoundly interact with God by reading the bible and enjoying fellowship. The arguments you present suggest God. But if you want a proof of God, you should argue, as Canon J John did when I was converted in 1985 shortly after Easter, that God is possible and not some desperate grasp. Further, a world without God is a world in need of God. As a child, you may have disappointed your parents. Does that mean your parents did not exist? Schopenhauer listed 38 arguments one could make to win an argument when they were wrong in fact. Account for those 38 arguments you have proven God. However, some of those 38 arguments have a near infinite variety of expressions. I argue differently. I explain the ramifications of who God is. I provide an example of an ordinary miracle. I describe the meaning of Tragedy in terms of the existence of God. I describe how the Bible came into being. I compare the development of the Bible with the revelation of God over a thousand years. I look at archaeology with pros and cons. It isn't rocket science. The faithful don't have to be smart. Just, forgiven.

Here is a video I made "You Don't Bring Me Flowers"
"You Don't Bring Me Flowers" is a song that hit the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts in 1978. It is a song about two lovers who have drifted apart while they "go through the motions" and heartache of life together. The song was written by Alan Bergman and Marilyn Bergman for the ill-fated TV show All That Glitters. The song was intended to be a theme song, but Norman Lear changed the concept of the show so that the song no longer fit. Eventually, Neil Diamond and several collaborators came upon the song (then only 45 seconds long) and expanded it with instrumental sections. The Bergmans expanded the song to full length with an additional verse, and the composition took form.

=== From 2020 ===

A former and a current CIA chief used their offices to create a fake news attack on then candidate Donald Trump. They did not use, apparently, CIA resources, but private ones which they then had given to FBI and state department as bona fide CIA intelligence. Two former FBI chiefs then colluded to create fake investigations to persecute the candidate, and later, President Trump. The actual application of the CIA to USA operations is illegal. Those chiefs and a few underlings, sponsored by a cabal of Democrats and big tech, have orchestrated crisis after crisis in the United States, and world. And DOJ chief Barr sees nothing wrong?

It is apparent the spying on Trump prior to 2016 election, and the subsequent attempt to remove him from office was baseless and corrupt. Yet is has become very hard to say so, with FB, Twitter and Google acting to restrict substantive evidence. Mainstream media print lies, but don't retract when corrected. Why did Fox news give North Carolina early, in error, to HRC in 2016? Why in 2020 did Fox news also give North Carolina early? How did pollsters measure fraudulent votes before they were cast? Why were pollsters so wrong about Trump popularity?

We know that FBI began investigating Trump before the 2016 election. We know it was based on a lie that had not been started by bona fide security channels but was initiated from HRC campaign and shepherded by senior CIA and FBI executives. What does Barr know that allows him to claim what he does?

https://rumble.com/vc3fg9-tue-22nd-december-2020-current-affairs.htmlTrump is fighting to get re elected after he was voted back in. Nothing is certain. I am confident he will walk down one of the roads which sees him inaugurated again on 20th January 2021. I am also certain there are very bad people fighting for their lives as criminals to deny him. The rumour surrounding Governor Kemp does not have to be true. The possibility that Kemp's daughter's significant other was murdered to threaten Kemp illustrates the stakes. If voter fraud is real, and has been detailed, imagine the breadth of the corruption involved in independently and multiply, conning voter authorities. It was not merely using COVID hysteria to change laws to allow voter fraud. It was not merely using trucks to carry fake ballots across state lines. It was not merely opening voting machines to hostile governments. It was not merely foreign governments compromising legislature in significant committees. It is not merely covering up for the corrupt activities. It is not merely tasking tech giants to sideline debate. It is all of that, and more. In order to maintain the lie, what keeps the corrupt pollsters in Georgia in line, and waiting for more? What keeps corrupt judges from respecting the law and the constitution? If the Media editors are corrupt, are the journalists corrupt too? All of them? When was it that not one capable, honest journalist worked at CNN? When was it that entire support structures of Facebook and Google would countenance the deception they perpetrate?

I can tell you I have no evidence that suggests there is an honest journalist at CNN. NYT, WaPo, LA Times etc etc. I have no evidence that suggests FB or Google are not part of a cabal. My interactions suggest gross incompetence among judges, police and authorities. I see a depraved indifference to the welfare of ordinary citizens as educational authorities persecute children who don't toe their lines, or repeat lies of convenience.

Allow me to throw some truth bombs illustrating the issues. COVID-19 is not as bad as a bad 'flu in terms of mortality, and the worst affected, elderly people, are living longer now than they were a year ago. Masks do not help healthy people fight COVID. AGW is a lie, and the world's temperatures have been rising since the end of the ice age, but seem more stable at the moment. Carbon Dioxide is plant food, a trace particle in our atmosphere and necessary for life on Earth. Fracking provides cheap, effective gas. Solar power is inefficient. Wind power is poorly implemented, killing birds. Nuclear power is safe, and something Iran should never have. It is ok to pray in school, or in church, or in public. It is ok to swear on a bible, or talk to God. It is not racist to ignore race. It is racist to promote race. Publicly funded wildlife protection is a failure, but farming is incredibly successful. No farm animal is an endangered species. Kneeling in support of racism is not healthy. Standing for God and country can be motivating. Donald Trump got over 74 million votes from people we knew existed, and saw at rallies. Biden's votes did not seem to come from any known source, and he is not as popular as Obama was. Obama belongs in jail for the Russia Hoax and his work to undermine the 2020 election too. Obama started a new cld war because he was deficient in foreign policy. Trump has miraculously achieved what Obama could not, in Israel, NK, Iran, Syria and the United States.

There are two side stories to election fraud that I'm surprised no one is talking about. Biden in 2020 and Kevin Rudd in 2007. Both situations had had tremendous voter suppression played by mainstream media. Biden was too weak relative to Trump, and so the fraud was obvious because too much ground had to be made up. Kevin Rudd was aided by Malcolm Turnbull's betrayal of the Liberal Party of Australia, resulting from the failure of Peter Costello to campaign for the leadership from Mr Howard. But the media are ignoring corruption efforts by Biden and Rudd which they ought to question.

With Joe Biden, he was VP and had special interests in Ukraine on 17th July 2014 when MH17 was shot down by Russian separatist forces. As the separatists reported the accident to Moscow, US signals intelligence picked up the chatter. The question has never been asked publicly, why was a civilian aircraft targeted? And, why was US signals intelligence so quick in intercepting that particular signal? The answer lies with Ukraine's problem with Russian separatists shooting down their military aircraft, killing many troops. Someone decided that Ukraine could paint their military aircraft with radio civilian identifiers. This trained the separatists to ignore civilian identifiers, and so tragedy resulted. Only the tragedy was not unexpected by Ukraine, who failed to warn Malaysia that Ukraine was a war zone. US signals intelligence were prepared to capitalise on the tragedy. Is the media protecting Biden and Ukraine from war crimes inquiry?

In '07, Kevin Rudd bragged he had special contacts within Australian defence forces which would address problems he claimed Mr Howard had failed. One issue Rudd identified was Timor's rebel leader, Alfredo Reinado. Reinado had had some training in Australia and Rudd was convinced he could stop him where Howard had not. Soon, after Rudd became PM, on 11th February 2008, Reinado attempted to detain the Timorise leadership of Ramos-Horta and Gusmao, and was killed. It was soon called an assassination attempt. It looked like a bungled black ops which resulted in poisoning what had once been a good relationship between Australia and Timor. Had Kevin Rudd bungled the issue with a rushed black ops mission? My name is David Daniel Ball, and I'm here to help.

FoxNews?

I'm waiting for delayed gratification.

Giuliani: Governors Won't Give Access to Voting Machines
https://www.newsmax.com/newsmax-tv/giuliani-voting-machines/2020/12/21/id/1002646/?oRef=mixi
President Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani tells Newsmax TV his team can prove their allegations of voter fraud, but the governors of the contested states won't allow access to their voting machines.

Appearing Monday on "Spicer & Co.," Giuliani, career prosecutor and onetime mayor of New York City, told host Sean Spicer that the Trump team needs to prove only 10,000 contested votes in Arizona.

"Don't you think it's going to be pretty easy to show 10,000 noncitizens voted in Arizona?" he said. "Give me the names of the people who voted and run them against a Lexis-Nexis" search, he said. "I'll come up with 40,000 noncitizens."

"Nor will they let us look at the machines," he said. "If they didn't cheat, Sean, why won't they let us examine the machines? Why does the governor of Georgia continue to hold onto the machine the city paid $110 million for, and he refuses to let us examine them?

If President-elect Joe Biden doesn't want a cloud on his presidency, he should encourage an examination of the machines, Giuliani said.

Rudy Giuliani to Newsmax TV: Pennsylvania Lawsuit First of Many Efforts
https://www.newsmax.com/newsmax-tv/rudy-giuliani-pennsylvania-scotus-lawsuit/2020/12/21/id/1002628/?oRef=mixi
The new effort by President Donald Trump's legal team asking the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn three Pennsylvania Supreme Court decisions is just the first of many efforts to overturn what they see as a fraudulent election, Trump personal attorney Rudy Giuliani tells Newsmax TV.

"You have to go state by state," he told "Spicer & Co." host Sean Spicer on Monday, acknowledging even a victory in the case would only net 20 electoral votes — not enough to give Trump the 270 needed to secure reelection.

"I remember an old adage that I learned from baseball," Giuliani said. "When you're down by 10 runs, you can't score 10 runs on one hit. So you got to get one run at a time. So the way I look at it, we have to win one of these legislatures. I think we have three good ones to pick from: Pennsylvania, and Georgia, and Arizona."

Giuiliani said he thinks his team has demonstrated enough fraud in any of those cases – "that the state legislature has a very, very strong basis to make a determination the election in those three states were stolen."

The state legislatures are the final arbiters, he said, under the U.S. Constitution, and that is why his team has been holding hearings in various legislatures to present their case the votes filed were not accurate.

Asked about a reported White House meeting in which Trump discussed appointing former Trump team lawyer Sidney Powell as a special prosecutor to investigate election fraud — as story Trump has called "fake news" — Giuliani said:
"Let me say definitively: Sidney Powell is not part of our legal team. She hasn't been for five weeks. She is not a special counsel for the president. She does not speak for the president, nor does she speak for the administration. She speaks for herself. And she's a fine woman, a fine lawyer. But whatever she is talking about it's her own opinion. I'm not responsible for them. The president isn't, nor is anybody else on our legal team."
He added, he and the team will be "extremely aggressive" in their fight, but added, "We're also going to do it within the bounds of rationality, common sense, and the law."

O'Chanukah o'Chanukah 2008

'Twas the night before Chanukah...
Oy! What a shock!
Somebody outside
Was picking our lock!

And there at the door
Stood a 'Zayda' in blue-
And he wore on his kupp
A blue yarmulka, too!

His punim was shain-
Everybody would love it!
'Round his neck hung a chain
With a gold Mogen Dovid!

He wore silken tsitzes
Beneath his wool vest,
And a small flag of Israel
Was draped on his chest!

He said: "I'm no burglar,
So please don't be nervous.
I'm the spirit of Chanukah,
Here at our service!"

"Menchen all call me
'Reb' Shalom Shapiro!
Without me, this Yom Tov
Might need a new 'hero!'"

"I visit all yidlach,
And bring - kinnahorra-
Good fortune as bright
As a glowing menorah!"

"Ich shlepp lots of blessings
And Chanukah gelt,
And joys that are takka
The best in der velt!"

"If you know nice menchen,
I'll visit them quick,
And I'll bring them gezunt
And a houseful of glick!"

So we sent him to your house,
And shook hands and parted.
He shouted, "Shalom!"
Out the doorway he darted!

He ran to a wagon
With horses ahead.
He fed them some bagels,
And here's what he said:

"Let's go, Moish and Mendel!
Make quick, Moe and Yussle!
Please give a rush, Malkah!
Hey, Hymie, please hustle!"

Then they raced like the wind!
And they galloped so shnell,
All his clothing blew off,
And his gatkes as well!

Soon he was so kalt
That his tushie turned bluish!
He moaned and he hollered
In English and Jewish!

So, don't act embarrassed,
And please don't be rude
When that frostbitten Zayda
Arrives in the nude!

Quick! Wrap him in blankets!
Don't beat 'round the bush'!
And tie a hot water bag
On his cold tush!

Quick! Feed him some chicken soup
Heiss as can be!
And give him some schnapps
And a glez'l hot tea!

'Cause he brings you a houseful
Of Chanukah wishes
As warm and geshmock
As plate of hot knishes!

And he brings them from our house
So friendly and bright,
So your house will keep glowing
With Chanukah light.

Plus joy sweet as tsukker,
And peace and good-cheer
And everything fraylach
Each day of the year!

And none in your family
Will be a shlemazel,
For life will bring each of you
Simchas and mazel!

And all through the future
Your hopes will come true,
And himmel will bless
Your mishpocha and you!!!

Don't give up on hope. I feel joy tonight as a young girl I know has been made school captain of her Primary School. It is a tremendous honour. It is also her mother's birthday, and that has been the best gift ever. The mother is Asian and very hopeful of her daughter's educational achievement. It is hope.

Hope and despair are entwined. Yesterday a former Afghan refugee who became an Australian citizen drove at peak hour commuters, pedestrians and injured many. By his side was another Afghan refugee who was armed with multiple knives. They had claimed the attack was in response to what was happening to their people. Press are agonising over what to call the attack. Press can't call it terrorism as the duo were not connected to terrorists. The extremist position possessed by the two is disseminated by the mainstream press. Fake News had a mosque being bombed by Trump. He didn't. It is almost as if the press want terrorism. Then a former Australian of the Year claims that mental illness is epidemic in Melbourne where the attack took place. But evidence places that mental illness squarely among ALP members who oppose effective policing and believe in AGW to the detriment of responsible government. Also a large number of ice users welcomed under failed Harm Minimisation.

IS has lost. Trump defeated them after Obama fed them. There is no reason to support terror. No one is insulting Islam except Islamists who bring Islam into disrepute, and those who hate being hurt by extremist Islamists. Maybe the duo will claim they were motivated by Trump moving the US embassy to Jerusalem? According to Turnbull and Bishop through their voting position on the UN, that can happen.

The December IPA Review is out and journalist Deborah Sims writes of her cancer journey "How Red Tape Almost Killed Me." Deborah has CLL, a form of Leukemia which is particularly deadly. A drug which can cure it has been developed in her home town of Melbourne. Only she needed to spend over $500k flying to London to access the drug because of red tape. If she hadn't had London connections, or if she had not had the resources, she would now be dead. Many people die each year because they aren't privileged, and they are held down by red tape. Red tape created by the likes of Bob Brown and other Greens leaders, or ALP leaders. Red tape that conservatives want to cut. It is ironic that a journalist has had to pay such a high price. But they are blessed to not pay higher. I know a former Marine with CLL who now lives in Australia. He is not privileged, and so red tape will prevent him receiving appropriate treatment. But he is also a child of God, and a fitness fanatic, and he has apparently gone into spontaneous remission. His form was not as severe as Deborah's had been. It can strike anyone. The issue was made personal for me recently when some new medication I take which is effective with diabetes is not discounted by PBS. Luckily I can afford it.

Red tape irritates me. I created a video for my landlord, of his children at a school play. So he can give it to relatives. I uploaded it to FaceBook to let him see it, and restricted it to only the closest friends. But FB noticed the school production included proprietary music and would not let me upload the file until I could prove I had the rights to the music. I've also found out my six year tussle with youtube over Adsence has been answered by them. They have decided they cannot promote my site, although they have advertised on it for free for years. Also my singing songs acapella has been deemed to breach musician copyright on youtube in some instances. Some people expecting original artists will be very disappointed. a 1946 movie I sourced images from for a friend's video has been deemed a breach of copyright, even though the film has had such protection removed by time. I can contest these alleged breaches, but I haven't the resources. And if I fail, the cost is very high. At least some of the alleged breaches are from a now dead artist from iCompositions who disliked my politics and targeted me for posting on AGW hysteria. Would Deborah care about that? Why can't conservatives fight the issue better? Why do Libertarians tend to go for balance and support oppressors, sometimes? Why do Greens and ALP get away with it?

Christmas approaches, pregnant with meaning, different to different people. Even among Christian faithful there is divergence of opinion. A lot of people are not Christian, and yet the day is laden with meaning. There is a yearning for peace, for good will, for family and for love. And it is dissatisfying to many who don't possess such. Or don't feel they do. And the weight of expectation is heavy. It is close to the time celebrated by Pagans in the Northern hemisphere in times long past. Some say that that discredits the Christian celebrations, but no. There is nothing wrong with the celebration and that is from a Christian perspective. Joy is good. And so is wisdom. Have joy. Express love. And do so with knowledge that with tomorrow, life goes on, intensifies and grows. Please don't get drunk or dysfunctionally high. Because that robs you of your future. In some places, it is against the law to celebrate Christmas or party. But as the doctor said to the guy who broke his arm in two places, "don't go to those places."

For some, at the moment, the Sex Party has more credibility.
From 2014
Channel 9 slimes PM for his greatest achievement for women. Lisa Wilkinson was the interviewer. She had tried to smear NSW Premier Baird recently with a gotcha. She did the same here with her partisan approach and the PM's reply was one which no reasonable person would condemn. Carried on all news networks, Wilkinson asked the PM her question. He reasonably replied that cutting the useless carbon tax gave back money to families and he was proud of that. Wilkinson claimed it was a gaffe, that somehow Mr Abbott had a women problem. The other day, following the siege in Sydney, Wilkinson attacked Premier Baird asking why he wasn't doing something that is the job of public servants. It is a mistake to get defensive, and Baird handled it superbly, but Wilkinson comes across as partisan as her silly husband.

Wilkinson had wanted the PM and Premier to answer defensively, neither of them did, but her technique has been successful elsewhere with the media .. denialism. Wilkinson ignored that she had had reasonable answers and proceeded as if she had not. It is, as Blair discusses, related to jihadism and Islam. Around the world, there is a practiced denialism that refuses to accept that jihadism has committed an atrocity. Perhaps as in the case of a driver in France calling out "Allahu Akbar" while driving into a crowd of people and injuring eleven. It is an act of terrorism, but it also masks the fact it is a crime even if Islam were not involved. Islam is the pretext that 'excuses' any criminal activity. Man Monis asked for an ISIL flag, but clearly Monis had not been certain what one was and where to get one. Apparently there are some fifty such flags in NSW where it is illegal to have such a terrorist item. Monis had not been well connected with those he was purporting to represent. Same too with Wilkinson, who claims she is fair and balanced, when she is in fact partisan.

Denialism excuses terror. Press, in denying the obvious reality, search for something else, as when some terrorists killed over 130 children recently, wrapping up with "We've killed the children, what next?" Media gave their 'reason' as being revenge for a drone attack. Which is utter rubbish even if there had been a drone attack or several. Killing those children did not achieve any end. The drone attacks had not been a reason. It was terrorism. And Islamic clerics who approve the pretexts approve the terror. As does the complicit media.

But denialism does not merely pervade jihadism and reporting of terrorism. The ALP who with their union connections practice corruption and denialism supports them too. Gillard practiced denialism when faced with clear evidence of her corrupt practice. She insisted she should be judged from a lower standard. And the ABC practiced denialism by not reporting the corruption they saw. The snigger regarding WMD in Iraq is still given by international press aware that the WMD were found and had been used on Syrians before being collected by the UN and examined. Press had been aware of WMD being present in Iraq as early as 2005.

Meanwhile Monis' proudly jihadist wife has had her bail revoked. It turns out NSW ALP leader Robertson had supported Monis when Monis had written offensive letters to widows of soldiers. Robertson declared why he supported a jihadist a few years ago. "My staff do not have the capacity to do Google checks..." NSW Opposition Leader, John Robertson said.that sounds right. He has accurately described their standard. Blair discusses misunderstandings. They can happen. Perhaps Robertson misunderstood why he was supporting a jihadist who had threatened war widows. It can happen. But more likely, there was corruption involved. Robertson did the unthinkable because of policy which was higher.

Lisa Oldfield attacked by taxi driver, molested. The driver was not registered as they were supposed to be. They will be identified. Lisa had gone to a Christmas function and had had a drink, so she caught a taxi rather than drive. And she dozed off on the journey. She awakened to the hands of the driver molesting her, leaving strong bruises. Because the driver had disconnected their electronic signature, it is apparent they planned their opportunistic attack. It doesn't have to be terrorism to be wrong.

Crikey readers support ISIL over the PM according to Crikey poll. Not doubting the accuracy of the poll, it says much about Crikey readers. They probably support BBL04 Perth Scorchers.
From 2013
Tweeting has gotten some people in trouble. Sometimes the controversy is concocted and inflated, as with Duck Dynasty. Sometimes it is just a highly lauded idiot being themselves, as with a former PR-exec going to Africa. One hopes she enjoyed her stay. Words have power. Used by wise people, words can build and create hope where there is none, when all seems lost. Such is the case when a dying woman left some letters, to be read after she died. But, words can be badly used. I have pointed this out many times to many people. If you use hatred to make a point, you probably aren't making it well. It would be wrong of me not to say so. One person so advised by me accused me of being dictatorial. I deleted some posts based on published guidelines. That isn't censorship. Censorship is what you get when you can't post good ideas .. or any ideas ..

Piers has a strong opinion on Christians being killed for their faith. But that does not worry me as much as innocent people being killed indiscriminately so as to scare others. The faith of the victim is not important. The faith of the abusers is debatable. Nero felt he was persecuting atheists when he persecuted Christians. That didn't make his ideas worthwhile. A sherif in England denied safe passage to several families a thousand years ago, and so they were lynched. It would have been a cowardly crime at the time, and is considered one today, except where the UN approves the mayhem. Christians are not assured of a great life in the world. It just highlights an important thing. President Bush was wise to defend US interests in Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama is wrong to abrogate responsibility. A weak President is a bad one, internationally, a weak President is a disaster. Obama is unlikely to tweet himself out of trouble.

Today's Old Testament reading: Micah 4-5

The Mountain of the LORD
1 In the last days
the mountain of the LORD’s temple will be established
as the highest of the mountains;
it will be exalted above the hills,
and peoples will stream to it.
2 Many nations will come and say,
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,
to the temple of the God of Jacob.
He will teach us his ways,
so that we may walk in his paths.”
The law will go out from Zion,
the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
3 He will judge between many peoples
and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide.
They will beat their swords into plowshares
and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not take up sword against nation,
nor will they train for war anymore.
4 Everyone will sit under their own vine
and under their own fig tree,
and no one will make them afraid,
for the LORD Almighty has spoken.
5 All the nations may walk
in the name of their gods,
but we will walk in the name of the LORD
our God for ever and ever....

Today's New Testament reading: Revelation 12

The Woman and the Dragon
1 A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. 2 She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. 3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. 4 Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. 5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.” And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. 6 The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days....

Morning

"Yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant."
2 Samuel 23:5
This covenant is divine in its origin. "He hath made with me an everlasting covenant." Oh that great word He ! Stop, my soul. God, the everlasting Father, has positively made a covenant with thee; yes, that God who spake the world into existence by a word; he, stooping from his majesty, takes hold of thy hand and makes a covenant with thee. Is it not a deed, the stupendous condescension of which might ravish our hearts forever if we could really understand it? "HE hath made with me a covenant." A king has not made a covenant with me--that were somewhat; but the Prince of the kings of the earth, Shaddai, the Lord All-sufficient, the Jehovah of ages, the everlasting Elohim, "He hath made with me an everlasting covenant." But notice, it is particular in its application. "Yet hath he made with me an everlasting covenant." Here lies the sweetness of it to each believer. It is nought for me that he made peace for the world; I want to know whether he made peace for me! It is little that he hath made a covenant, I want to know whether he has made a covenant with me. Blessed is the assurance that he hath made a covenant with me! If God the Holy Ghost gives me assurance of this, then his salvation is mine, his heart is mine, he himself is mine--he is my God.
This covenant is everlasting in its duration. An everlasting covenant means a covenant which had no beginning, and which shall never, never end. How sweet amidst all the uncertainties of life, to know that "the foundation of the Lord standeth sure," and to have God's own promise, "My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips." Like dying David, I will sing of this, even though my house be not so with God as my heart desireth.

Evening

"I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod thee with badgers' skin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I covered thee with silk."
Ezekiel 16:10
See with what matchless generosity the Lord provides for his people's apparel. They are so arrayed that the divine skill is seen producing an unrivalled broidered work, in which every attribute takes its part and every divine beauty is revealed. No art like the art displayed in our salvation, no cunning workmanship like that beheld in the righteousness of the saints. Justification has engrossed learned pens in all ages of the church, and will be the theme of admiration in eternity. God has indeed "curiously wrought it." With all this elaboration there is mingled utility and durability, comparable to our being shod with badgers' skins. The animal here meant is unknown, but its skin covered the tabernacle, and formed one of the finest and strongest leathers known. The righteousness which is of God by faith endureth forever, and he who is shod with this divine preparation will tread the desert safely, and may even set his foot upon the lion and the adder. Purity and dignity of our holy vesture are brought out in the fine linen. When the Lord sanctifies his people, they are clad as priests in pure white; not the snow itself excels them; they are in the eyes of men and angels fair to look upon, and even in the Lord's eyes they are without spot. Meanwhile the royal apparel is delicate and rich as silk. No expense is spared, no beauty withheld, no daintiness denied.
What, then? Is there no inference from this? Surely there is gratitude to be felt and joy to be expressed. Come, my heart, refuse not thy evening hallelujah! Tune thy pipes! Touch thy chords!
"Strangely, my soul, art thou arrayed
By the Great Sacred Three!
In sweetest harmony of praise

Let all thy powers agree."

I am a decent man and don't care for the abuse given me. I created a video raising awareness of anti police feeling among western communities. I chose the senseless killing of Nicola Cotton, a Louisiana policewoman who joined post Katrina, to highlight the issue. I did this in order to get an income after having been illegally blacklisted from work in NSW for being a whistleblower. I have not done anything wrong. Local council appointees refused to endorse my work, so I did it for free. Youtube's Adsence refused to allow me to profit from their marketing it. Meanwhile, I am hostage to abysmal political leadership and hopeless journalists. My shopfront has opened on Facebook.

I am publishing a book called Bread of Life: January.

Bread of Life is a daily bible quote with a layman's understanding of the meaning. I give one quote for each day, and also a series of personal stories illustrating key concepts eg Who is God? What is a miracle? Why is there tragedy?

January is the first of the anticipated year-long work of thirteen books. One for each month and the whole year. It costs to publish. It (Kindle version) should retail at about $2US online, but the paperback version would cost more, according to production cost.If you have a heart for giving, I fundraise at gofund.me/27tkwuc (Gofundme finished the fund raiser, 2017)

Editorials will appear in the "History in a Year by the Conservative Voice" series, starting with August, September, October, or at Amazon http://www.amazon.com/dp/1482020262/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_dVHPub0MQKDZ4 The kindle version is cheaper, but the soft back version allows a free kindle version.
