My name is David Daniel Ball and I am Voice DDB dot locals dot com a voice of freedom supporting freedom around the world for all peoples. I write on historical and current affairs. In 211, Publius Septimius Geta, co-emperor of Rome, was lured to come without his bodyguards to meet his brother Marcus Aurelius Antoninus (Caracalla), to discuss a possible reconciliation. Who will be left for Democrats after Obama, Biden, HRC, Schiff, Warren and Pelosi are prosecuted for their Russia Collusion Hoax? What will be left of the FBI and DOJ after Mueller, Comey et al are prosecuted for their collusion? Dan Bongino discusses the explosive exposure of how Russia has had HRC emails from her illegal server in which HRC tried to deflect from her exposure by blaming President Trump. What of the powerful tech business allies of HRC who colluded to get Biden elected President? How will FB, Google, youtube and Twitter be affected? Will their CEO's escape jail time? What of CNN? NBCNews?, CBSNews? FoxNews?

https://rumble.com/vbzwhf-editorial-december-19th-2020-dandenong-conservative.htmlI'm waiting for delayed gratification. T45 may well be the greatest President USA has had, based on analysis of achievements to date. He fixed a broken economy. He achieved peace by not going to war. He commandeered initiative in science and tech. He worked for all constituents, not the corrupt few which his opponents focused on.

Opposition to T45 has been substantially larger than for any previous President. The Russia Hoax dominated (swamped) his Presidency. Treasonous activity by tech giants and social elite have persecuted T45. Partly, that was at T45's behest because he was an outsider to Washington. Trump has walked a path others have not because opposition to outsiders is fierce. Including from within his own party, with RINO members part of the swamp.

Trump won re-election in terms of votes cast in record numbers. The swamp is trying to steal it from him. The swamp are abusing legal avenues to prevent analysis of their illegal activity. What will happen when it is decided that has not worked? How many people will the swamp kill to protect their 'interests'? In order to protect the union, SCOTUS has not acted prematurely. It is up to state legislatures to do the right thing. How will RINO affect the outcome of those state legislature? Will RINO break the union to support the swamp?

Don't give up on hope. IS has been defeated thanks in part to Donald Trump. Obama only fed IS. Obama never won a war. Without Obama, IS was toppled. Also thanks to Egypt opposing Muslim Brotherhood and Putin opposing IS even while Obama was feeding them. To be fair, IS could have been sons of Obama. Meanwhile in Pakistan a mosque has a US and an Israeli flag positioned on the floor for people to walk over. Westboro Baptist used to pull such stunts and was despised by Christians for it. Where are Muslims complaining about Muslims that bring Islam into disrepute? Now, a head of a state that NATO relies on, Turkey's Erdogan, has called on Israel's destruction. Were NATO responsive, they should sideline Turkey for such outrageous behaviour.

It is twenty years since Titanic was first released as a motion picture. To celebrate, Turnbull rearranges the deck chairs of ministerial positions. Instead of bringing an effective politician like Abbott in, Turnbull promotes known gaff ridden members and blames Barnaby Joyce for dropping a Victorian. The Victorian, Darren Chester, had held infrastructure and Victoria gets some 9.5% of infrastructure despite having 25% of the population. To be fair, Victoria would get more infrastructure if they were more responsible. But Victoria in the last year, since budget, has tossed away $29 billion on infrastructure costs that were not budgeted. Even as they failed to spend to build things properly. They dug up Yarra using shallow tunnels when deeper ones would not have inconvenienced everyone. And the extra cost would have been $500 million of an $11 billion budget, now grown to $13 billion. Is ALP worse than Turnbull? Will we ever know for sure? Turnbull survived Bennelong. Liberals would be smoking ruins if Turnbull lost it, and he might have with his dithering and gaffs. Only a smoking ruin will shift Turnbull?

The December IPA Review is out and opens with a Chris Berg editorial on the US Presidential election. I respect Berg, but disagree with his emphasis on things, but I represent myself, and he fronts the IPA and so his choices are more proscribed. For example, Berg was previously unflattering of Trump as a candidate, describing Trump as being the worst of GOP candidates and the least likely to beat Clinton. Only that is not what was evidenced by the election. Clinton’s support network could well have gotten her the election had she faced anyone else. What Trump had was broad popular support from a silent (silenced by media) majority. But he only got it at the end of the campaign. People lied outrageously during the campaign to promote Hillary and diminish Trump. One such liar is Shorten. Shorten made outrageous claims about people who supported Trump and what Trump will do as President. So does Berg. Berg backhandedly lauds Shorten for claiming to have learned from Trump’s win by demanding changes be made to 457 VISA. Another liar Berg backhands is Turnbull who openly supported Hillary and denounced candidate Trump. Now Turnbull claims Trump’s victory’s lesson is that Australia is better off focusing on jobs and growth. But if Turnbull was serious about that he would bring back Work Choices and promote free speech.

Berg then misrepresents Trump’s success by claiming it will be ameliorated by GOP ascendancy. Berg mischaracterises Trump’s trade diplomacy of tariffs on China, and tearing up NAFTA and TPP. There are bad deals for the US. Trump wants to institute good deals. A good deal for a TPP is much better than the thing Obama has strangled. Not to diminish the Abbott government’s work on free trade, free trade is important. Too important to leave a bad deal when a better one is achievable. Tariffs are counter productive, but then so is Chinese intransigence and poor ethics as a global citizen. A strong President can get China to behave, and then all will profit. And Tariffs are a starting negotiating point. If China wants to hurt herself, she can.

Berg is also wrong to say Australia is at a stalemate since the Coalition narrowly won the last federal election. Turnbull squandered a strong lead. Abbott had lined up a strong possibility of a conservative senate, the first since 2007. But Abbott had strong policy goals, while Turnbull offers inertia. Turnbull can only humiliate himself until he resigns in disgrace. Or, Turnbull can damage conservative government with his bed wetting accomplices.

Foolish independent Senator Lambie says Greens are like ISIS. But the facts don't stack up. Greens don't throw gays off rooftops or crucify Christians. And the behaviours of the Greens, what is similar to ISIS? Greens have their own diet. Greens collect in enclaves and don't assimilate well. Greens demand others be like them. Greens dismiss secular authority and claim to serve a higher purpose than any court. Greens want to raise their children their way. Greens want other children raised their way. Greens are extremely violent, particularly youthful ones and prone to damaging property while openly despising Western values. Green politicians don't follow a Green agenda but seem to follow the secret agenda that violent youthful Greens follow. Green leaders are impotent in the face of their followers violent expression. They say Greens are peaceful but don't reject Green violence. Impotent Green leaders blame the West for Green violence. Greens want to lower the age of consent.  Greens are lenient on sexual deviants. Where more than 5% of the population turns Green then they try to institute their own laws. Green refugees are said to include violent Green radicals trying to sponge off welfare states. Greens support no border policies which are responsible for the deaths of many and have many poor people exploited by piracy. Greens have invaded Europe and ruined it. Greens take over a billion dollars a day from the world's poorest and spend it on supporting their own billionaires. Greens are mainly atheist but claim they are profoundly religious. I have Green friends that are just like you or me and nothing like the above, most Greens aren't violent. Greens seem inspired by Communism and Socialism. Nothing like ISIS or jihadis. Meanwhile Australian PM Malcolm Turnbull is sad that Japan is legally allowed to hunt whales and wants to stop it, even if it means breaking the law? It is said Prince Charles favours Greens over Christians.

For some, at the moment, the Sex Party has more credibility.

Security in a modern nation is partly built on the illusion that things are impossible and unthinkable. As with killing 148 school children or holding a cafe with staff and customers hostage. There is no way such a thing should happen because it doesn't achieve anything worthwhile. The response to such activity would be firm and final by any decent person aware of it. But since Palestinian terrorists in the late '60s began committing such atrocities the illusion of security has evaporated in places. US has prided itself that domestic terrorism was too hard to commit because somebody would speak up. And yet the World Trade Centre was hit twice, and Oklahoma and the Boston marathon bombing occurred catching authorities by surprise when people had not spoken loudly enough to be heard. The US has been exposed to terrorism domestically.

There is a myth in medical research that more money will solve any problem. There is an element of truth to that, but sometimes it isn't the case. Aids research in the mid '80s had many laboratories around the world duplicating research. In that instance research was slowed because duplication does not promote diversity in research. The successful Western world has had a technological advantage for several hundred years because brilliant scholars weren't chained to old ideas, as duplication does. In the United States duplication and not diversification has promoted terrorism. It isn't that people have not spoken out as they were supposed to. It is that authorities could not hear them because of the chaff that claimed other similar or worse threats elsewhere. Consider the pilot trainer who warned authorities of a suspicious character who did not need to learn how to land a plane? Or of those who led authorities to the jihadist who couldn't suicide on 9/11 because he had been arrested? Israel has successfully combated terrorism since before she was a state, but she has had failures to. But successful methods preventing terror are actually opposed by some very influential people who lie to get people killed. Should Israel build a defensive wall? Should Israel security forces racially profile? Should Israel defend herself with disproportionate force? The same questions get asked in the US with the same effect, making it easier for terrorists to strike.

At the moment, the champion of politics of division is President Obama. Obama has funded terrorists directly through aid programs (e.g. Hamas), indirectly through negligent failure to appropriately use security forces (e.g. Benghazi), through rhetoric which divides the nation (e.g. black deaths from resisting arrest) and through abuse of power which employs people to abuse tax office investigative powers or legal privilege. The result is terrorism is easier now than it was before. Australia has a similar brigade of people who undermine the nation to make terrorism easier. Weakening border protection to make people smuggling profitable meant deaths from drowning and exploitation of some desperate people. Meanwhile, refugees in camps around the world are left in a limbo, having years of their lives placed on hold. Police and media restrict themselves from appropriately describing offenders. It makes policing more difficult which makes it more dangerous for others.

The competing theory, much as there are competing parties in democracy, places promotion of minorities at odds with promotion of cultural assets. If one promotes a cultural asset everyone benefits. If one promotes a minority, most people lose. Minorities do better too, when cultural assets are supported and the whole of society grows. And so, while there is no reason to kill 148 schoolchildren, one was given, and it scans for those who promote division. But for those who promote cultural assets, it makes no sense. It is worth looking at recent cases to see if there is a promotion of minorities which harms society, or a promotion of cultural assets which promotes cultural growth and benefits everyone:
  • Bludjahideen .. refugee program rorted and exposing Australia to danger
  • Child killers in Afghanistan
  • 8 children dead .. siblings in Cairns, 34 yo mother, eldest child is 20.
  • Fairfax blames Abbott for not saving Australia from Monis.
In other news;
  • Sinodinos quits allowing a reshuffle of cabinet in Australia. Sinodinos has not been shown to do anything wrong, but the ICAC have tried to get themselves dismantled before they completely tear apart the ALP for corruption. They will report in March in a cynical attempt to influence the electoral cycle, as it is near the state election.
  • Royal commission .. Gillard lied .. now demands apology. Gillard is upset she was called a liar when she had lied.
  • Clive Palmer's senior media advisor arrested in Indonesia. Palmer calls it a political stunt. The charges are serious and not connected to government but police investigating a crime.
  • Lambie wants to be talked to. She has declared she will oppose everything, but is now expressing hurt that people aren't discussing things with her.

Left wing argue using abuse. Often, they will lay down a few false statements and then build on them. So, a lefty arguing about politics in Australia, with the recent change of government, might say they hate Tony Abbott and are disgusted by him. They will say he isn't popular and he hates poor people. They will say he wants to make workers get paid less and rich people to get paid more. But the reality is very different to what they claim initially, and so an attempt to dispute any of their false assertions results in them back tracking to "You can't trust any of them." In fact Mr Abbott is a compassionate, friendly man. He is trying to improve the economy so that all prosper through honest work. It is pragmatic to encourage savings and investment because that drives growth. On the other hand, ALP politics is driven by hate and envy with a touch of cynicism. The ALP agenda is to tax poor working people and reward rich union leaders. So it is worth reading Blair's column on Van Badham's tweets. I ask my self the question "So how do others feel about a left wing party like the ALP moving to make anti semitism legal? Does that ever turn out well?"

We have hope. It is incumbent on us to win back the freedom denied us. And to protect that freedom. We will do that democratically. We will take back our legislature. We will get our courts to return to protecting our constitution.

I have lost everything several times. And yet here I am. Behind me is an Australian flag and a MAGA cap. On my MAGA cap is an American flag. I will die, one day. But, I pledge allegiance to the flag (of Australia and) the United States of America. And to the republics for which they stand. One nation. Indivisible. Under God. With liberty, and justice, for all.

We are being lied to. But not by everyone. Our nations and their justice machinery are not broken, but damaged. Things are bad, but they are supposed to be bad, rather than merely breaking. We can't give up. We must reject the liars, and remove them from public office, and prosecute them lawfully. Things can get better, but we must persevere or risk losing hope. We must not fight the Devil by playing the Devil's game. Rather we must resist the Devil by being free. There is no law against doing what is right. Their utter depravity kills us. They target us and they seek to restrain us. But while the greatest among us a hundred years ago has died, their legacy has not. That which we are, we are. Lockdowns were ineffective in dealing with COVID. Effective medication has been denied whole populations. Herd immunity will prevail. Fraud deleteriously affected recent elections around the world. But, Democracy will prevail. Our oppressors will pass. For us to win, we must assert our freedoms. For us to lose, we must willingly surrender our freedoms forever. Our children will have to pay back our debt. We must sacrifice now so that they can. That means telling truth to power. That means pointing up when when some get confused and lose their way. Stand by the one who sacrificed their pension and freedoms to speak out. Prosecute the ones forgiven by a debauched and self interested administration. Vote for those who help you exercise your freedom. Don't wait for free speech. Exercise free speech.

Intro to Locals.com

My name is David Daniel Ball I'm a teacher with three decades experience teaching math to high school kids.I also work with first graders and kids in between first grade and high school. I know the legends of why Hypatia's dad is remembered through his contribution to Math theory. And I know the legend of why followers of Godel had thought he had disproved God's existence.

I'm not a preacher, but I am a Christian who has written over 28 books all of which include some reference to my faith. Twelve blog books on world history and current affairs, detailing world events , births and marriages on each day of the year, organised by month. Twelve books on the background to and history of Bible Quotes. One Bible quote per day for a year. An intro to a science fiction series I'm planning, post apocalyptic cyber punk. An autobiography with short story collections.

I'm known in Australia for my failure as a whistleblower over the negligence death of a school boy. I had reported the issue responsibly and had not known I'd blown the whistle. The embarrassed left wing government had responded by imposition of a nationwide ban on the use of peanut butter in canteens, despite failing to address the issue of peanut allergy appropriately.

I've been de-platformed on Facebook and twitter despite not being an activist. Twitter did not like me asking for Obama to face justice in 2011. FB gave no specific reason for removing me following Jan 6th 2021 in Washington DC where a policeman killed an unarmed woman, so a crowd would know he was in control.

From the Bible, Revelation 10

The Angel and the Little Scroll

Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was robed in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were like fiery pillars. He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, and he gave a loud shout like the roar of a lion. When he shouted, the voices of the seven thunders spoke. And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down.”

Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven. And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, “There will be no more delay! But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”

Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me once more: “Go, take the scroll that lies open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.”

So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, “Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, but ‘in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.’” I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it. It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour. Then I was told, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings.”

God is love message for new charges

My name is David Daniel Ball. Professionally, I’m a math teacher. But I’m here today because I love God, wish to serve God and God is moving in my life. I’m rich, but I don’t have monetary wealth. I’m not here for myself, but I hope that I can show you who God is in my life, and who He may be in your life. I’m going to ask you to read the letters from John, in the Bible. Not right now, but later. Maybe you will read them prayerfully on your own. Maybe you will read them and share them in fellowship. As you do so, I want you to remember an often misunderstood statement: “God is love.”

God is love.

I was raised as an atheist by parents who trained me to distrust God and spit in His eye. People could tell me about God and I could tell them why they were stupid. God cannot build a bridge He could not cross. That is a language creation designed to exploit ultimates. An infinitely strong deity who can create all things, must be able to create anything. Including a bridge that cannot be crossed. And be able to cross that bridge, meaning they could not build that bridge. Such a God could not possibly exist.

God is love.

God is love is an expression used by God’s enemies to discredit God. The puritan Cromwell, leading his Ironsides as Lord Protector of England over 400 years ago had a siege cannon at Ireland’s town of Drogheda with the words on the cannon’s lips. The cannon broke the defences and Cromwell ordered no quarter given to the inhabitants.

God is love.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a Christian who stood up to Hitler’s Nazis and policy. He wasn’t violent. He spoke persuasively. He was faithful to God and so Hitler ordered him killed. Dietrich could have recanted publicly, and kept his views private, like others did. But Dietrich stood on conscience.

God is love.

God is love. I cannot tell you precisely what those words mean to you. I can share a bit of what they mean to me. I was weak after I first became a Christian. I was angry. I achieved much with hubris. And I found enemies, because I looked for enemies, not for friends. In anger, I made enemies at work, and at home. But there are things I wanted in my life I could not get from enemies. I had not understood God is Love.

God is love.

There are things I wanted in my life and they never happened. I could point the finger at others, but it was because I was so angry. I wanted family. I wanted a career. I wanted to build things and to be able to look back with satisfaction at my personal achievements, or those of my family. And every opportunity passed.

God is love.

God is love. He gave me things I wanted. But, not in a traditional order. After I lost my career, I was using social media and happened on a foreign girl wanting help with English. I worked with her online, encouraging her to come to Australia and go to university here. She needed a little help, and someone to share her journey. And for a time, I could call Tammy ‘my daughter.’ And now she has a degree, a good man as a husband and she has started her family. God is love.

God is love.

I had wanted to raise children, to be there when they were vulnerable, and point the way to God. I was living in a share house and an Ice addict went berserk and wanted to kill me. A stranger I met on social media invited me to rent a room in his home. I spent some five years with his young family. I did not have skills I needed to work with young kids. But they taught me. And now I dream of the day I can share stories with them when they are adults.

God is love.

After reading the bible, I read it again. Then I read it aloud and shared the video on Youtube. Then Rumble after Youtube shadow banned me. Then I found 365 common bible quotes and wrote about the background and history to them. I wanted to find out about God.

God is love.

I was driven to understand who God is after a dream I had had as an atheist child. It was one of those dreams where you feel you can fly or float. And I felt beset by evil. But, I entered a sanctuary, stone cave. I found a throne room and behind the throne room I sensed loved ones from my family I had never known, and a sister who had passed a year earlier. I begged God, whom I realised had authority, to stay. And he said I had not yet known him, but he would send me back for when I would know Him. God is love

God is love.

My sister, Pam, had died of natural causes, but as a younger girl I’d hurt her terribly. Dinner was being cooked in the kitchen. Pam was allowed to stand on a stool and stir some potato we were boiling. I had wanted to help too, but I felt she would never let me. I grabbed the stool from beneath her, and she fell, spilling the scalding water over herself, including her foot. Doctors needed to cut away her shoe and sock and Pam had permanent scars from that tragedy I caused. What had I done to Pam? Years passed, but she got sicker from kidney disease. She was twelve years old when she was offered a transplant in 1977. In 1978, her body rejected the transplant and she knew she was dying. She asked my mother for permission, and wondered what would become of her. Mother told her she believed she would be reincarnated in a better body, that she deserved. I remember thinking that my mother did not believe that. Pam died in the evening of Valentines Day 1978, age 13 at New York’s Albert Einstein Hospital. A year later, in a dream, I felt her in heaven with God. God is love.

God is love.

God gave us life. During that time, we can choose Him. We can choose life. But our life is our time to choose. When we die, our choice is fixed. There is a bridge God cannot cross. Yet God gave us his son, Jesus. Jesus has crossed that bridge God would not. Now we live in a time where we are God’s chosen, thanks to Jesus. Our task is no longer to lead blameless lives for His salvation, but to accept Jesus into our lives and through our embrace of Jesus, our choices become possible to obtain salvation, which is eternal life with God. Not that God welcomes our sin (a bridge he will not cross), but God will accept that which Jesus allows through his sacrifice on the cross.

God is love

I do not know what that means to you. But, I exhort you to read those three letters from John. And remember, God is love.

U.S. Senator Joe Manchin, a moderate Democrat who is key to President Joe Biden's hopes of passing a $2 trillion domestic investment bill, said on Sunday he would not support the package. "I cannot vote to continue with this piece of legislation," Manchin said Sunday. "I just can't. I have tried everything humanly possible." The comments drew immediate outrage from liberal Democrats. [Full Story]

Here is a video I made "It Had to Be You"
"It Had to Be You" is a popular song written by Isham Jones with lyrics by Gus Kahn, and was first published in 1924. The song was performed by Priscilla Lane in the 1939 film The Roaring Twenties and by Danny Thomas in the 1951 film I'll See You in My Dreams. The latter film was based loosely upon the lives of Gus Kahn and his wife Grace LeBoy Kahn. It was also performed by Dooley Wilson in the 1942 film Casablanca, Betty Hutton in the 1945 film Incendiary Blonde, and by Diane Keaton in the 1977 film Annie Hall. It was also performed in the film A League of Their Own by Megan Cavanagh. === This lovely lady posted the piano on iCompositions, calling herself lil mom. http://www.icompositions.com/artists/lilmom

There are two side stories to election fraud that I'm surprised no one is talking about. Biden in 2020 and Kevin Rudd in 2007. Both situations had had tremendous voter suppression played by mainstream media. Biden was too weak relative to Trump, and so the fraud was obvious because too much ground had to be made up. Kevin Rudd was aided by Malcolm Turnbull's betrayal of the Liberal Party of Australia, resulting from the failure of Peter Costello to campaign for the leadership from Mr Howard. But the media are ignoring corruption efforts by Biden and Rudd which they ought to question.

With Joe Biden, he was VP and had special interests in Ukraine on 17th July 2014 when MH17 was shot down by Russian separatist forces. As the separatists reported the accident to Moscow, US signals intelligence picked up the chatter. The question has never been asked publicly, why was a civilian aircraft targeted? And, why was US signals intelligence so quick in intercepting that particular signal? The answer lies with Ukraine's problem with Russian separatists shooting down their military aircraft, killing many troops. Someone decided that Ukraine could paint their military aircraft with radio civilian identifiers. This trained the separatists to ignore civilian identifiers, and so tragedy resulted. Only the tragedy was not unexpected by Ukraine, who failed to warn Malaysia that Ukraine was a war zone. US signals intelligence were prepared to capitalise on the tragedy. Is the media protecting Biden and Ukraine from war crimes inquiry?

In '07, Kevin Rudd bragged he had special contacts within Australian defence forces which would address problems he claimed Mr Howard had failed. One issue Rudd identified was Timor's rebel leader, Alfredo Reinado. Reinado had had some training in Australia and Rudd was convinced he could stop him where Howard had not. Soon, after Rudd became PM, on 11th February 2008, Reinado attempted to detain the Timorise leadership of Ramos-Horta and Gusmao, and was killed. It was soon called an assassination attempt. It looked like a bungled black ops which resulted in poisoning what had once been a good relationship between Australia and Timor. Had Kevin Rudd bungled the issue with a rushed black ops mission? My name is David Daniel Ball, and I'm here to help.

FoxNews?

I'm waiting for delayed gratification.

A Quora question asked for the worst death ever. Almost any death can be pointless. It is not hard to find ones that are tragic. But worst cases are not grade-able. They are uniquely awful. And little is in them for redemption. Such was the case for school child Junko Furuta in 1989. The seventeen year old schoolgirl was coming home from work at 8:30pm. Meanwhile some young Yakuza underlings were looking for a girl to rape. They had done that many times before. Having had Yakuza 'training' or some knowledge of what was necessary to protect themselves from police surveillance, they used a three card trick to get Junko. One knocked her off her bike and ran away. Another ran to her aid and offered to walk her home. Then betrayed her by leading her to a warehouse and raping her. Junko was abducted for some 44 days before her body was found in a concrete laden barrel. She had been alive most of that time, tortured and gang raped repeatedly until she begged for death, and tortured some more. Some 100 people in the community had known what was happening to her in that time. After 16 days, police were warned to go to the residence she was held captive. But when the boys offered to let them search, they declined. Had she been saved then, she might have recovered from her injuries. I won't go into her torture, it is available online. When the boys were finally caught for what they had done, they were sentenced as youths. All are free now, and their identities are protected by court orders.

Terrible deaths do not compare. What finally led to the death of Junko was her beating the 'boys' at a game of Mahjong. She was already unrecognisable from the pretty schoolgirl they had abducted, her injuries meant she had lost control of her bowels and kidneys and could no longer eat or drink. They said they had lost interest in her as a sex object. But they did not just kill her, they tortured her until she died. And when they were caught, it was because police were looking for another they had raped, and another who was missing in an as yet unsolved case. And the 'boys' thought each other had confessed.

What of the deaths of Joan of Arc, Hypatia, Martin Luther King, Ann Frank or Jesus? Only Jesus' death offered redemption. But how is that rewarded when servants of Jesus take that for granted, and don't serve? Christmas is approaching as another holy time ends. For Jews, Hanukkah finishes tonight. The miracle of the light. Hundreds of years of suffering following the destruction of the temple, soldiers of Israel crushed Hellenised Jews and rededicated the temple for worshipping God. Some 2200 years later, still some so called Messianic Jews are distracting Jewish peoples from their worship. Without sufficient oil for the dedication purpose, yet even so, the light burned for 8 days. Just as today, the light burns for faithful Jews everywhere in the world. Erdogan has called for the destruction of Israel. But Erdogan will be no more, while Israel will yet prosper. The miracle of the light.

The December IPA Review is out and includes a Scott Hargreaves and Daniel Wild article on Trump's America. IPA criticism of candidate Trump was weak and these weak allegations are included in the current analysis or the analysts would be admitting their mistake. They are wrong to label Trump and Pence protectionist and liable to tear up free trade. They will want to improve free trade, and are willing to tear up the bad regulations to achieve it. To do so, they will have to get past Australia's resistance to free trade. Malcolm Turnbull has all the agility of a stone at sea. And that is our conservative government leader. Meanwhile, Trump will be clever and agile by lowering tax and improving efficiency by cutting regulation. There is a lot of awful regulation to cut. Ideological opposition to cheap energy is going to be replaced with a 'can do' leader. But despite all the effectiveness of Campbell Newman in Queensland, Turnbull effectively engineered a one term administration through undermining. Trump has to watch out for friends like the IPA wanting to be right, rather than effective.

The German President had a photo opportunity at a German school with refugees. The idea was to show that refugees were becoming German in their own idiosyncratic ways. One graceless separatist schoolgirl refused to shake hands with the President. She later argued her hubris was based on the idea she wouldn't shake hands with an outsider. Only the German head of state is not an outsider. Neither was he asking her for sex or her hand in marriage. He was not going to deny her family her bridal price. He is deserving of respect and the handshake is older than writing as a form of agreement. The photo opportunity became deeply symbolic as elsewhere two terrorists drove a truck into a crowd of Christmas shoppers. That schoolgirl is fit to shake the hands of those refugees. But while they were refugees, they are also terrorists. That schoolgirl does not know it, but she has symbolically linked herself to ISIS. And the press will cheer as they use her to attack Merkel. Meanwhile ISIS and Erdogan have apparently conspired to kill a Russian ambassador. A story is told how, under Jimmy Carter, some US generals were captured, tortured and killed by Hezbollah in Lebanon. A Soviet envoy was also captured by Hezbollah. The Soviets captured the brother of the Hezbollah leader, killed and castrated him, and sent his balls in a paper bag to the Hezbollah leader. The Soviet envoy was released unharmed. Expect Putin's response to be proportionate.

Obama has successfully framed the US foreign policy debate, even though he has failed abysmally. Former Secretary of State Clinton claims that nothing works and the best that can be done is to minimise damage while horse trading. The GOP front runner, Trump, who is said to "say what others think" has unworkable slogans that offend many. Two GOP ideas people, Cruz and Rubio put forward the debate from within the former Bush administration which is low in public perception. Cruz embraces Dem rhetoric in saying that the US has no business in toppling dictators like Assad. Cruz is keen to only act when it supports US interests, and feels that no one is beneficial in the fractured state of Syria. Rubio, alternatively, feels the promotion of dignity through democracy is the best policy. Some claim that Obama's successful takedown of Iraqi Democracy with Iran is an example of why Democracy cannot work in the Middle East. But Israel is a powerful example of Rubio's position. To win in the Middle East, one needs to support Israel, and dismantle Obama's Cold War policy. But the press love failed Democrat policy, and point to Trump being populist.

For some, at the moment, the Sex Party has more credibility.
From 2014
Obama 'faces' press and chooses to only answer questions from women. It isn't as if men don't vote for him. But because more women support him, men don't matter to him. It makes a statement about division and sexism in politics. Obama is not a uniter, but like former Australian PM, Rudd, Obama is like Zelig. Faced with a Jewish Audience, Obama declared he had a Jewish Soul. So does Jonathan Pollard, but only one of them faithfully served Israel. Obama hosted a dinner for those who jailed the Nobel Peace Prize the year after Obama was awarded one. Maybe Obama should free Pollard before women notice that.

Obama used his press conference to outline his agenda under the new congress. He will talk about a sensible, broad, flat rate tax, but then the IRS would not be able to persecute people he doesn't like. Obama criticised Sony for pulling the film The Interview when it turns out it was a non decision after theatres had pulled it first. Cuba won't change much, he anticipates, but he expects to fight congress over the trade embargo. Obama won't allow Canada to profit from oil trade if he can avoid it.

The Guardian fails to get facts right in an assault on the Telegraph. Murdoch owns the Telegraph so the Guardian can make outrageous lies about coverage of the Sydney Siege, suggesting Telegraph misreported facts for political reasons, when that is exactly what the Guardian had done. Usually the Guardian spins facts, but this time they didn't use the inconvenient things.

Boston bomber accused to face court. Symbols against the establishment, or mere terrorism? Whomever the terrorist is there is clearly support for them, which is absurd. There may be thoughts behind terrorism, but there certainly is not reason.

Should Gillard be given undue weight for credit for being PM? She has told a royal commission she should be treated better than those she lied to and stole from. The presiding judge has said

… there is virtually no evidence of Julia Gillard’s good reputation and character beyond that which is to be inferred from her status as a former Prime Minister …
He then continues
This is a mystifying submission. It is a dangerous submission …
If some such presumption were adopted, it would always be the case that the powerful, the celebrated and the successful will have undue advantages over the weak, the obscure and those of moderate achievement. Then would be the time to ask the question: ‘Little man, what now?’ It is a strange submission to be advanced on behalf of a former politician belonging to the Australian Labor Party tradition – a tradition of social democracy.

Akerman is the latest to claim that Mr Abbott is not really a conservative for some of his appointments and decisions. However, the criticism is thin. It is true that the appointment of Natasha Stott Despoja to a girl's body is weak. But it is hardly an important position. At worst, Despoja will do a bad job and the body gets wound up. At best, the body does nothing worthwhile and doesn't cost much. The danger with appointing a conservative to the position is that they might try to be effective. Despoja knows how to be a useless parasite. This way any failure is not fully owned by the LNP. The danger of fully divorcing left wing from decision making can be seen with President George Bush (jr) in his first term. His decision making was confident and his decisions were good, but he was harangued by Democrats who had no responsibility in their decision making. So Obama and Clinton could make all sorts of claims which simply weren't true. An example of decision making without responsibility is Van Badham.

SBS fell for a criminal who claimed to be bad. But he was really a pumpkin. Or a step sister with big feet .. or something. Marketing for Manus as a sex worker gets filmed. Paul Keating is best heard while pretending classical music is playing in the back ground, ala God Father. Keating describes the job losses in the car industry as 'liberation' for workers. I view it as union parasites killing a viable industry.   Warmist hysteria has channel 9 opening news on heat wave in summer. I respectfully point out that had a Bradfield scheme been implemented, it would not be happening. The hot air is coming from a dry outback baked by sun. Give that outback fresh water and the heat is diminished from the water body ..

Today's Old Testament reading: Jonah 1-4

Jonah Flees From the LORD
1 The word of the LORD came to Jonah son of Amittai: 2 “Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me.”
3 But Jonah ran away from the LORD and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the LORD.
4 Then the LORD sent a great wind on the sea, and such a violent storm arose that the ship threatened to break up. 5 All the sailors were afraid and each cried out to his own god. And they threw the cargo into the sea to lighten the ship.
But Jonah had gone below deck, where he lay down and fell into a deep sleep. 6 The captain went to him and said, “How can you sleep? Get up and call on your god! Maybe he will take notice of us so that we will not perish....”

Today's New Testament reading: Revelation 10

The Angel and the Little Scroll
1 Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was robed in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were like fiery pillars. 2 He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, 3 and he gave a loud shout like the roar of a lion. When he shouted, the voices of the seven thunders spoke. 4And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down.”
5 Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven. 6 And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, “There will be no more delay! 7 But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets....”

Morning

"The lot is cast into the lap, but the whole disposing thereof is of the Lord."
Proverbs 16:33
If the disposal of the lot is the Lord's whose is the arrangement of our whole life? If the simple casting of a lot is guided by him, how much more the events of our entire life--especially when we are told by our blessed Saviour: "The very hairs of your head are all numbered: not a sparrow falleth to the ground without your Father." It would bring a holy calm over your mind, dear friend, if you were always to remember this. It would so relieve your mind from anxiety, that you would be the better able to walk in patience, quiet, and cheerfulness as a Christian should. When a man is anxious he cannot pray with faith; when he is troubled about the world, he cannot serve his Master, his thoughts are serving himself. If you would "seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness," all things would then be added unto you. You are meddling with Christ's business, and neglecting your own when you fret about your lot and circumstances. You have been trying "providing" work and forgetting that it is yours to obey. Be wise and attend to the obeying, and let Christ manage the providing. Come and survey your Father's storehouse, and ask whether he will let you starve while he has laid up so great an abundance in his garner? Look at his heart of mercy; see if that can ever prove unkind! Look at his inscrutable wisdom; see if that will ever be at fault. Above all, look up to Jesus Christ your Intercessor, and ask yourself, while he pleads, can your Father deal ungraciously with you? If he remembers even sparrows, will he forget one of the least of his poor children? "Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he will sustain thee. He will never suffer the righteous to be moved."
My soul, rest happy in thy low estate,
Nor hope nor wish to be esteem'd or great;
To take the impress of the Will Divine,
Be that thy glory, and those riches thine.

Evening

"And there was no more sea."
Revelation 21:1

Scarcely could we rejoice at the thought of losing the glorious old ocean: the new heavens and the new earth are none the fairer to our imagination, if, indeed, literally there is to be no great and wide sea, with its gleaming waves and shelly shores. Is not the text to be read as a metaphor, tinged with the prejudice with which the Oriental mind universally regarded the sea in the olden times? A real physical world without a sea it is mournful to imagine, it would be an iron ring without the sapphire which made it precious. There must be a spiritual meaning here. In the new dispensation there will be no division--the sea separates nations and sunders peoples from each other. To John in Patmos the deep waters were like prison walls, shutting him out from his brethren and his work: there shall be no such barriers in the world to come. Leagues of rolling billows lie between us and many a kinsman whom tonight we prayerfully remember, but in the bright world to which we go there shall be unbroken fellowship for all the redeemed family. In this sense there shall be no more sea. The sea is the emblem of change; with its ebbs and flows, its glassy smoothness and its mountainous billows, its gentle murmurs and its tumultuous roarings, it is never long the same. Slave of the fickle winds and the changeful moon, its instability is proverbial. In this mortal state we have too much of this; earth is constant only in her inconstancy, but in the heavenly state all mournful change shall be unknown, and with it all fear of storm to wreck our hopes and drown our joys. The sea of glass glows with a glory unbroken by a wave. No tempest howls along the peaceful shores of paradise. Soon shall we reach that happy land where partings, and changes, and storms shall be ended! Jesus will waft us there. Are we in him or not? This is the grand question.

I am a decent man and don't care for the abuse given me. I created a video raising awareness of anti police feeling among western communities. I chose the senseless killing of Nicola Cotton, a Louisiana policewoman who joined post Katrina, to highlight the issue. I did this in order to get an income after having been illegally blacklisted from work in NSW for being a whistleblower. I have not done anything wrong. Local council appointees refused to endorse my work, so I did it for free. Youtube's Adsence refused to allow me to profit from their marketing it. Meanwhile, I am hostage to abysmal political leadership and hopeless journalists. My shopfront has opened on Facebook.

I am publishing a book called Bread of Life: January.

Bread of Life is a daily bible quote with a layman's understanding of the meaning. I give one quote for each day, and also a series of personal stories illustrating key concepts eg Who is God? What is a miracle? Why is there tragedy?

January is the first of the anticipated year-long work of thirteen books. One for each month and the whole year. It costs to publish. It (Kindle version) should retail at about $2US online, but the paperback version would cost more, according to production cost.If you have a heart for giving, I fundraise at gofund.me/27tkwuc (Gofundme finished the fund raiser, 2017)
