Labor’s phoney Green row

For a brief moment last weekend it seemed as if Labor was going to act responsibly and ditch its Green partners but it all proved to be just another Labor stunt.

Labor’s NSW general secretary, Sam Dastyari, had told The Weekend Australian he would move a motion at this weekend’s NSW Labor conference urging the party to consider preferencing the Greens last at the federal election.

His motion will call on Labor to ‘’no longer provide the Greens party automatic preferential treatment in any future preference negotiations’’.

Dastyari even branded the Greens ‘’extremists not unlike One Nation’’ and said it was time to ‘’redefine the relationship’’.

An obesity vaccine has been developed that uses the immune system to keep the body slim.

THE "flab jab" has shown promising early results in mouse studies.

If the vaccine passes further safety trials, scientists believe it could provide a revolutionary new weapon against obesity.

Currently the only non-dieting options for controlling weight are surgery and strong drugs that can have serious side effects.

The vaccine works by stimulating the immune system to attack a hormone that promotes slow metabolism and weight gain.
