Fields of Gold

Barbara Hansen was a colleague that was worked to death by some of the abusers who prompted me to resign a few years ago from the Department of Education. She was a diabetic single mother of two. She wanted to go visit her homeland of Poland. She worked extra hours to raise the money. Meanwhile her workplace supervisors poured extra work on her. As happens to diabetics, Barbara stroked one morning, and lingered for a few months before slipping away.
