I offer congratulations on the occasion of the arrival of Id al-Fitr
To the heroic mojahedin of the sacred trenches of Islam, to the faithful and mojahed nation of Afghanistan, and to the entire Islamic Ummah
This is the fifth Id al-Fitr during which our country has been under the aggression of the Christian crusaders. But I would still like to offer you another congratulation on this occasion: congratulation on the defeat and fleeing of the aggressors. I can categorically tell you that the stooge of the aggressive forces (Karzai) and his comrades are seeking the way of escape. But we will never give them a way of escape. We will undoubtedly bring them before an Islamic court and the power of justice of our courts is known very well to all.
Our enemy, with all its deceptive programmes, has been faced with defeat. Its deceptive formula, the pretext of democracy, has also failed. The aggressors spent billions of dollars on films and the media to defame us. In spite of all that, our Muslim nation understood the facts and the enemy propaganda failed. It is for this reason that the nation stood behind us.
The stooge administration in Kabul proved to have failed one hundred per cent in bringing about peace and tranquillity in the country, controlling narcotic substances or establishing unity in the country. It cannot bring about peace because all thieves and robbers were accepted in the armed militia of [President Hamed] Karzai.
There is no control over narcotic substances because the majority of members of Karzai's administration are smugglers of narcotics substances.
And the restoration of unity and cohesion in the country is also faced with danger as the rulers sitting in Kabul are openly engaging in efforts to disintegrate the country and create sectarian differences. The propaganda atmosphere in Kabul has also been fashioned in a way, which intends to condition the public opinion towards disintegration.
Foreign cultures and beliefs are presently ruling in Kabul. Those who are governing here in the name of Afghans are in fact themselves foreigners. This is because they have come to Afghanistan with a foreign culture and with foreign ideas and are ashamed of their own culture.
At the time of their aggression, the Russians too had installed such puppets as rulers who were Afghans in their appearance, but in reality they had no Afghan feelings or identity. The Russians, too, justified their presence, saying they had been invited by the Afghans for the purpose of the advancement of their country. The Russians also had allies, member countries of the Warsaw Pact, in the manner that NATO member countries are allies of the United States today.
I am sure, however, that the United States, despite the cooperation of NATO member countries, will be defeated in Afghanistan in the same manner that the ex - Soviet Union was defeated along with the Warsaw Pact.
Today, NATO members are allowing their soldiers to be killed in Afghanistan just for the sake of the United States. It is necessary for these NATO member countries to think about their own interests and get out of Afghanistan.
United Nations no good for Muslim world
If anyone is waiting for the United Nations to take a decision, I would like to tell them that the United Nations also failed to make any courageous decision on the occasion of the Russian aggression in Afghanistan.
Presently, the said organization is putting the stamp of approval only on those decisions which the United States makes it to do by force. The whole world thinks today that, due to the ineffectiveness and weakness of this organization, countries can protect themselves from the United States only through possessing deadly nuclear weapons. No other peaceful means are of any use. This is because of the very obvious ineffectiveness of the United Nations. This organization cannot block, and has not blocked, the way of the United States' military actions.
If we look at the history of the Islamic ummah from the time of the establishment of this organization, we will see that not a single decision by this organization has been made to the benefit of the Muslim world. So far, this organization has not played any positive role concerning Palestine, Iraq or Kashmir. And whenever it has made a positive decision, the decision has not been implemented. Thus we could say that the United Nations has no positive message for the Islamic world.
If the Islamic nation does not stand behind the mojahedin for its own defence and if it does not strengthen its own defence by itself, then they will be faced with great degradation by the anti-Islamic forces.
Those rulers of the Muslim world who are following the Americans in weakening and degrading the Muslims should understand that the United States will not be able to come to their rescue from the wrath of the Muslim nation. The hands of the Muslims would inevitably reach their necks. It is necessary for them to realize that they should abstain from deceiving the Islamic nation.
Pakistan does not support Taleban.
I once again advise my Muslim and mojahed nation to stand steadfast in the war against aggressors. You should not be deceived by enemy's hallow and unworthy propaganda. Our enemy has lost nerve and is trying to hide its anxiety. It is for this reason that the enemy is making a number of dirty allegations against the sacred ranks of the mojahedin such as that Pakistan is backing the mojahedin. You should remember that at the time of the invasion of our country, American fighting planes were flying from Pakistani airports; missiles were fired from Pakistan; the government of Pakistan handed over thousands of mojahedin to America. Also presently, all Pakistan's transport routes and airports are at the service of the American war and used for logistic supplies. Therefore, in my opinion, those who have the brain of a human being in their head, would not accept the idea that Pakistan is supporting the Taleban and nor would they even think so.
I strongly believe that [President Hamed] Karzai and his masters, too, are aware of the fact that the Taleban have no foreign supporters. However, they engage in such propaganda in order to distract the attention of the people from the strong resistance of the Afghans against foreigners and to paint with different colours their weaknesses and defeat.
Unity in ranks of command important more than ever
God willing, in the coming months the war will become many times more forceful and organized. The prediction which we made in this connection in the past proved to be right. Now I believe that the war will become forceful at a surprising level. I advise the mojahedin to remain united and ensure cohesion in their ranks so that disorder in the war command and the multiplicity of ranks, like that at the time of jihad against the Russians, will not result in the weakening of jihad.
This time, therefore, the Afghans should think seriously about keeping unity in the ranks of jihad. Another important guidance, which I would like to give to the mojahedin, is that they should make every effort during war operations to avoid inflicting harm on civilians and innocent children. They should not act in any way that could be in discord with the Shari'ah.
And also, it is necessary for the mojahedin not to differentiate in line with the schools of Feqhi [Islamic jurisdiction] between the ranks of jihad. All Muslims belonging to every school of Islamic jurisdiction are brothers to each other and there is no difference between them.
Finally, I pray for patience for all mojahedin throughout the world. I congratulate the heroic mojahedin of Iraq on their victories and pray for even more successes for them.
