"You'll remember in January last year the Student Guild at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane banned the IPA's Generation Liberty program from participating in student orientation activities on campus, because according to the Guild 'your [the IPA's] brand does not align with our values'.
The ban received nationwide media coverage as yet another demonstration of the freedom of speech crisis in our universities.
The Institute of Public Affairs and the IPA's Generation Liberty Campus Coordinator at QUT, Chris Dekker fought the ban - for the sake not only of QUT students but as a matter of principle for every student in every university and every school in Australia.
Chris lodged a complaint with the Queensland Human Rights Commission on the basis the QUT Student Guild had breached both the Queensland Anti-Discrimination Act by discriminating against him because of his political beliefs and the Queensland Human Rights Act by restricting his rights specified in the legislation including his freedom of expression, his right to peaceful assembly and freedom of association, his right to take part in public life, his freedom of thought, and his freedom of conscience.
The IPA and Chris didn't want any financial compensation from the Guild, only a public apology so that what occurred would never happen again and to set a precedent so that other student associations at other universities wouldn't attempt to do what the QUT Student Guild had done."
But it has happened again .. "The IPA's Generation Liberty program now has a presence at more than 20 Australian universities and until the actions of the QUT Student Guild last year had operated without incident as Generation Liberty held events and debates and hosted guest speakers at many different universities. What occurred at QUT is I fear a sign of the times as universities become more hostile to any ideas that challenge the prevailing left-wing orthodoxy of our tertiary institutions. After operating successfully at Monash University in Melbourne for the last few years, Generation Liberty was banned from the campus by the student association from participating in the university’s orientation activities because of the views they assume the IPA holds about climate change. We've lodged a complaint with the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission which hasn't been heard as yet, and I'll of course keep you informed of developments."

Compelling any employee to take any current Covid-19 vaccine violates federal and state law, and subjects the employer to substantial liability risk, including liability for any injury the employee may suffer from the vaccine. Many employers have reconsidered issuing such a mandate after more fruitful review with legal counsel, insurance providers, and public opinion advisors of the desires of employees and the consuming public. Three key concerns: first, while the vaccine remains unapproved by the FDA and authorized only for emergency use, federal law forbids mandating it, in accordance with the Nuremberg Code of 1947; second, the Americans with Disabilities Act proscribes, punishes and penalizes employers who invasively inquire into their employees' medical status and then treat those employees differently based on their medical status, as the many AIDS related cases of decades ago fully attest; and third, international law, Constitutional law, specific statutes and the common law of torts all forbid conditioning access to employment upon coerced, invasive medical examinations and treatment, unless the employer can fully provide objective, scientifically validated evidence of the threat from the employee and how no practicable alternative could possible suffice to mitigate such supposed public health threat and still perform the necessary essentials of employment.
At the outset, consider the "problem" being "solved" by vaccination mandates. The previously infected are better protected than the vaccinated, so why aren't they exempted? Equally, the symptomatic can be self-isolated. Hence, requiring vaccinations only addresses one risk: dangerous or deadly transmission, by the asymptomatic or pre-symptomatic employee, in the employment setting. Yet even government official Mr. Fauci admits, as scientific studies affirm, asymptomatic transmission is exceedingly and "very rare." Indeed, initial data suggests the vaccinated are just as, or even much more, likely to transmit the virus as the asymptomatic or pre-symptomatic. Hence, the vaccine solves nothing. This evidentiary limitation on any employer's decision making, aside from the legal and insurance risks of forcing vaccinations as a term of employment without any accommodation or even exception for the previously infected (and thus better protected), is the reason most employers wisely refuse to mandate the vaccine. This doesn't even address the arbitrary self-limitation of the pool of talent for the employer: why reduce your own talent pool, when many who refuse invasive inquiries or risky treatment may be amongst your most effective, efficient and profitable employees?
First, federal law prohibits any mandate of the Covid-19 vaccines as unlicensed, emergency-use-authorization-only vaccines. Subsection bbb-3(e)(1)(A)(ii)(III) of section 360 of Title 21 of the United States Code, otherwise known as the Emergency Use Authorization section of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, demands that everyone give employees the "option to accept or refuse administration" of the Covid-19 vaccine. (https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/21/360bbb-3 ) This right to refuse emergency, experimental vaccines, such as the Covid-19 vaccine, implements the internationally agreed legal requirement of Informed Consent established in the Nuremberg Code of 1947. As the Nuremberg Code established, every person must "be able to exercise free power of choice, without the intervention of any element of force, fraud, deceit, duress, overreaching, or other ulterior form of constraint or coercion; and should have sufficient knowledge and comprehension of the elements of the subject matter involved as to enable him to make an understanding and enlightened decision" for any medical experimental drug, as the Covid-19 vaccine currently is. The Nuremberg Code prohibited even the military from requiring such experimental vaccines. (Doe #1 v. Rumsfeld, 297 F.Supp.2d 119 (D.D.C. 2003).
Second, demanding employees divulge their personal medical information invades their protected right to privacy, and discriminates against them based on their perceived medical status, in contravention of the Americans with Disabilities Act. (42 USC §12112(a).) Indeed, the ADA prohibits employers from invasive inquiries about their medical status, and that includes questions about diseases and treatments for those diseases, such as vaccines. As the EEOC makes clear, an employer can only ask medical information if the employer can prove the medical information is both job-related and necessary for the business. An employer that treats an individual employee differently based on that employer’s belief the employee’s medical condition impairs the employee is discriminating against that employee based on perceived medical status disability, in contravention of the ADA. The employer must have proof that the employer cannot keep the employee, even with reasonable accommodations, before any adverse action can be taken against the employee. If the employer asserts the employee’s medical status (such as being unvaccinated against a particular disease) precludes employment, then the employer must prove that the employee poses a “safety hazard” that cannot be reduced with a reasonable accommodation. The employer must prove, with objective, scientifically validated evidence, that the employee poses a materially enhanced risk of serious harm that no reasonable accommodation could mitigate. This requires the employee's medical status cause a substantial risk of serious harm, a risk that cannot be reduced by any another means. This is a high, and difficult burden, for employers to meet. Just look at the all prior cases concerning HIV and AIDS, when employers discriminated against employees based on their perceived dangerousness, and ended up paying millions in legal fees, damages and fines.
Third, conditioning continued employment upon participating in a medical experiment and demanding disclosure of private, personal medical information, may also create employer liability under other federal and state laws, including HIPAA, FMLA, and applicable state tort law principles, including torts prohibiting and proscribing invasions of privacy and battery. Indeed, any employer mandating a vaccine is liable to their employee for any adverse event suffered by that employee. Finally, forced vaccines constitute a form of battery, and the Supreme Court long made clear "no right is more sacred than the right of every individual to the control of their own person, free from all restraint or interference of others." (https://www.law.cornell.edu/supremecourt/text/141/250)

Gabrielle Williams was appointed Parliamentary Secretary for Carers and Volunteers, working with the Minister for Housing, Disability and Ageing and the Minister for Families and Children. Some tradies are dying from a terrible disease called Silicosis. Some trades do not police the activity of their tradies as they should. OHS issues are known, but some small or DIY outfits expose others to risk factors. Local councils tend to wipe their hands of responsibility, and unions don't seem to care unless they can negotiate pay on behalf of the workers, possibly to funnel that pay to the union. However, Dan Andrews' public servants are working hard towards a "they day" to give people experience with personal pronouns that might not leap immediately to mind while dealing with strangers. For the record, I am called mister, sir, DDB or my name. If you make a mistake, it is no biggie. You can call me anything you like, except 'late for dinner.' I don't know how to address Williams because we've never met. She refused to help me when I needed assistance in 2016 when she was on study tour overseas. Her office advised me not to call the federal ALP, who also represent me, shadow Attorney General Mark Dreyfus, because they deemed my issue to be too small. An Ice addict who admitted child sex abuse had wanted to kill me and had broken into my accommodation a number of times. Known to police, they would not try to lock him up. Police refused to give me a protective order. I suspect William's advice would be to call out, loudly, "Marx" and look for the worker's revolution. Note, there is no need for a pronoun, sometimes.
As part of the November 24th Vic election campaign I have a petition I want to bring before the Opposition Leader Matthew Guy. I believe Matthew will be the next premier of Victoria and so I am petitioning him as I raise the issues of Employment, Crime and Education in Dandenong. I am also seeking money for my campaign. I don't have party resources, and so my campaign is on foot, and on the internet. Any money I receive that is not spent on the campaign will go to Grow 4 Life. I am asking questions like "What do you love about Dandenong?" and "If you could change something in Dandenong to make it better, what would it be?" I'm not limiting the questions to state issues. I'm happy to discuss anything, and get things done.
There is a cost to drug taking, wether it is legalised or not is irrelevant, there is no benefit to society or individuals from drug use. Perhaps it lowers inhibitions and is a way for the young to engage in sex early in their lives, tying in with the safe school crowd. Drugs claim lives. Teen pregnancy, drug whores, overdoses, none of those are associated with abstinence. If you are outraged with Safe Schools bullying children into premature sexual activity, you should also be concerned with Bill Shorten and Dan Andrews advocating for so called 'safe drug use.'
For some, at the moment, the Sex Party has more credibility.
The porn industry is sick and rapacious. Models may have high work satisfaction, who wouldn't enjoy those happy endings? And then there are other models who express total satisfaction. It isn't a life I would want for my children.

1969 – Vietnam War: At the apartment of French intermediary Jean Sainteny in Paris, American representative Henry Kissinger and North Vietnameserepresentative Xuân Thuỷ begin secret peace negotiations. The negotiations will eventually fail.
1974 – A bomb explodes in the Italicus Express train at San Benedetto Val di Sambro, Italy, killing 12 people and wounding 22.
1975 – The Japanese Red Army takes more than 50 hostages at the AIA Building housing several embassies in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The hostages include the U.S. consul and the Swedish Chargé d'affaires. The gunmen win the release of five imprisoned comrades and fly with them to Libya.
1977 – U.S. President Jimmy Carter signs legislation creating the United States Department of Energy.
1984 – The Republic of Upper Volta changes its name to Burkina Faso.
1987 – The Federal Communications Commission rescinds the Fairness Doctrinewhich had required radio and television stations to present controversial issues "fairly".
1991 – The Greek cruise ship MTS Oceanos sinks off the Wild Coast of South Africa.
1993 – A federal judge sentences Los Angeles Police Department officers Stacey Koonand Laurence Powell to 30 months in prison for violating motorist Rodney King's civil rights.
1995 – Operation Storm begins in Croatia.
2006 – A massacre is carried out by Sri Lankan government forces, killing 17 employees of the French INGO Action Against Hunger (known internationally as Action Contre la Faim, or ACF).
2007 – NASA's Phoenix spacecraft is launched.

I am a decent man and don't care for the abuse given me. I created a video raising awareness of anti police feeling among western communities. I chose the senseless killing of Nicola Cotton, a Louisiana policewoman who joined post Katrina, to highlight the issue. I did this in order to get an income after having been illegally blacklisted from work in NSW for being a whistleblower. I have not done anything wrong. Local council appointees refused to endorse my work, so I did it for free. Youtube's Adsence refused to allow me to profit from their marketing it. Meanwhile, I am hostage to abysmal political leadership and hopeless journalists. My shopfront has opened on Facebook.

Bread of Life is a daily bible quote with a layman's understanding of the meaning. I give one quote for each day, and also a series of personal stories illustrating key concepts eg Who is God? What is a miracle? Why is there tragedy?
January is the first of the anticipated year-long work of thirteen books. One for each month and the whole year. It costs to publish.
