Sun 14th November 2021 Current Affairs

My name is David Daniel Ball and I am Voice DDB dot locals dot com a voice of freedom supporting freedom around the world for all peoples. I write on historical and current affairs. I look for the conservative voice where mainstream media eschews it. Around the world media espouses liberalism orthodoxy and proclaims a history of liberalism that never happened. Liberalism of today is based on repeated lies that have been accepted from the past.

Consider these recent truths

There is hope. Today we have the gloomy subject matter of the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, nearing an end, and, the ongoing Presidency of Joe Biden, and, the ongoing corruption of the FBI. And yet there is hope.

This week saw the defense mistake of placing Rittenhouse on the stand and giving a corrupt Prosecution carte blanche to lie. A desperate, exposed judge fought valiantly to preserve justice while Rittenhouse was betrayed by those charged to defend him, and denounced by those charged with upholding justice denied Rittenhouse. Along the way, we heard the Presidential candidate Joe Biden call Rittenhouse a white supremacist. We discovered the riot which forced Rittenhouse to act in self defence was a machination of the FBI to facilitate a coup which was part of the 2020 election fraud. What did Biden achieve by calling Rittenhouse a white supremacist? What did the FBI achieve by facilitating a murderous riot?

The press have not told you. They largely, have not reported on aspects of the Rittenhouse trial shown publicly. Rittenhouse acted in self defence. Three times he needed to apply deadly force that night, before he managed to secure safety from a local police armed response group acting as neutral observers. A longstanding Democrat, the local mayor has been among those persecuting Rittenhouse who prevented rioters from setting fire to a gas station and blowing up a neighbourhood. We saw Rittenhouse attacked thanks in part to FBI surveillance which seemed to be keeping tabs on their operatives running amok. Rittenhouse was kicked in the face and he did not kill the unidentified assailant. Rittenhouse was assaulted and a now dead man tried to take Rittenhouse’ gun. The chief persecutor asked why Rittenhouse brought a gun, saying it was merely to kill rioters. One guesses that that is what the persecutor would have done. Rittenhouse used it to defend his life from those who charged and assailed him. One assailant, who survived because Rittenhouse is not some mere killer, charged Rittenhouse and raised his gun to him before Rittenhouse shot him, disabling him from killing Rittenhouse.That surviving assailant has demanded ten million dollars for his testimony. Following his testimony, mainstream media lauded him and wrote of his resilience and interviewed him as a victim and survivor.

Those who know Rittenhouse is innocent of murder through self defence can see that that is the fact, in the trial. But, what of those who believe Rittenhouse is a white supremacist who brought a gun to a ‘peaceful’ riot? The chief persecutor is sticking to script. By ignoring law and focusing what divides Americans, the persecutor is merely doing the job given him by the likes of Joe Biden . Biden did not call Rittenhouse a white supremacist because Rittenhouse is racist. Rittenhouse is not racist. Biden is racist, but that is not the reason for the policy statement. A narrative is being painted to convince actual racists that Rittenhouse should be persecuted. And, we saw on the stand a lone, undefended boy, having a panic attack as bothe his defence and the persecutor publicly assailed and denied him succour. Rittenhouse is innocent, but he may still be convicted by jury. He is still fighting for his life.

Some are saying Joe Biden is the worst President ever. It is not a competition. Biden is mounting a strong argument for the accolade, and he is not yet done. But, an unseemly parade of awful precedes him. What of the claims of Johnson who ended reconstruction and established resistance to freedom through the KKK? What of person who facilitated modern poverty and inequity through their new deal, exploiting Americans by race and gifting them single, unemployed parents? What of the guy who nuked a civilian population twice? What of the guy who restarted a cold war to solve the policy vacuum created by their poor foreign policy?

Some are saying the FBI must be disbanded because they facilitated a violent coup. But then, what was Watergate? Why was Weather Underground protected by the FBI? What is the FBI’s role in the drug distribution networks and the faux arms management crises that sees cities like Boston and Detroit vie for the epithet ‘murder capitals.’?

Biden looks awful because Trump is so good. But also Carter and Reagan played similar roles. I liken the problem with fighting the Devil. Don’t do it. In fighting the Devil, one may well dance to the Devil’s tune. Instead, hold to the Lord. The Lord has already defeated the Devil, and the only future the Devil has is in a black pit of despair, eternally separated from God. But, that is not your future if you hold to the Lord.

We have hope. It is incumbent on us to win back the freedom denied us. And to protect that freedom. We will do that democratically. We will take back our legislature. We will get our courts to return to protecting our constitution.

I have lost everything several times. And yet here I am. Behind me is an Australian flag and a MAGA cap. On my MAGA cap is an American flag. I will die, one day. But, I pledge allegiance to the flag (of Australia and) the United States of America. And to the republics for which they stand. One nation. Indivisible. Under God. With liberty, and justice, for all.

We are being lied to. But not by everyone. Our nations and their justice machinery are not broken, but damaged. Things are bad, but they are supposed to be bad, rather than merely breaking. We can't give up. We must reject the liars, and remove them from public office, and prosecute them lawfully. Things can get better, but we must persevere or risk losing hope. We must not fight the Devil by playing the Devil's game. Rather we must resist the Devil by being free. There is no law against doing what is right. Their utter depravity kills us. They target us and they seek to restrain us. But while the greatest among us a hundred years ago has died, their legacy has not. That which we are, we are. Lockdowns were ineffective in dealing with COVID. Effective medication has been denied whole populations. Herd immunity will prevail. Fraud deleteriously affected recent elections around the world. But, Democracy will prevail. Our oppressors will pass. For us to win, we must assert our freedoms. For us to lose, we must willingly surrender our freedoms forever. Our children will have to pay back our debt. We must sacrifice now so that they can. That means telling truth to power. That means pointing up when when some get confused and lose their way. Stand by the one who sacrificed their pension and freedoms to speak out. Prosecute the ones forgiven by a debauched and self interested administration. Vote for those who help you exercise your freedom. Don't wait for free speech. Exercise free speech.

Intro to Locals.com

My name is David Daniel Ball I'm a teacher with three decades experience teaching math to high school kids.I also work with first graders and kids in between first grade and high school. I know the legends of why Hypatia's dad is remembered through his contribution to Math theory. And I know the legend of why followers of Godel had thought he had disproved God's existence.

I'm not a preacher, but I am a Christian who has written over 28 books all of which include some reference to my faith. Twelve blog books on world history and current affairs, detailing world events , births and marriages on each day of the year, organised by month. Twelve books on the background to and history of Bible Quotes. One Bible quote per day for a year. An intro to a science fiction series I'm planning, post apocalyptic cyber punk. An autobiography with short story collections.

I'm known in Australia for my failure as a whistleblower over the negligence death of a school boy. I had reported the issue responsibly and had not known I'd blown the whistle. The embarrassed left wing government had responded by imposition of a nationwide ban on the use of peanut butter in canteens, despite failing to address the issue of peanut allergy appropriately.

I've been de-platformed on Facebook and twitter despite not being an activist. Twitter did not like me asking for Obama to face justice in 2011. FB gave no specific reason for removing me following Jan 6th 2021 in Washington DC where a policeman killed an unarmed woman, so a crowd would know he was in control.

From the Bible, Hebrews 10:1-18

Christ’s Sacrifice Once for All

The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship. Otherwise, would they not have stopped being offered? For the worshipers would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have felt guilty for their sins. But those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins. It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said:

“Sacrifice and offering you did not desire,
    but a body you prepared for me;
with burnt offerings and sin offerings
    you were not pleased.
Then I said, ‘Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll—
    I have come to do your will, my God.’”

First he said, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them”—though they were offered in accordance with the law. Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.” He sets aside the first to establish the second. And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, and since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool. For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.

The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says:

“This is the covenant I will make with them
    after that time, says the Lord.
I will put my laws in their hearts,
    and I will write them on their minds.”

Then he adds:

“Their sins and lawless acts
    I will remember no more.”

And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary.

Father please, I have nothing to give. I love you. I worship you. I need to show I care. I give you the song I keep in my heart. I give you the dreams I have in my heart I live, so that I may give it all to you. Father, thanks. For all I have to share. My home and my family. Stand in worship. Stand"

=== From 2020 ===

It is apparent that Dems committed fraud to steal the 2020 election. They may well have done similar in 2016. In 2016, Fox declared Pennsylvania early to HRC. The demand was made for Trump to concede. Trump won in 2016, but it surprised the establishment that did similar in their voter suppression as they have done in 2020. HRC had organised a victory party, but blessed marching vagina instead. Even her book did not say what happened. Trump has been very good at mobilising ordinary, decent Americans to support him in numbers greater than any GOP ever. Trump does not court race, or gender, like his racist, bigoted opposition have. Yet Trump has extraordinary minority support for a GOP, possibly the highest since Eleanor Roosevelt courted the Black vote as her husband exploited them. The Dem voting pattern and issues echo the Obama wins too. How long have Dems been using these fraudulent methods to obtain votes? Did they use them to bodgy the 2006 mid terms? It is not that the mysterious support of vapour for Dems is so clearly fraudulent, but, other than violent rioters, and #FakeNews, where is their support, really? How come there is no policy platform for Democrats? Why does Big Tech have to censor the truth? How many millions of Trump supporting votes have been given to Biden? The corruption is so apparent, and so pervasive, that if Trump concedes 2020, he will be conceding all elections that follow, and the flame of liberty will be extinguished in America.

Don't give up on hope. Former NSW Premier Kristina Keneally is running against Tennis Great John Alexander for John Howard's old seat of Bennelong. Alexander has been a good politician that has represented his constituents well. Keneally has no accomplishments beyond image. Keneally is niece of celebrated writer Tom Keneally and is an insider of corrupt NSW ALP politics. I have never known her to be competent on any issue. When She lost her Premiership in NSW, the 17% swing was the largest in Australian political history. Kristina has claimed she has taken due diligence regarding her citizenship status. She was born in USA, but renounced her USA citizenship. Alexander was born in Australia and had no need to renounce his citizenship until retrospective laws were introduced over which he never had a say. The laws of the UK are designed to prevent a holocaust, but instead they are just mere tools of socialists who would never do anything to help the oppressed, unless they agreed with them on everything.

 Trump Jr has released all three of his emails responding to Wikileaks requests before or during the 2016 election campaign. Nothing about them suggests collusion with Russia to fix an election.

It turns out I was right from the time I embraced Trump's campaign after he took the GOP. I had backed Cruze. I felt Clinton was running dead and had no momentum. I felt Trump had plenty of momentum, despite the manufactured outrage at his saying rude things eleven years ago. I was uncertain the morning of the election. I had predicted a Reagan level landslide and all the press, including Sky and Fox were predicting a Clinton win. I knew the swing states Trump needed. Florida was doubtful early. Fox awarded Pennsylvania to Clinton early. I went for a long walk, and when I got back, there were talks that Pennsylvania may have been called too early. Clinton was on 202 and Trump in 220's but it looked like Hillary had not yet had California counted for her, or Washington or Hawaii. But they had been part of her count. My friend had bet on Trump and was thinking of a last minute hedge on Hillary. But why was she having $5.50 offered for her if she was going to get California? Then $7.50. It dawned us, and I dared to hope. The swing states were going to Trump. Fox wouldn't call for Trump early. By the time the Clinton campaign manager announced nothing it was clear every media outlet had been wrong, and the partisan ones were embarrassed. Trump had had momentum, while Clinton stood on her inertia. Reagan had not achieved both houses to go with the White House. Obama has gifted him most of the GOP governors, most of the states with GOP legislature and remarkable Presidential powers never before given a GOP President.

IPA Review (Nov 2016) features a Morgan Begg article “The Repeal of Section 18c” about the section of the 1975 Racial Discrimination Act. Begg is thorough and outlines the recent history, the QUT case, raises the issue of the process being punishment, talks of senators backing reform and the growing support for change. Only it won’t happen in the near future as ALP, Greens and NXT have a lock in the senate and oppose free speech. Also, the PM, Malcolm Turnbull, does not seem to value it at all. Too many people have backed the wrong horse for effective measures to be made. There is hope, but the hope is predicated on Turnbull not being PM, Bishop not being Deputy PM and ALP voting in public interest, not self interest. The hope is very faint.

Paris has been attacked. The French President was escorted away from an assault on the football stadium that had hosted France vs Germany. France had won the friendly 2-0. A concert was attacked and several cafes. Approximately 160 are dead, as well as some seven jihadists. In the early Sabath hours, Obama had declared ISIL was broken and beaten. And then the assault on Paris happened and Obama promised to stand with France. Already, some are excusing the depraved assaults as being to do with foreign policy. The terrorists don't like fighting. One notable terrorist responsible for filmed beheadings is thought to have been droned to death earlier in the day. But the suicide assaults would have required months of planning. Soon the jihadis bodies will be identified. Were they illegal refugees? Were they natural French radicalised by permissive schooling? Many will blame President Bush or even the prescient Tony Abbott. But part of the reason will actually be the abysmal President Hollande who marched with those supporting the killers of Charlie Hebdo on religious grounds.

For some, at the moment, the Sex Party has more credibility.

 What costume is racism?
Racism at a party is prevented by a single complaint by a disinterested party? Sydney University's Mexican themed Christmas party, which might safely have been thought a-religious has had the theme cancelled after an Australian born Argentinian ethnic complained. But it isn't as if everyone's voice is equal. The complainant was an office-bearer with the university’s Autonomous Collective Against Racism. It might have been better all around to not have invited them.

“I am Hispanic and I have some traditions from Mexican culture and the vice-chancellor’s invite said ‘bring your own sombreros and ponchos’, which reduces Mexican culture to just a costume,” Mr Caceda said.

“My family has a poncho and it is really important to us, and these people are treating it like a costume.” So, his family, which isn't Mexican, wears that costume sometimes. But never for fun.

What costume is Lambie?
Lambie has said she won't lie to the Australian electorate. Which PUP is she claiming has lied to the electorate? What was the issue? She should come clean, or pass all the budget measures she is blocking. Lambie won't resign and Palmer won't sack her. His is the immovable ass. She is the irresistible farce.

A green costume
Greens applaud the empty statement of a lame duck. A weaker US at no cost to Beijing. It is very hard being Green at the moment. A sixteen year pause in global warming, excessive increases in plant food despite taxation, and the IPCC incapable of releasing an explanation for it. Tim Flannery squealed with delight when he heard the Lame Duck say it. Meanwhile a Green Senator desperate to capitalise on Ebola suffering asked for permission to go to West Africa and be chauffeured around by Australian embassy officials. Julie Bishop refused, but allowed him to get his own insurance and go against government advice. Interestingly, before the Lame Duck quacked, both Greens and ALP leaders said they would oppose America in institutions. Shorten would fight in the universities. Milne would reposition the armies.

A faith costume
It is deeply concerning that Muslims around the world are seemingly unaware that Islamo fascism is not aligned with their faith. In Holland, a survey of 300 Turkish migrants has had a 80% response rate indicating that it is ok to engage in holy war against non believers. But then the education systems around the West seem to say that education does not mean critically evaluating issues. Australia has not done, as UK has done, and cancelled the passports of jihadis abroad. Possibly because the senate would block it?

The resignation of Kevin Rudd is not the end of the damage he has inflicted in office. It is a betrayal of trust those who voted for him, or the Greens, placed in him in early September. Famously, Rudd takes on the concerns of those that surround him, with no guarantee of follow through. Rudd claims he saved furniture. He leaves open wounds weeping and no end in sight. Will a gang raped girl ever receive justice after Rudd ordered the shredding of evidence of her case? Will Australia exceed the debt limit established by the ALP in government? In between, there is the betrayal of Aboriginal peoples diminished through divisive race debate when previously there had been bipartisan support. The death of soldiers used for political ends. The assassination and attempted abduction of Timorise leaders. I don't want Rudd's furniture. It is ill fitting, cheap and dangerous.

Part of the furniture Rudd leaves behind is accused of rape. We don't know who, but assume it is male and Victorian. It is an accusation, not a conviction. It is an unknown ALP 'soldier.' It is one of them, done to all of us .. it seems Keating's words can be useful. But they don't really belong to Keating.

As Rudd leaves, there are whispers of the worst storm of all time. No one knows where that storm is, but a tragically powerful storm took on the Philippines recently as powerful as any in the last few years, doing a lot of damage and killing many people. Please help support them. Give generously.

Historical perspective on this day
In 1770,  James Bruce discovered what he believed to be the source of the Nile. Today's Old Testament reading: Lamentations 1-2

1 How deserted lies the city,
once so full of people!
How like a widow is she,
who once was great among the nations!
She who was queen among the provinces
has now become a slave.
2 Bitterly she weeps at night,
tears are on her cheeks.
Among all her lovers
there is no one to comfort her.
All her friends have betrayed her;
they have become her enemies.

3 After affliction and harsh labor,
Judah has gone into exile.
She dwells among the nations;
she finds no resting place.
All who pursue her have overtaken her
in the midst of her distress.
4 The roads to Zion mourn,
for no one comes to her appointed festivals.
All her gateways are desolate,
her priests groan,
her young women grieve,
and she is in bitter anguish.
Her foes have become her masters;
her enemies are at ease.
The LORD has brought her grief
because of her many sins.
Her children have gone into exile,
captive before the foe.

Today's New Testament reading: Hebrews 10:1-18

Christ’s Sacrifice Once for All
1 The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship. 2Otherwise, would they not have stopped being offered? For the worshipers would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have felt guilty for their sins. 3 But those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins. 4 It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
5 Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said:
“Sacrifice and offering you did not desire,
but a body you prepared for me;
6 with burnt offerings and sin offerings
you were not pleased.
7 Then I said, ‘Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll—
I have come to do your will, my God.’”
8 First he said, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them”—though they were offered in accordance with the law. 9Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.” He sets aside the first to establish the second. 10 And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all....

Morning

"The branch cannot bear fruit of itself."
John 15:4
How did you begin to bear fruit? It was when you came to Jesus and cast yourselves on his great atonement, and rested on his finished righteousness. Ah! what fruit you had then! Do you remember those early days? Then indeed the vine flourished, the tender grape appeared, the pomegranates budded forth, and the beds of spices gave forth their smell. Have you declined since then? If you have, we charge you to remember that time of love, and repent, and do thy first works. Be most in those engagements which you have experimentally proved to draw you nearest to Christ, because it is from him that all your fruits proceed. Any holy exercise which will bring you to him will help you to bear fruit. The sun is, no doubt, a great worker in fruit-creating among the trees of the orchard: and Jesus is still more so among the trees of his garden of grace. When have you been the most fruitless? Has not it been when you have lived farthest from the Lord Jesus Christ, when you have slackened in prayer, when you have departed from the simplicity of your faith, when your graces have engrossed your attention instead of your Lord, when you have said, "My mountain standeth firm, I shall never be moved"; and have forgotten where your strength dwells--has not it been then that your fruit has ceased? Some of us have been taught that we have nothing out of Christ, by terrible abasements of heart before the Lord; and when we have seen the utter barrenness and death of all creature power, we have cried in anguish, "From him all my fruit must be found, for no fruit can ever come from me." We are taught, by past experience, that the more simply we depend upon the grace of God in Christ, and wait upon the Holy Spirit, the more we shall bring forth fruit unto God. Oh! to trust Jesus for fruit as well as for life.

Evening

"Men ought always to pray."
Luke 18:1
If men ought always to pray and not to faint, much more Christian men. Jesus has sent his church into the world on the same errand upon which he himself came, and this mission includes intercession. What if I say that the church is the world's priest? Creation is dumb, but the church is to find a mouth for it. It is the church's high privilege to pray with acceptance. The door of grace is always open for her petitions, and they never return empty-handed. The veil was rent for her, the blood was sprinkled upon the altar for her, God constantly invites her to ask what she wills. Will she refuse the privilege which angels might envy her? Is she not the bride of Christ? May she not go in unto her King at every hour? Shall she allow the precious privilege to be unused? The church always has need for prayer. There are always some in her midst who are declining, or falling into open sin. There are lambs to be prayed for, that they may be carried in Christ's bosom? the strong, lest they grow presumptuous; and the weak, lest they become despairing. If we kept up prayer-meetings four-and-twenty hours in the day, all the days in the year, we might never be without a special subject for supplication. Are we ever without the sick and the poor, the afflicted and the wavering? Are we ever without those who seek the conversion of relatives, the reclaiming of back-sliders, or the salvation of the depraved? Nay, with congregations constantly gathering, with ministers always preaching, with millions of sinners lying dead in trespasses and sins; in a country over which the darkness of Romanism is certainly descending; in a world full of idols, cruelties, devilries, if the church doth not pray, how shall she excuse her base neglect of the commission of her loving Lord? Let the church be constant in supplication, let every private believer cast his mite of prayer into the treasury.

I am a decent man and don't care for the abuse given me. I created a video raising awareness of anti police feeling among western communities. I chose the senseless killing of Nicola Cotton, a Louisiana policewoman who joined post Katrina, to highlight the issue. I did this in order to get an income after having been illegally blacklisted from work in NSW for being a whistleblower. I have not done anything wrong. Local council appointees refused to endorse my work, so I did it for free. Youtube's Adsence refused to allow me to profit from their marketing it. Meanwhile, I am hostage to abysmal political leadership and hopeless journalists. My shopfront has opened on Facebook.

I am publishing a book called Bread of Life: January.

Bread of Life is a daily bible quote with a layman's understanding of the meaning. I give one quote for each day, and also a series of personal stories illustrating key concepts eg Who is God? What is a miracle? Why is there tragedy?

January is the first of the anticipated year-long work of thirteen books. One for each month and the whole year. It costs to publish. It (Kindle version) should retail at about $2US online, but the paperback version would cost more, according to production cost.If you have a heart for giving, I fundraise at gofund.me/27tkwuc (Gofundme finished the fund raiser, 2017)

Editorials will appear in the "History in a Year by the Conservative Voice" series, starting with August, September, October, or at Amazon http://www.amazon.com/dp/1482020262/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_dVHPub0MQKDZ4 The kindle version is cheaper, but the soft back version allows a free kindle version.
