Fri 12th November 2021 Current Affairs

My name is David Daniel Ball and I am Voice DDB dot locals dot com a voice of freedom supporting freedom around the world for all peoples. I write on historical and current affairs. I look for the conservative voice where mainstream media eschews it. Around the world media espouses liberalism orthodoxy and proclaims a history of liberalism that never happened. Liberalism of today is based on repeated lies that have been accepted from the past.

Consider these recent truths

It is US election season and the Dem machine spun effectively, but the people's will asserted dominance in a few places. In one place, Virginia, The Governor, Lt Governor and Attorney General were all elected GOP. Nationally, the Democrats campaigned on calling anyone conservative racist. Apparently, unless one owns a pet black or hispanic, one begins dressing as a KKK or white supremacist. How the Dem media cabal know this is not explained, but it is worth noting there is a picture of the Dem campaigning for Virginia governor either dressed in black face or as a KKK, nobody knows which, for a party without pets. However, so called conservative media agrees the reason why the Dem campaigner failed so badly was for telling parents they had no rights in educating their own children, or in vaccinating their own children against something that is not a threat to them.

The stunning Virginia success was copied in NJ, without the success. NJ was better geared to exploiting voter fraud. A senior senator for Dems lost to an independent trucker, before 'discovering' tens of thousands of votes post election. At least one respected pollster had projected an 11% win to Dems in NJ. The pollster apologised to GOP following. But it is another example of voter suppression. There is no excuse for a representative sample to be so out of step with the modified census. If GOP maintain the ascendancy to next year's election, they will rout Democrats in the mid terms. But only in swing states with balanced election laws allowing free and fair elections. Even iin Florida there will still be Dem controlled counties that will impede free and fair elections.

Durham Prosecution established by Barr under Trump is claiming more results with evidence of what was already known. FBI prosecuted the Trump campaign and administration while knowing that the evidence used to justify the investigation was bogus. FBI knew that Clinton had paid for the fake Steele dossier. and yet they threw advisers to Trump in jail on trumped up charges. When it was discovered what the cabal had done, FBI has stymied investigation. It is now apparent that FBI embedded itself during the riots of 2020 with a view to challenging Trump at election.

The Rittenhouse Trial is supposed to finish Friday 12th November, but the revelations from discovery and trial are breath taking. Rittenhouse is innocent of anything from the incident, except breaking a curfew that rioters were allowed to ignore. It turns out the US's longest serving mayor, a Democrat, was exploiting the riots and Rittenhouse, who may have been killed by any of many mayoral accomplices, survived partly by luck. It has been discovered that the FBI had video surveillance, and they deleted an HD version, possibly because it revealed many FBI agents among the rioters. Of three people Rittenhouse needed to shoot to avoid death, all were known to law in a bad way. Press had claimed Rittenhouse shot three people at random. Shooting at random in a Democrat based riot one might choose out of any three an armed felon, a wife beater and a recently released violent schizophrenic off their meds. Although the defence seems incompetent, the state's evidence appears to exonerate Rittenhouse.
=== From recent years ===
The first woman elected to US Congress, Jeanette Rankin, was first elected on this day in 1916. She was again elected in 1940. As a Republican, she was foundational to the civil rights movement. She was a Suffragette. She was a pacifist. She never married and might have been gay. None of that precluded her from representation as a Republican. There is no evidence she was corrupt, so she could never have been a Democrat? Following her elections, US joined a world war. Maybe it is good she wasn't elected a third time? Interestingly, both US involvements in the wars involved a telegram, Mexico being invited to fight the US by Germany in WW1, and Japan signalling Pearl Harbour's attack. Neither time was the telegram anything to do with GOP, but both times Dem seized on them for war. Today, we are told that Biden would pay any invasion force $450k each.

Also on this day, Woodrow Wilson was re-elected as President, on the promise to not involve the US in the World War. He would change his mind, but found a way to involve black regiments as cannon fodder. He would send Robert Russa Moton as an observer of the black regiments, with a view to maintaining discipline. Moton, a grandson of a slaver who was later enslaved, would later align black peoples with Dems for the New Deal.

We are being lied to. But not by everyone. Our nations and their justice machinery are not broken, but damaged. Things are bad, but they are supposed to be bad, rather than merely breaking. We can't give up. We must reject the liars, and remove them from public office, and prosecute them lawfully. Things can get better, but we must persevere or risk losing hope. We must not fight the Devil by playing the Devil's game. Rather we must resist the Devil by being free. There is no law against doing what is right. Their utter depravity kills us. They target us and they seek to restrain us. But while the greatest among us a hundred years ago has died, their legacy has not. That which we are, we are. Lockdowns were ineffective in dealing with COVID. Effective medication has been denied whole populations. Herd immunity will prevail. Fraud deleteriously affected recent elections around the world. But, Democracy will prevail. Our oppressors will pass. For us to win, we must assert our freedoms. For us to lose, we must willingly surrender our freedoms forever. Our children will have to pay back our debt. We must sacrifice now so that they can. That means telling truth to power. That means pointing up when when some get confused and lose their way. Stand by the one who sacrificed their pension and freedoms to speak out. Prosecute the ones forgiven by a debauched and self interested administration. Vote for those who help you exercise your freedom. Don't wait for free speech. Exercise free speech.

Intro to Locals.com

My name is David Daniel Ball I'm a teacher with three decades experience teaching math to high school kids.I also work with first graders and kids in between first grade and high school. I know the legends of why Hypatia's dad is remembered through his contribution to Math theory. And I know the legend of why followers of Godel had thought he had disproved God's existence.

I'm not a preacher, but I am a Christian who has written over 28 books all of which include some reference to my faith. Twelve blog books on world history and current affairs, detailing world events , births and marriages on each day of the year, organised by month. Twelve books on the background to and history of Bible Quotes. One Bible quote per day for a year. An intro to a science fiction series I'm planning, post apocalyptic cyber punk. An autobiography with short story collections.

I'm known in Australia for my failure as a whistleblower over the negligence death of a school boy. I had reported the issue responsibly and had not known I'd blown the whistle. The embarrassed left wing government had responded by imposition of a nationwide ban on the use of peanut butter in canteens, despite failing to address the issue of peanut allergy appropriately.

I've been de-platformed on Facebook and twitter despite not being an activist. Twitter did not like me asking for Obama to face justice in 2011. FB gave no specific reason for removing me following Jan 6th 2021 in Washington DC where a policeman killed an unarmed woman, so a crowd would know he was in control.

From the Bible, Hebrews 8

Now the main point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by a mere human being.

Every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices, and so it was necessary for this one also to have something to offer. If he were on earth, he would not be a priest, for there are already priests who offer the gifts prescribed by the law. They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.” But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises.

For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another. But God found fault with the people and said:

“The days are coming, declares the Lord,
when I will make a new covenant
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
It will not be like the covenant
    I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,
because they did not remain faithful to my covenant,
and I turned away from them,
declares the Lord.
This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel
after that time, declares the Lord.
I will put my laws in their minds
and write them on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest.
For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.”

By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear.

Here is a video I made "Sealed with a Kiss"
"Sealed with a Kiss" is the title of a song written by Peter Udell and Gary Geld. It was first recorded in 1960 by The Four Voices. While their version was released as a single, it failed to make a significant impact. In 1962, Brian Hyland, a frequent recorder of Udell's and Geld's material, released the song as a single. It became very popular, charting as high as # 3 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart. It charted in the UK at # 7 when re-released in 1975. Hyland also recorded a version in German.

Don't give up on hope. Sub Saharan Africa is a basket case. The UN prevents her from profiting from worthwhile endeavours. Africa is still fractured by race, ethnicity, warlords, poverty, lawlessness, religious turmoil and socialist nations. After WW2, when the UN was looking at how best to allocate resources to build the world, Asia looked the basket case with too many people and not enough resources, while Africa was ripe to join the developed world, with lots of natural resources and abundance of farmland which could make her a fruit basket. I'll ignore the North African nations in this analysis as their issues are different, more related to the issues of all Islamic nations around the world. Socialist policies in South Africa and Zimbabwe have been as successful as in Venezuela and Cuba. War torn Congo, Rwanda and Uganda owe some of their problems to international actors manipulating tribal schisms for personal gain. And yet along with with nations like Nigeria and Kenya there is hope. Not because of $trillions of aid money being diverted to war machines, but because through hard won law and order, local communities are working to improve their lot. Children are being educated, and some go to university. Middle classes are expanding. As nations like India internationalise, they create opportunities where they expand. The divisive issue of slavery still impacts on large swathes of Africa today, but a focus on it is counterproductive. There needs to be healing, but healing is best achieved with hope through the dignity of work. Aid alone will never compensate for the past.

Malcolm Turnbull takes selfies, and the pictures look for all the world as if USA and China are sharing a bad joke. Partisan Channel 7 are working very hard to hurt Pauline Hanson in Queensland. Queensland LNP provide strong, sensible policy, while ALP suggest harebrained AGW affirmations like spending over a $hundred million on Solar, but not achieving any result from the expenditure. The ALP are hoping for less plant food to be yielded. But Queensland don't have a Triffid problem. The ALP government have restricted political funding to the LNP, but have no restrictions on union slush funds going to them. That is what they can do in government.

Media are still searching for an anti Trump campaign which will cruel his Presidency. A year 4 school teacher in Dandenong has imbued her class with such a hatred and misunderstanding of Trump that a child successfully got published their support for Hillary. The child’s view seemed a tad more sophisticated than Malcolm Farr’s position, as published on news.com.au Clearly, should the child grow up, they will have a well remunerated journalists position available. The child was tearful Hillary lost and critical of Trump’s personality. Such a masterful display would have had her rival Hillary on the Democratic stage. Probably we should thank the teacher for giving voice to the child’s thoughts. Probably not all the children, but that would not be the point. I want the teacher dismissed and replaced with someone competent.

IPA Review (Aug 2016) features a Chris Berg article “Is reform hopeless in an era of disillusion.” The article is thought provoking and irritating. It correctly positions many of the issues, but sidesteps certain truths too. The ALP is unwilling to reform when they can successfully employ corruption, with slush funds and union patronage murderously combined to ruin business and prevent growth. The deaths on a fun ride from an OHS failure following union collaboration without ABCC oversight is an example. The Liberal Party, under the leadership of Turnbull is incapable of reform too. But even were the leader competent, they couldn’t do much because Turnbull has snookered himself with bad politics. If one were to ditch Bishop too, the Libs might get a good team together. Abbott could do a great job if he wasn’t undermined by Turnbull or Bishop. Both Turnbull and Bishop had recently been very disloyal, willing to hurt Australia for political gain. They were successful at that.

Australia is in the grip of a powerful El Nino. An El Nino is well defined, so we know that to be the case. Effects of an El Nino are well understood. Dry air covering Australia means little rainfall. Only it is quite wet over much of southern Australia. And the bureau of meteorology, which claims to know what the weather will be like two hundred years from now, cannot explain why the weather is like it is today. However, there is a recent historical precedent that matches current conditions from another El Nino. Suggesting the model is not at all understood or reliable.

The concept of 'safe space' has arisen with the left abusing it by employing it as a bullying tool. A safe space, according to one left wing journalist professor, is a space on campus where media can't take pictures of demonstrating students. It is a fascinating inversion of a teaching tool that is employed to avoid bullying. In the journalists' safe space, another student observing the demonstration can be isolated, abused and hit.

For some, at the moment, the Sex Party has more credibility.
From 2014
Drugging children
The drug issue with those wishing to make it available to children is prevalent, more so because the ALP are no longer in government and so can promise anything as they have done in the past. The conservative view is that zero tolerance is the best, most compassionate way of dealing with drugs. Addictive, brain shrinking drugs kill users and ruin their lives. They have no beneficial side effects. Rudd acted quickly when elected in '07 to put forward the alternative of harm minimisation for users. The Harm minimisation theory has it that people will take drugs anyway and so greater knowledge and experience of drugs will mean that the damage done by drugs will be made smaller. But drugs and drug dealers don't work that way. Drug dealers are really keen to legalise Marijuana at the moment, but they take no responsibility for the damage done. One argument is related to medical marijuana, which is a separate issue. Basically, dealers want to make money. They will not pay for associated damage to the lives of users. Recently, a 19 year old university student, Georgina, took one and a half ecstasy tablets and died from the drugs. She was at a party where the drugs were prevalent. Harm minimisation infrastructure was available and acted quickly. Somewhere, some time, the lessons learned and taught regarding zero tolerance have been sidelined. Hopefully Georgina's life will speak so that others do not die this way.

The ABC and the Left
The ABC is left wing and very politically charged. They campaign for the ALP and Greens and often are disgustingly rude to any conservative politician. They aren't supposed to be biased, according to their charter they are supposed to be balanced. But how dare they attack victims of MH17 as part of an unhinged attack on Mr Abbott. Mr Abbott had said he would 'shirtfront' Mr Putin. He had indicated he would squarely face Mr Putin and remind him of Russia's involvement with the shooting down of the airline. ABC chose instead to believe that Mr Abbott would attempt an AFL style tackle on Mr Putin. They claimed it was very confusing for them. But Mr Abbott was as good as his word, and he faced Mr Putin and got the correct reply too. Putin didn't point to that, which would be undiplomatic, but Ukraine has questions to answer over the tragedy. But all that mattered to the ABC, despite the grief of suffering loved ones who want answers, is that they had a joke. Thirty eight Australians died on MH17, and clearly Australia has a vested interest in a resolution to the tragedy caused by the Ukraine and Russian separatists fighting on Washington's behalf. So Opposition Leader Bill Shorten is asked what he would say to Mr Putin about the issue. "Nothing" Mr Shorten replied. Maybe he didn't wish to fall for the joke.

Meanwhile the ABC is exhorting activists to riot to the right tune in Brisbane. They have already managed to cheer on a man to punching a female security guard in the face. He has successfully made his voice heard.

International nut houses
Washington National Cathedral will host an Islamic prayer service sponsored by two organisations supporting Sharia Law.

Obama promises China to weaken the US, but probably doesn't have congressional support. Obama's plan is to allow China to raise emissions for 16 years while restricting US emissions. Meanwhile St Cloud Minnesota beat a record set in 1898 with 13.2 inches of snow in one day.

Local nut houses
Racing horses is dangerous, but racing frightbats? Frightbats are far more colourful than horses and very outspoken about the dangers they face in everyday life. It could revive a sport suffering from having to deal with animals that the public is sympathetic to.

Sarah Hanson Young has not always been a well remunerated backer of drowning boat people. Back in her university days, she vociferously spoke her mind. Apparently she didn't think a lot about the opinions she gave, back then.

Australian of the year Adam Goodes apparently does not like Australia. He feels that Australia is built on lies and subjugation of minorities. With respect, he is wrong, but his education is so bad as a result of what is taught. He was clearly a good student but a lousy judge of character. But Goodes is no fool, the Myth of a stolen generation is everywhere. Spread by those who hate those who love. Those who praise dysfunction would condemn children to the current state of 19.48% experiencing child sexual abuse. Although the percentage is probably an understated figure.
From 2013
ALP are big on abuse and excuse. 'Electricity' Bill Shorten today said the Abbott government had inflamed a diplomatic incident with Indonesia. Fact checkers at the ABC will be slow off the mark. They note Abbott referred to Gillard's corrupt activity. But they won't notice the foreign policy debacles that Shorten's ALP oversaw and created under Gillard and Rudd. From Rudd's beginning in late '07, when he nearly caused the assassination and kidnap of Timorise leaders. Or antagonising India, Japan, US, Malaysia, Indonesia and many others on a host of issues. But it suggests Abbott has antagonised Indonesia .. which isn't even true. Indonesia has appropriately been reminded of its duty. Nothing wrong with that. If Indonesia don't want the responsibility, they shouldn't be in government.
One wonders at the artistic use Assange applies to the word 'Consent.' Only the incompetent penis knows. A real artist knows the value of words .. and threats. One wonders how many Fairfax journalists earn generous four figure salaries? Not many. In fact I don't think anyone outside the ALP typing pool does.
Clive Palmer shows himself to be a buffoon. Relating a Kennedy speech on Marxism. Only death prevented Kennedy from being recognised as a worse President than Carter. A death related to an accident from his secret service firing a dum-dum into Kennedy's fragile brain. But what can be said of Pliberseck being paid to visit her constituents with her family at a pleasure resort? In a word, 'rort.'

Today's Old Testament reading: Jeremiah 50

A Message About Babylon
1 This is the word the LORD spoke through Jeremiah the prophet concerning Babylon and the land of the Babylonians:
2 “Announce and proclaim among the nations,
lift up a banner and proclaim it;
keep nothing back, but say,
‘Babylon will be captured;
Bel will be put to shame,
Marduk filled with terror.
Her images will be put to shame
and her idols filled with terror.’
3 A nation from the north will attack her
and lay waste her land.
No one will live in it;
both people and animals will flee away.
4 “In those days, at that time,”
declares the LORD,
“the people of Israel and the people of Judah together
will go in tears to seek the LORD their God.
5 They will ask the way to Zion
and turn their faces toward it.
They will come and bind themselves to the LORD
in an everlasting covenant
that will not be forgotten....

Today's New Testament reading: Hebrews 8

The High Priest of a New Covenant
1 Now the main point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, 2 and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by a mere human being.
3 Every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices, and so it was necessary for this one also to have something to offer. 4 If he were on earth, he would not be a priest, for there are already priests who offer the gifts prescribed by the law. 5 They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.” 6 But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises....

Morning

"Underneath are the everlasting arms."
Deuteronomy 33:27
God--the eternal God--is himself our support at all times, and especially when we are sinking in deep trouble. There are seasons when the Christian sinks very low in humiliation. Under a deep sense of his great sinfulness, he is humbled before God till he scarcely knows how to pray, because he appears, in his own sight, so worthless. Well, child of God, remember that when thou art at thy worst and lowest, yet "underneath" thee "are everlasting arms." Sin may drag thee ever so low, but Christ's great atonement is still under all. You may have descended into the deeps, but you cannot have fallen so low as "the uttermost;" and to the uttermost he saves. Again, the Christian sometimes sinks very deeply in sore trial from without. Every earthly prop is cut away. What then? Still underneath him are "the everlasting arms." He cannot fall so deep in distress and affliction but what the covenant grace of an ever-faithful God will still encircle him. The Christian may be sinking under trouble from within through fierce conflict, but even then he cannot be brought so low as to be beyond the reach of the "everlasting arms"--they are underneath him; and, while thus sustained, all Satan's efforts to harm him avail nothing.
This assurance of support is a comfort to any weary but earnest worker in the service of God. It implies a promise of strength for each day, grace for each need, and power for each duty. And, further, when death comes, the promise shall still hold good. When we stand in the midst of Jordan, we shall be able to say with David, "I will fear no evil, for thou art with me." We shall descend into the grave, but we shall go no lower, for the eternal arms prevent our further fall. All through life, and at its close, we shall be upheld by the "everlasting arms"--arms that neither flag nor lose their strength, for "the everlasting God fainteth not, neither is weary."

Evening

"He shall choose our inheritance for us."
Psalm 47:4
Believer, if your inheritance be a lowly one you should be satisfied with your earthly portion; for you may rest assured that it is the fittest for you. Unerring wisdom ordained your lot, and selected for you the safest and best condition. A ship of large tonnage is to be brought up the river; now, in one part of the stream there is a sandbank; should some one ask, "Why does the captain steer through the deep part of the channel and deviate so much from a straight line?" His answer would be, "Because I should not get my vessel into harbour at all if I did not keep to the deep channel." So, it may be, you would run aground and suffer shipwreck, if your divine Captain did not steer you into the depths of affliction where waves of trouble follow each other in quick succession. Some plants die if they have too much sunshine. It may be that you are planted where you get but little, you are put there by the loving Husbandman, because only in that situation will you bring forth fruit unto perfection. Remember this, had any other condition been better for you than the one in which you are, divine love would have put you there. You are placed by God in the most suitable circumstances, and if you had the choosing of your lot, you would soon cry, "Lord, choose my inheritance for me, for by my self-will I am pierced through with many sorrows." Be content with such things as you have, since the Lord has ordered all things for your good. Take up your own daily cross; it is the burden best suited for your shoulder, and will prove most effective to make you perfect in every good word and work to the glory of God. Down busy self, and proud impatience, it is not for you to choose, but for the Lord of Love!
"Trials must and will befall--
But with humble faith to see
Love inscribed upon them all;

This is happiness to me."

I am a decent man and don't care for the abuse given me. I created a video raising awareness of anti police feeling among western communities. I chose the senseless killing of Nicola Cotton, a Louisiana policewoman who joined post Katrina, to highlight the issue. I did this in order to get an income after having been illegally blacklisted from work in NSW for being a whistleblower. I have not done anything wrong. Local council appointees refused to endorse my work, so I did it for free. Youtube's Adsence refused to allow me to profit from their marketing it. Meanwhile, I am hostage to abysmal political leadership and hopeless journalists. My shopfront has opened on Facebook.

I am publishing a book called Bread of Life: January.

Bread of Life is a daily bible quote with a layman's understanding of the meaning. I give one quote for each day, and also a series of personal stories illustrating key concepts eg Who is God? What is a miracle? Why is there tragedy?

January is the first of the anticipated year-long work of thirteen books. One for each month and the whole year. It costs to publish. It (Kindle version) should retail at about $2US online, but the paperback version would cost more, according to production cost.If you have a heart for giving, I fundraise at gofund.me/27tkwuc (Gofundme finished the fund raiser, 2017)

Editorials will appear in the "History in a Year by the Conservative Voice" series, starting with August, September, October, or at Amazon http://www.amazon.com/dp/1482020262/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_dVHPub0MQKDZ4 The kindle version is cheaper, but the soft back version allows a free kindle version.
