Editorial on Pell case and Deep state
Cardinal Pell had created the Melbourne Response into institutionalised pedophilia in the '90s in Australia. It was a world first, but hamstrung by laws of the day, giving victims compensation without forcing them to trial. There was a backlash and a party which had included many who were known pedophiles and had deep bureaucratic connections had had Pell face decades of litigation which over time crept to accuse Pell of being a pedophile, and had him jailed on a false pretext for over a year. He had been convicted by the Victorian high court after the chief justice took the case saying they would be impartial, but they weren't. In the mean time, Pell had been 3rd in power within the Catholic church and had restructured church finances world wide to root out corruption. Recently, senior church members who allegedly leaked against Pell are facing charges of embezzlement. I see no evidence Catholicism is more prone to pedophilia than elsewhere, and I know there are tragic examples. But a deep state issue within Catholicism has seemed to be in the mix and on both sides, Catholics are standing up. Tony Abbott was the first conservative Catholic in Australia (It could be argued Joseph Lyons was Catholic too, but the UAP founder had been ALP first). Malcolm Turnbull is catholic too. Deep state division within Catholicism dates over a thousand years. It is not solely responsible for US deep state issues, but it does seem a contributor.

Editorial on Friday 13th

There used to be a 13th month. It spawned the idea of a blue moon which happens once a year. Robert Graves interpreted artwork from pre literacy Greece found that woman were the initial leaders of the Greeks, and they had three powerful gods, Hera, Aphrodite and Athena. They were a kind of trinity, where Hera, cow eyed, was the older who saw wrongs when others didn't realise she was watching. Aphrodite was a mature, desirable woman. Pallas Athene was the child goddess, whose wisdom was like a sharp pre teen girl. Over time, Queens would adopt a king for a year. At the end of the year, the blue moon, the king would be sacrificed and his blood and bones would be fertiliser. Later still, prisoners might be sacrificed for the king.

The thirteenth month has disappeared from our calendar but still exists as a blue moon, sometimes defined as the month of the year with two moons.

The Code of Hammurabi left off the number 13 for reasons now unknown.

Apollo 13 came too late to be foundational, but my, it was inspiring.

The knights Templar were screwed before French King Philip stole their assets by accusing them of heresies and then torturing them to confess, beginning Friday 13th. They had lost everything when Jerusalem fell after 150 years when the language spoken there had been French. Jerusalem fell after Jerusalem's king's daughter was kidnapped, and so the king the left the safety of a fortress and was slaughtered in battle. The Knights Templar had the timeless duty of guarding Jerusalem and her antiquities. The Holy Grail legend may have been resurrected to impugn the Knights? I feel the knights were victims of a deep state within Christianity. Part of the chaff masquerading as wheat.

From the Bible Romans 12:9-21 NIV

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. On the contrary:

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
    if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

1. Covid. A study commissioned by the big drug companies concludes what Alex Berenson noted the historic data pointed to six months ago: rapid decline in vaccine efficacy to variants and over time, with Pfizer already down to around 42% efficacy, and falling fast, as even admitted by a pro-drug company medical report. https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.08.06.21261707v1

2. Legal. Vaccine mandate lawsuits explode across the country. Just one such report: https://www.khon2.com/coronavirus/hawaii-union-members-hold-news-conference-to-discuss-taking-legal-action-against-covid-vaccine-mandate/

4. Political. Dig into the data, and despite the pro-mandate questioning style, politicians and employers are in real trouble -- already less than half the nation buys into the fear-driven agenda, with major decline in support amongst non-college black and hispanic voters. Here is a video I made Blue Moon
I made the audio file many years ago after talented artist George Peter Tingley posted a piano piece. Mixing my stuff with his high end stuff would be wrong, but the innocence of my attempt is appealing.
===
===
"Blue Moon" is a classic popular song. It was written by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart in 1934, and has become a standard ballad. The song has been covered as a released single by artists such as Billie Holiday, and Mel Torme. In popular culture, the song has featured in musical films such as Grease and Blue Moon is generally regarded as the anthem of Manchester City Football Club.

I was raised as an Atheist. I learned, after reading the Bible, that God loves me, and you. This is his song for you too. He loves you, and wants to be with you.

Don't give up on hope. Two politicians around Australia have independently sparked a furore over anti semitism. One, in NSW, is the first Muslim member of the NSW Parliament. Shaoquette Moselmane was born in South Lebanon, but does not seem to have South Lebanon Army sympathies. Vic Alhadeff, a Jewish community leader had been invited to an ALP run multicultural event. Moselmane was host. In the past, Alhadeff had not been invited to similar events and allegedly had been told that that was because an ALP member made a point of preventing Jewish representation. Alhadeff got invited by the NSW Labor General Secretary, but when he showed, Moselmane told him to go, as he was not a member of the ALP. ALP Leader in NSW, Luke Foley, has apologised following the news report.

In Queensland, Fraser Anning has had a maiden speech in which he pointed up and pointed down and looked sideways, and said a final solution might be to ban Muslim migrants. Some things Anning said made sense, like freedom from cutting red tape, promoting free trade, building Joyce's Dams from the Bradfield Scheme. His baiting of those supporting Islamo Fascism is disappointing. His use of the phrase "Final Solution" is offensive in context. A final solution to Islamo Fascism is to bring Australian based Muslims into the Australian fold. Then she'll be right.

An Australian scientist based at ANU has developed a method of colouring laser light, creating bandwidth within optic fibres previously untapped, and potentially increasing throughput speed for internet around the world three fold. And the scientist has the delightful Aussie name of Dr Yan Sheng.

I'm contributing to QUORA, a question and answer site that can be a bit addictive.

What are some best practices of excellent teachers?

The best teachers are anonymous. It is their students that achieve. In Australia, NAPLAN could be reengineered to show top achieving teachers, but teacher unions oppose it.

Excellent teachers imbue a love of learning. Were it that learning was merely functional, that would limit student achievement. But there needs to be focus too. Can’t always wander off target.

A daily column on what the ALP have as a policy, supported by a local member, and how it has 'helped' the local community. I'll stop if I cannot identify a policy. Feel free to make suggestions. Contact me on FB, not twitter. I have twitter, but never look at it.

Gabrielle Williams was appointed Parliamentary Secretary for Carers and Volunteers, working with the Minister for Housing, Disability and Ageing and the Minister for Families and Children. Williams was given those titles when elected in 2014. It is difficult to find what value she has been to Dandenong, but clearly the ALP see her as the future. On July 23rd, ALP News announced that they were making home ownership a reality in Dandenong. They do this by offering to remove stamp duty for first home buyers and offer a deposit for first home buyers. In 2007, Rudd declared that was reckless spending designed as middle class welfare. It is an empty gesture which helps comparatively few people, some 6000 people have been given first home owner grants since July 1st 2017. The program is ok, but not a fix. It distorts the market. At the end of the day, who does one trust? Dan Andrews has strangled business, choking it with red tape, and high taxation. His great new plan in housing won't help many but isn't terrible. I would cut taxes and red tape .. and spending.

As part of the November 24th Vic election campaign I have a petition I want to bring before the Opposition Leader Matthew Guy. I believe Matthew will be the next premier of Victoria and so I am petitioning him as I raise the issues of Employment, Crime and Education in Dandenong. I am also seeking money for my campaign. I don't have party resources, and so my campaign is on foot, and on the internet. Any money I receive that is not spent on the campaign will go to Grow 4 Life. I am asking questions like "What do you love about Dandenong?" and "If you could change something in Dandenong to make it better, what would it be?" I'm not limiting the questions to state issues. I'm happy to discuss anything, and get things done.

Some things should not happen, but they do. Press are calling for Barnaby Joyce to stand down after the discovery he had dual citizenship. In all likelihood, he won't have to step down or resign because he demonstrably took due diligence. Taking due diligence confuses the press who can only see a double standard if it suits them. Press don't understand how people who are born overseas might not know their nationality if they are Green and haven't exercised due diligence, but an Australian born conservative might not know they are deemed a foreign national after their father had been born in a commonwealth nation prior to either Australian or NZ citizenship being defined. The press claim the ALP are safe, possibly because none of them were born in Australia? And the ALP swear at each other all the time, so they've probably sworn off any dual nationality. One is confident if an ALP member does fall foul of the constitutional imposition, then Shorten will allow a plebiscite on the issue.

On this day in history, Octavian was enjoying his second of three days of triumph over Dalmatia in 29 BC. They would rebel again after Nero in 68 and probably inspire the destruction of the Jewish Temple in 70 because Caeser needed to make a statement, and some one in seven people across the empire were Jewish. In 1040 King Duncan lost his fight with Macbeth. Duncan was a young king, unlike his Shakesperian depiction. As for three witches, they no doubt are hiding in Birnum Wood. In 1183, the Japanese emperor who was a child took flight with the royal treasures. He would be murdered so that he wasn't killed by the wrong person. The Battle of Mauron was a success for Breton's over France in the early part of the hundred years war in 1352. Eventually, France conquered all. Portugal successfully resisted Castilian Spain in 1385 at the Battle of Aljubarrota. In 1415, Henry the Navigator, son of John I of Portugal had a quick victory over Morocco at the Battle of Ceuta. It wasn't a long lasting victory as the object was worthless without Tangier. In 1437 Portugal would attempt to take Tangier, fail and sue for peace. Henry the Navigator was a follower of a common legend of the day, Prester John. Prester John, according to popular legend, was a descendant of a Maggi from Jesus's birth who was king of a Christian Nation in the Orient, lost among Islamic and pagan tribes. The legend was strongest between the twelfth and seventeenth centuries and fuelled expansion eastward, along with the real promise of spice and goods. In 1592, Korea defeated Japan on water at the Battle of Hansan Island. In 1880, Cologne Cathedral was completed. In 1885, Japan patented the first rust proof paint. In 1888 an audio recording was played at a press conference showing Thomas Edison's phonograph. In 1893, France began registering cars.  In 1901 Gustave Whitehead claimed to have made the first powered flight. In 1914, France unsuccessfully tried to seize Lorraine from Germany. In 1915, BA Santamaria was born. He was staunchly Catholic and opposed Communism while supporting worker's rights. He also opposed unfettered capitalism. He was wrong about unfettered capitalism, fetters make it worse. In 1935, the US created Social Security as a government pension system for the retired. It was so successful it now supports generations of people from cradle to grave. In 1945, Japan accepted surrender unconditionally. Also in 1945, the Viet Minh launch the August Revolution plunging Vietnam into civil war which had people fleeing into the late 1980s. In 1969, UK deployed troops in Northern Ireland. In 1974, Turkey invades Cyprus creating almost 200000 refugees and killing over 6000. In 1975, the Rocky Horror Picture Show began. In 1980, Lech Walesa lead strikes at Gdansk. In 1987, Julian Assange's family was released after a police raid. In 1994, Carlos the Jackal was captured. In 1996, Turkish forces killed a Cypriot for climbing a flagpole in Cyprus, in a UN zone. In 2003, widespread blackouts affected North East America. In 2013 Egypt was in a state of emergency following the dumping of Morsi.

 The US Christian conservative lobby have the power to deny any GOP contestant the presidency. And if they don't support Trump then they will inflict Hillary Clinton on the US, just as when they did not endorse Romney or McCain. Trump needs the support of the rump if he is going to win the Presidency in eleven weeks. The alternative is highly undesirable. Dems, after 8 years of inept rule, are in a position to reform and strengthen. Their insiders have seen their mistakes, and need time to push the agenda for improvement they can only do while they aren't in government in the Whitehouse. Journalists and media will never push for Democrat reform as "If they are electable there is no need for reform" or "If they aren't elected then nobody is good enough for government." The Alinsky dichotomy is false "Heads I win, tails you lose." It is about politics, not fairness. In a fair world, Obama was in prison, not President. Ditto Hillary. To not support Trump is to endorse the weakening of the military, an expansion of debt and good people will die, abandoned by a grotesque legislature that cares only about maintaining a trough. There is no alternative. Only Trump can #MakeAmericaGreatAgain

For some, at the moment, the Sex Party has more credibility.
=== from 2015 ===
 Two years ago, as the Conservative Voice began work on the History of the World in a Year project, the Australian Federal Government was different. A desperate Rudd was hoping to lose an election but save 'the furniture'. That was to be the best he could achieve. It was to be a terrible result for ALP. But the furniture had been saved, with the ALP keeping a blocking vote in the Senate with aligned independents. The new Abbott led government immediately ended the murderous policy allowing people smugglers to ship people to Australia by boats. The new government also ended the carbon and mining taxes which were strangling business, cut back on ALP's runaway spending and managed to not make one single spending blow out which plagued ALP so that the ALP finance minister had lost over $130 billion in six budgets.

Because the ALP have been so weak since, the media have campaigned on their behalf. Distractions for the ALP, like drugs in sport, gay marriage, Aboriginal sovereignty, education arrangements, medical benefits and industrial corruption have all been flagged by the media as important social issues which the government could never cut spending on. But the truth is the government has to cut spending if it is to continue supporting welfare. $7 copayments to doctors are not onerous like $75 fines for minor ticketing transgressions. Funding for education must be made manageable. Slogans like $100k degrees don't pay bills. For things to remain the same, things are going to have to change.

Australia cannot afford industrial corruption. We can't accept a PM or two who were involved in standover tactics embezzling funds from business in the name of unions where union members never benefit. A campaign of lies against a judge sitting on a royal commission cannot excuse corruption. Sitting members have said things in parliament they could be sued for, or sent to jail, if they said them outside of parliament, regarding the royal commission's judge. The ALP needs to reform. It hasn't. It may still be electable as an unreformed entity. But that is a tragedy for her supporters.
From 2014
People are surprised the god daughter of a hedonist atheist who died after they stopped having pleasure in life, the daughter of one of the most corrupt Premiers NSW has had, was present at a stabbing murder while high off her face on Ice. The girl is privileged, went to elite private schools and is facing serious charges, but in all likelihood will be pitied rather than punished. Indulgent crack whores don't get better through pity. Meanwhile nine Liberal Party parliamentarians have stepped aside while being investigated. Combined, they fail to reach within three orders of magnitude of Eddie Obeid's half a billion dollar misappropriations. Had the donations come from union officials it would have been legal. It is important that money handling is transparent and above board. Miss Wran inherited a forty million dollar estate. Crime pays? She probably has a car somewhere. Hockey's theory is right, those who use cars most tend to be wealthy. Many are criticising Hockey for his statement of truth. They will probably be defending Wran.

Under Obama the US is spending a lot of money and it isn't going to unity but racial division and police overkill. Noting two journalists were arrested recently for not leaving a McDonalds fast enough. A peaceful protest march is met by riot police with tear gas and truck mounted SMG. Gotta love freedom. How did a young woman come to fall from a high rise balcony? She was the daughter of a Christian pastor in NZ. She had flown to the Gold Coast. Loved animals. Met someone through a dating app, Tinder. He is a pervert who recorded his numerous sexual conquests using multiple cameras. It was 2am. If he were black, he could have been Obama's son. He has the right to remain silent. He has no right to his hobby. Another with no right to their hobby is Mike Carlton, who is being challenged over the anti racism provision 18c for a bigoted article on Israel. Maybe now the Left will want the legislation repealed.

Today's Old Testament reading: Psalm 87-88

Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. A song.

1 He has founded his city on the holy mountain.
2 The LORD loves the gates of Zion
more than all the other dwellings of Jacob.
3 Glorious things are said of you,
city of God:
4 "I will record Rahab and Babylon
among those who acknowledge me-
Philistia too, and Tyre, along with Cush-
and will say, 'This one was born in Zion.'"
5 Indeed, of Zion it will be said,
"This one and that one were born in her,
and the Most High himself will establish her."
6 The LORD will write in the register of the peoples:
"This one was born in Zion."
7 As they make music they will sing,
"All my fountains are in you."

Today's New Testament reading: Romans 13

Submission to Governing Authorities
1 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. 4 For the one in authority is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God's servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience....

Morning

"The cedars of Lebanon which he hath planted."
Psalm 104:16
Lebanon's cedars are emblematic of the Christian, in that they owe their planting entirely to the Lord. This is quite true of every child of God. He is not man-planted, nor self-planted, but God-planted. The mysterious hand of the divine Spirit dropped the living seed into a heart which he had himself prepared for its reception. Every true heir of heaven owns the great Husbandman as his planter. Moreover, the cedars of Lebanon are not dependent upon man for their watering; they stand on the lofty rock, unmoistened by human irrigation; and yet our heavenly Father supplieth them. Thus it is with the Christian who has learned to live by faith. He is independent of man, even in temporal things; for his continued maintenance he looks to the Lord his God, and to him alone. The dew of heaven is his portion, and the God of heaven is his fountain. Again, the cedars of Lebanon are not protected by any mortal power. They owe nothing to man for their preservation from stormy wind and tempest. They are God's trees, kept and preserved by him, and by him alone. It is precisely the same with the Christian. He is not a hot-house plant, sheltered from temptation; he stands in the most exposed position; he has no shelter, no protection, except this, that the broad wings of the eternal God always cover the cedars which he himself has planted. Like cedars, believers are full of sap, having vitality enough to be ever green, even amid winter's snows. Lastly, the flourishing and majestic condition of the cedar is to the praise of God only. The Lord, even the Lord alone hath been everything unto the cedars, and, therefore David very sweetly puts it in one of the psalms, "Praise ye the Lord, fruitful trees and all cedars." In the believer there is nothing that can magnify man; he is planted, nourished, and protected by the Lord's own hand, and to him let all the glory be ascribed.

Evening

"And I will remember my covenant."
Genesis 9:15

Mark the form of the promise. God does not say, "And when ye shall look upon the bow, and ye shall remember my covenant, then I will not destroy the earth," but it is gloriously put, not upon our memory, which is fickle and frail, but upon God's memory, which is infinite and immutable. "The bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant." Oh! it is not my remembering God, it is God's remembering me which is the ground of my safety; it is not my laying hold of his covenant, but his covenant's laying hold on me. Glory be to God! the whole of the bulwarks of salvation are secured by divine power, and even the minor towers, which we may imagine might have been left to man, are guarded by almighty strength. Even the remembrance of the covenant is not left to our memories, for we might forget, but our Lord cannot forget the saints whom he has graven on the palms of his hands. It is with us as with Israel in Egypt; the blood was upon the lintel and the two side-posts, but the Lord did not say, "When you see the blood I will pass over you," but "When I see the blood I will pass over you." My looking to Jesus brings me joy and peace, but it is God's looking to Jesus which secures my salvation and that of all his elect, since it is impossible for our God to look at Christ, our bleeding Surety, and then to be angry with us for sins already punished in him. No, it is not left with us even to be saved by remembering the covenant. There is no linsey-wolsey here--not a single thread of the creature mars the fabric. It is not of man, neither by man, but of the Lord alone. We should remember the covenant, and we shall do it, through divine grace; but the hinge of our safety does not hang there--it is God's remembering us, not our remembering him; and hence the covenant is an everlasting covenant.

I am a decent man and don't care for the abuse given me. I created a video raising awareness of anti police feeling among western communities. I chose the senseless killing of Nicola Cotton, a Louisiana policewoman who joined post Katrina, to highlight the issue. I did this in order to get an income after having been illegally blacklisted from work in NSW for being a whistleblower. I have not done anything wrong. Local council appointees refused to endorse my work, so I did it for free. Youtube's Adsence refused to allow me to profit from their marketing it. Meanwhile, I am hostage to abysmal political leadership and hopeless journalists. My shopfront has opened on Facebook.

I am publishing a book called Bread of Life: January.

Bread of Life is a daily bible quote with a layman's understanding of the meaning. I give one quote for each day, and also a series of personal stories illustrating key concepts eg Who is God? What is a miracle? Why is there tragedy?

January is the first of the anticipated year-long work of thirteen books. One for each month and the whole year. It costs to publish. It (Kindle version) should retail at about $2US online, but the paperback version would cost more, according to production cost.If you have a heart for giving, I fundraise at gofund.me/27tkwuc (Gofundme finished the fund raiser, 2017)

Editorials will appear in the "History in a Year by the Conservative Voice" series, starting with August, September, October, or at Amazon http://www.amazon.com/dp/1482020262/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_dVHPub0MQKDZ4 The kindle version is cheaper, but the soft back version allows a free kindle version.
