Editorial Clinton Governor, then President when abuse of power occurred
A man guilty of holding up a taco store in 1981 with a water pistol has served 40 years for the crime. He had never pointed the toy at the cashier when stealing $264 and the victim of the crime has tearfully called for the sentence to be ended. The criminal has reformed, later becoming a whistleblower saving thousands of lives over a blood handling scandal. So what are the circumstances for the abuse of power? One person connects all the dots, given the circumstances.
A decades long sentence for an equivalent hold up is too rare to be recorded. Arkansas was reputed to have abuse of power with sentences from the time of Democrat ascendancy following the Civil War. Prisoners have been used for their labour, possibly until 1994 according to regulations spoken of by Robert Barnes. After Rolf Kaestel was sentenced for his crime, he became a model prisoner, and flagged a blood transfer abuse from exploited prisoners, with tainted blood poisoning people for profit world wide. Following his whistleblowing (in 1999), Kaestal was transferred to Utah for no reason. President Clinton had been governor when the original inappropriate sentence occurred, and was President when Kaestel was transferred. GOP Arkansas governor Ava Hutchinson has commuted the sentence. Previous Dem Governor Mike Beebe had denied parole suggested by his parole board in 2015.
AGW hysteria is not a good guide for government. Victoria is currently paying a very high price for electricity, and current plans for increased renewables threaten to make it worse, more expensive and less reliable. Renewables are bad for the environment, killing wildlife and some of the poorest workers in the world. Battery back up is an expensive solution.
According to the IPA in 2019, 20 years of AGW inspired 'clean energy' policy has shown an increase of price of 220% over 20 years. Inflation Australia wide over that period was 58%. During that time, cheap coal production was replaced with expensive wind farms. Those wind farms have costs of production which exceed power supply over their lifetime, so that there never will be efficiency value until the production type changes. Further, the wind mill blades are bad for the environment, killing wildlife in numbers that would cost an oil company $billions in fines were they to do it. Brown coal is bad for the environment. So are windmills. Solar panels cost the environment too, with miners dying as a result of the methods of extraction of raw materials. Further, recycling of used solar panels and windmills is not yet feasible. With a 20 year lifespan of a windmill, Victoria's modest production rate of 25% renewable in 2020 will largely have to be replaced before more can be installed to meet more ambitious future targets. But that means further brown outs off the type experienced in South Australia in 2016.
Batteries are ineffective, and big batteries are also expensive. Elon Musk's SA battery put in place following the 2016 disaster would not prevent a similar disaster if it gets too warm, or too cold again. At an estimated cost off $50 million, the battery is more costly than diesel fuel generators used by farmers as back up. Further, batteries will only add to the cost of electricity production. The AGW hysteric promises cheap, reliable alternative energy. That does not yet exist. However, the cost of higher electricity has meant industry has had to move from Victoria to places where it can be more cheaply sourced, probably by coal powered power stations. If a child was to list these arguments in an assignment for school in Victoria, they would be marked down faster than FB fact checking an ANTIFA riot report.
Editorial Cardinal Pell abuser indicted for financial corruption
An abuse of power had resulted in an innocent man, Cardinal Pell, being jailed in Victoria. While part of the abuse of power was related to a corrupt judiciary and corrupt media, part of the process was compromised by Vatican leaks. Pell had been capably going through Vatican fiscal irregularities dating back before Pope John Paul I who had died after vowing to clear it up. Now it looks like Pell's work is bearing fruit.
Cardinal Angelo Becciu had been a senior official in Vatican fiscal administration. Along with two other senior members of the Vatican's financial intelligence unit, Becciu will go on trial on July 27th over a multi million Euro scandal involving a London building in a very expensive district. But what of the leaks which had helped jail the innocent Cardinal Pell?

Gabrielle Williams was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to Carers and Volunteers. Consider what that means as Dan Andrews ALP Government has neutered the CFA (Country Fire Association) volunteer organisation. CFA are rural firefighters who have a much larger job than city ones, but for manpower availability, have to be volunteer. Because of that, CFA had not been unionised. There are 60,000 CFA volunteers and 932 paid members in their workforce. The UFU (United Firefighters Union) are major backers of Dan Andrews. In Victoria, money can be paid tax free to the UFU and can flow directly to ALP. There is no similar analog for Liberals because it is deemed corrupt. Numerous volunteers have left CFA as a result of Dan Andrews 'reforms' which mean CFA can't attend fires without having a paid UFU member present. It is a recipe for disaster which threaten a life loss event similar to Black Saturday 2009.
Meanwhile, at Centrelink, I was advised to sign up as a volunteer. I did. I was told, then, I was too young to volunteer and meet Centrelink requirements. I had volunteered for schools and was ignored, but I was accepted by the Liberal Party before Centrelink told me of the age exception. I volunteered for eight months for the Liberal Party before I had to stop because of work commitments. My service will never be recognised by Williams, why should she? The CFA dispute directly impinges on Dandenong as the weakening of Rural Victoria and the loss of money through waste denies all of Victoria basic needs.
As part of the November 24th Vic election campaign I have a petition I want to bring before the Opposition Leader Matthew Guy. I believe Matthew will be the next premier of Victoria and so I am petitioning him as I raise the issues of Employment, Crime and Education in Dandenong. I am also seeking money for my campaign. I don't have party resources, and so my campaign is on foot, and on the internet. Any money I receive that is not spent on the campaign will go to Grow 4 Life. I am asking questions like "What do you love about Dandenong?" and "If you could change something in Dandenong to make it better, what would it be?" I'm not limiting the questions to state issues. I'm happy to discuss anything, and get things done.

I can't seem to comment on this post, in answer to Delia Dollah Why on earth has gender been brought into this? I found this article interesting and the complaint would have had some substance until the gender card was pulled out. You then you lost all credibility!
Gender discrimination is well documented against boys. I'm not quoting the Red Pill here, but point to over forty years of research showing increase of marks by females in school finishing tests and university results. In the late '90's, it was shown that the difference was relative to the new text based question types favoured by examiners to get better results for girls. However, on the same style of questions as were asked in the '70s and earlier (numerical response, true false etc) boys did no worse, girls no better than before. But then even that began to change. Beating up boys so consistently over time changes results for them.
But, on the other hand, I've seen a picture and looked at the work of the lecturer, who is a Stalinist. And I'm not revealing them or my friend, for obvious reasons.

Some things should not happen, but they do. A friend of mine doing tertiary study asked for me to look over their philosophy assignment. I did and thought it was good, original challenging and engaging. Problem is he is male and the lecturer is not. The lecturer marked the assignment and noted it was original and challenging and engaging, but only gave the student a low pass. The criticism that the lecturer gave was that the language was affected and one item appeared to contradict the thesis. My friend's essay was worthy of an HD. He did not contradict his thesis, but noted an inconsistency with it. Something he was supposed to do in discussion. The university is a prestigious one in Australia. And it highlights an appalling lack of standards. One guesses had my friend been female then the lecturer would have made an effort to understand what was written. It is theoretically possible for my friend to appeal, but they are too busy. They aren't going to make an academic career. They have learned valuable lessons. They just want to pass. How awful are Australian Universities at this time? There is a culture war that conservatives have not engaged in. Libertarians are doing a much better job.

The truth is that laws promote lawbreaking, while only freedom allows important discovery. The discovery that some 70,000 dogs were killed over the last dozen years, and the greyhound racing industry irredeemably compromised has led NSW Premier Blair to close the industry. They shouldn't be allowed to profit. But, selfish and vain politicians refuse to amend or remove 18c of the racial vilification act. Apparently, we shouldn't be allowed to speak? Remember, there were laws against animal cruelty. There are also laws against racial vilification. But apparently it is ok for a radical Islamist to call for the murder of all gays, but wrong for a Jew to defend themselves.

Former Australian PM Malcolm Fraser has invoked the name of Hitler in describing the new government's successful immigration program and border protection. New parliamentarian and former rich man Clive Palmer has called Queensland Premier Campbell Newman a Nazi. The denunciations are hyperbolic. It is a good thing that people are not drowning trying to start a new life in Australia. Australia is a good place for a new life, but one doesn't want to die coming here, or be exploited by pirates. Fraser had few problems drowning Vietnamese peoples or leaving Zimbabwe peoples at the mercy of a murderous dictator. Palmer is the former campaign manager of Joh Bjelke Peterson .. it is not the case he means what he says all the time, or any time. So what is behind their criticism? Those who are hard core ALP or Green supporters like the sound of the waffle.
A lot of violence is related to bikies, drugs and organised crime. So it is sadly depressing when a casual murder takes place in a popular shopping mall during the school holidays and it has nothing to do with anything, but a likely dispute over a woman between rivals. Herodotus was dismissive of the Greeks sailing ten thousand ships to regain Helen of Troy. Instead of fighting their rivals, they should be trying to impress the girl. I doubt she is impressed at what happened, the two argued over a cosmetics counter and one stabbed the other multiple times in the chest, and left the knife in the chest of his dying rival, lit a cigarette and waited for police. A chilling and casual murder which can not be tolerated, but must accrue a life term in jail, there being no excuse or alternative. The imaginary Sherlock finding Moriarty excuse not meeting a modern legal standard.

Divine love is rendered conspicuous when it shines in the midst of judgments. Fair is that lone star which smiles through the rifts of the thunder clouds; bright is the oasis which blooms in the wilderness of sand; so fair and so bright is love in the midst of wrath. When the Israelites provoked the Most High by their continued idolatry, he punished them by withholding both dew and rain, so that their land was visited by a sore famine; but while he did this, he took care that his own chosen ones should be secure. Have you ever really weighed and considered how great the sin of God's people is? Think how heinous is your own transgression, and you will find that not only does a sin here and there tower up like an alp, but that your iniquities are heaped upon each other, as in the old fable of the giants who piled Pelion upon Ossa, mountain upon mountain. What an aggregate of sin there is in the life of one of the most sanctified of God's children! Attempt to multiply this, the sin of one only, by the multitude of the redeemed, "a number which no man can number," and you will have some conception of the great mass of the guilt of the people for whom Jesus shed his blood. But we arrive at a more adequate idea of the magnitude of sin by the greatness of the remedy provided. It is the blood of Jesus Christ, God's only and well-beloved Son. God's Son! Angels cast their crowns before him! All the choral symphonies of heaven surround his glorious throne. "God over all, blessed forever. Amen." And yet he takes upon himself the form of a servant, and is scourged and pierced, bruised and torn, and at last slain; since nothing but the blood of the incarnate Son of God could make atonement for our offences. No human mind can adequately estimate the infinite value of the divine sacrifice, for great as is the sin of God's people, the atonement which takes it away is immeasurably greater. Therefore, the believer, even when sin rolls like a black flood, and the remembrance of the past is bitter, can yet stand before the blazing throne of the great and holy God, and cry, "Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died; yea rather, that hath risen again." While the recollection of his sin fills him with shame and sorrow, he at the same time makes it a foil to show the brightness of mercy--guilt is the dark night in which the fair star of divine love shines with serene splendour.

I did this in order to get an income after having been illegally blacklisted from work in NSW for being a whistleblower. I have not done anything wrong. Local council appointees refused to endorse my work, so I did it for free. Youtube's Adsence refused to allow me to profit from their marketing it. Meanwhile, I am hostage to abysmal political leadership and hopeless journalists. My shopfront has opened on Facebook.

I am publishing a book called Bread of Life: January.
Bread of Life is a daily bible quote with a layman's understanding of the meaning. I give one quote for each day, and also a series of personal stories illustrating key concepts eg Who is God? What is a miracle? Why is there tragedy?
January is the first of the anticipated year-long work of thirteen books. One for each month and the whole year. It costs to publish.
