Editorial Press corruption fuels corruption

A simple question by President Trump is "Why is Fox employing Chris Wallace?" But, as with most answers to Trump questions, the issues are salient, poignant and many. Chris Wallace is an incompetent journalist but a powerful left wing spokesperson. Whenever the Democrats are on the public nose, Wallace speaks for them. Wallace is partisan Democrat. Wallace is wrong on every issue he speaks on. He was wrong about COVID origins, he was wrong about election fraud and he is wrong about racism in today's America.

In Victoria, Australia, a question is being asked about Dan Andrews accident that threatened his life and laid him up for over 90 days. Andrews is not answering questions about it. We know that Andrews lies and claims to forget when it is convenient. The story is Andrews slipped on steps and broke his back. A question is why did the police or emergency not cater to the critically ill Premier of Victoria, instead he was privately transported to emergency. Was it a simple miss step, or was Andrews toxically drunk or on drugs? Was emergency service declined so Dan could sober up before treatment? It is not a new issue for the ALP, a former drunk driving attorney general for the ALP in NSW once left a hospital with his blood samples so he couldn't be charged for driving into stationary, parked cars. He later died drunk. A sniggering partisan press helped the public accept the corruption.

The press, meanwhile attack decent people, like highly decorated soldier Be Robert Smith. May Smith get a huge payout for their libel. However, as the press fail the public with misinformation, truly terrible people are killing innocent people.

Michael Oren to Newsmax: 'It's Always Premature to Eulogize Benjamin Netanyahu Politically'
https://www.newsmax.com/newsmax-tv/michael-oren-newsmax-israel-netanyahu/2021/06/04/id/1023947/?oRef=mixi

Former Israeli Ambassador to the United States Michael Oren told Newsmax on Friday that "it’s always premature to eulogize" the political career of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whose opponents appear set to oust him from his post.

Oren told "John Bachman Now" that "one thing I've learned in Israeli politics over the years is that it's always premature to eulogize Benjamin Netanyahu politically. Every time I think that he's down and done for, he comes back and there are significant issues that remain to be settled before the anti-Bibi coalition can come into power, not least of it is the extent to which Israel will recognize illegal Arab cities in the negative desert. That's one of the conditions for the Arab party, Ra’am, to join the coalition. Very, very serious precedent for Israel, generally… other than that, it appears that this coalition, and it's a very eclectic one indeed, with far-right parties, far-left parties and yes, an Islamic fundamentalist party making a coalition, one of the most diverse parties we've ever seen. And the first time we're going to have an Arab minister in the Israeli government."

When asked about comments made recently by Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., who has been a vocal critic of Netanyahu’s, Oren said that "I can say with with a very high level of certainty that the feelings that Bernie Sanders has towards Benjamin Netanyahu are entirely reciprocated."

He added, "I think that Netanyahu, should he depart the political scene this week, will leave behind an extraordinary legacy. He transformed Israel when he came into office. Israel was sort of a backwater, was a lower, middle, class, largely agricultural economy. Today, it is a thriving, innovative economy. One of the world's leaders in technology, a strong country, some has been listed as the eighth most powerful country in the world. Much of that has to do with the legacy of Netanyahu."

What racists say ..
Via EC of PWC
The COVID-19 Racism Incident Report, collated by Asian Australian Alliance and research fellow Osmond Chiu, found that 37 per cent of survey responders experienced racism on a public street, sidewalk, or the supermarket since April last year. 90% of these go under reported.

It is not surprising that 90% don't speak up - many of these are probably microaggressions which is harder to call out and often gets dismissed because there was "no malice" or "intent".

How can we take action?

Here is a video I made The Destruction of Sennacherib

George Gordon Byron, 6th Baron Byron, later George Gordon Noel, 6th Baron Byron, FRS (22 January 1788 -- 19 April 1824), commonly known simply as Lord Byron, was an English poet and a leading figure in Romanticism. Amongst Byron's best-known works are the brief poems She Walks in Beauty, When We Two Parted, and So, we'll go no more a roving, in addition to the narrative poems Childe Harold's Pilgrimage and Don Juan. He is regarded as one of the greatest British poets and remains widely read and influential.

The Assyrian came down like the wolf on the fold,
And his cohorts were gleaming in purple and gold;
And the sheen of their spears was like stars on the sea,
When the blue wave rolls nightly on deep Galilee.

   Like the leaves of the forest when Summer is green,
That host with their banners at sunset were seen:
Like the leaves of the forest when Autumn hath blown,
That host on the morrow lay withered and strown.

   For the Angel of Death spread his wings on the blast,
And breathed in the face of the foe as he passed;
And the eyes of the sleepers waxed deadly and chill,
And their hearts but once heaved, and for ever grew still!

   And there lay the steed with his nostril all wide,
But through it there rolled not the breath of his pride;
And the foam of his gasping lay white on the turf,
And cold as the spray of the rock-beating surf.

   And there lay the rider distorted and pale,
With the dew on his brow, and the rust on his mail:
And the tents were all silent, the banners alone,
The lances unlifted, the trumpet unblown.

   And the widows of Ashur are loud in their wail,
And the idols are broke in the temple of Baal;
And the might of the Gentile, unsmote by the sword,
Hath melted like snow in the glance of the Lord!

Don't give up on hope. Bill Clinton regrets not ending NK nuclear missile program. Does he also regret Rwanda massacres, taking CIA out of Middle East, starting second intifada, bombing Yugoslavia and giving Orthodox Christian Kosovo to Muslim Albanians?

BOM walk out for not being paid enough to get the weather wrong. Expect their AGW activism to continue. Expect the next three weeks to be winter like, without unseasonal heat.

ANU Western Civilisation debacle continues. Malcolm Turnbull is thinking about asking the Vice Chancellor of ANU why ANU doesn't want a course on Western Civilisation paid for by the estate of Alan Ramsay. Luke Kinsella, who used to go to ANU, writes "
Almost immediately after talks with the Ramsay Centre began, students and academics feared the program would become a magnet for Liberal Party supporters wanting to confirm their pre-existing beliefs about the superiority of Western civilisation." Or to paraphrase, ANU is happy to be a magnet which repels conservatives. Turnbull wants to be involved because Abbott has already written on the matter. Sydney University newspaper Honi Soit (which published some poems I made in '86), reached a new low by publishing a picture of a terrorist female and lauding her for killing civilians.

G7 begins soon, and weak leaders will try to do nothing but prop up their image. Germany's FM Maas is upset Trump has not accepted awful deals in the past. Morning Jo co-host Brzezinski claimed she had been told Trump was sad he could not watch porn in the White House. The comment says lots about Brzezinski and her watchers.

Some things should not happen, but they do. They call themselves AntiFa, short for anti-fascists but they don't do that, but work as Leon Trotsky wanted them to, by providing muscle to working class activism. Anti fascists were apparent during WW2 fighting Germany and Italy. Trotsky had said "[F]ighting squads must be created ... nothing increases the insolence of the fascists so much as 'flabby pacifism' on the part of the workers' organisations ... [It is] political cowardice [to deny that] without organised combat detachments, the most heroic masses will be smashed bit by bit by fascist gangs." Note, Trotsky's dying words were reputedly in admiration of Stalin who had murdered him. And such effort is laudable against fascists, but it undermines functioning, productive democracy. Andrew Bolt is not a fascist, neither is he particularly right wing. Andrew Bolt has questioned the voracity of AGW hysterics and questioned ridiculous excesses of the culture wars, but Bolt has no government influence and poses no threat to anyone he debates.

AntiFa are claiming a recent attack on Bolt in a Melbourne. Bolt had been supposed to go to a Lygon street event and talk. But just as with his failed book launch last year, he was prevented from it. Last year, security warned him off. This time, he was going to show up when a camera man and two antifa thugs sprayed him with glitter and shaving cream and ended up brawling. Had it been a spray and run, they might never have faced justice. But now their faces are known and soon all will have to defend themselves in court. However, a security issue has been flagged. What if it weren't a spray and run, but an assassination? It would not have been initiated differently. Those identifying themselves as AntiFa should be placed on a terrorist watchlist. Not to undemocratically restrict them, but to prevent them from restricting democratic process.

In the US, the swamp is still active. Comey is part of it. The former FBI chief was fired by Trump and then decided to claim that Trump had pressured him to drop a court case. Or that is what fake news sources working for the swamp allege. In fact, Comey claims he felt pressured after Trump asked him for loyalty. Trump asking employees to be loyal, and the employee thinking that must mean he must be demanding corrupt activity. Comey had not told the world Trump was not under investigation. Comey did tell the world Hillary was not under investigation. To be fair, Hillary Clnton is more of a friend to Comey than the employer Trump. There were awkward silences with Trump, during Comey's romantic dinner when Trump brazenly asked for loyalty. How will nameless fake news sources spin that? Comey was not incompetent if he was corrupt.

There is no public explanation as to why top policepersons involved with the Lindt siege have not testified before the inquest into the siege. One posited explanation is that the processes involved in defending the public must not be exposed to terrorists. Another explanation is that the senior ranks messed up and don't want to be held accountable. It is apparent from the 1100 testimonies that have been gathered or offered that important communication equipment was not available. Also, it is apparent that people in important positions were not told of important information in a timely fashion. Also, a senior policeman who could have made a valuable contribution was not used. Also, there is no evidence the police stamped an agenda allowing a better resolution. Police have been highly lauded for what resulted in the deaths of two innocent peoples. Maybe they need to explain themselves. Maybe they can do it without giving away state secrets.

For some, at the moment, the Sex Party has more credibility.

It is the Queen's Birthday holiday, only she wasn't born on her birthday. Few people are in a given year. Being 48 years old, I was born on my birthday 48 years ago, not this year, last year or the year before. But the Queen's reason for not being born on her birthday this year is larger than that. Her birthday is on another date. This day was once the King's birthday. And before that Empire Day. It is not recognition of when the Queen was born, but when her majesty became part of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth of Great Britain in the glory of that domain. It does not reflect an event. God save the Queen.

ABC Host Jonathan Green likes to hunt animals and kill them for sport. Safely on horseback, Green is dressed up as an English country squire, he has hunting dogs which chase down foxes and, in packs, catch and tear foxes apart. Sometimes rabbits too. For breakfast, his eggs are, no doubt, ethically sourced. And then he relaxes and tweets his views. Green is not religious, but apparently responded when asked about the hunt, "Three gone to God."

Saudi Arabia is going to flog a blogger 1000 lashes and ten years in jail. His crime has been to be critical of the Saudi Religious police. They just want to kill him, under apostasy laws.

Laws that are not well directed and efficient can be silly and counterproductive. One wonders why they were ever needed, and what they achieved. On this day in 1984, homosexuality was declared legal in NSW. It seems an outrageous invasion of privacy that it had not been. Note, it wasn't declared mandatory, it is something consenting adults can do .. or thanks to ALP government regulations, consenting children. Still, gay children are unlikely to become teen moms so it becomes apparent the ALP have put some thought into their legislation. For NSW the age of consent is 16, but in enlightened ACT it can be 11 under certain circumstances. On this day in 1953, the US supreme court declared it illegal to refuse to serve black patrons in restaurants in Washington DC. It is difficult to understand the restraint behind the declaration. Apparently it is illegal to lynch bigots. What about outside DC, eh Supreme court? If someone won't serve black people, I don't wish that they profit.

On this day in 1949, George Orwell's 1984 was published, but also the FBI named Hellen Keller as being a communist. Keller can be forgiven her activism .. she was deaf and blind. Orwell had no excuse. Keller could not see or hear what communists were doing around the world. Orwell was excusing it.

George Pell was born on this day. I like him, he serves God. It is nice to devote ones self to organisation and order, but as the Vikings showed at Lindisfarne on this day in 793, order can be upset by the use of force. It had been the first of many Viking incursions on English soil. Interesting, according to legend, Rollo, brother to the raiding chief, was an ancestor of todays Queen of England. Roll was also sieging Paris in 885. Royal longevity.

In 1789, on this day, James Maddison presented what is now known as the Bill of Rights, allowing the Supreme Court to act in 1953. But five years later, Robespierre introduced to France the cult of the Supreme Being, a state approved religion. He had never read Marx, so the FBI would have classified him a socialist. But he was deaf and blind to reason.
Historical perspective on this day
In 68, the Roman Senate proclaimed Galba as emperor. Galba followed the suicide of Nero. He lasted seven months, and was first of the year of four emperors. He was followed by Otho, Vitellius and Vespasian. Vespasian's son was Titus, and Titus became emperor after Vespasian. Titus also sacked Jerusalem in 70. Titus would not have needed to, except the unsettled nature of the empire following four pathetic emperors. 218, Battle of Antioch: with the support of the Syrian legionsElagabalus defeated the forces of emperor Macrinus. Today's Old Testament reading: 2 Chronicles 28-29

Ahaz King of Judah
1 Ahaz was twenty years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years. Unlike David his father, he did not do what was right in the eyes of the LORD. 2 He followed the ways of the kings of Israel and also made idols for worshiping the Baals. 3 He burned sacrifices in the Valley of Ben Hinnom and sacrificed his children in the fire, engaging in the detestable practices of the nations the LORD had driven out before the Israelites. 4 He offered sacrifices and burned incense at the high places, on the hilltops and under every spreading tree....

Today's New Testament reading: John 17

Jesus Prays to Be Glorified
1 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed:
"Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. 3Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.4 I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. 5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began...."

Morning

"Ye that love the Lord hate evil."
Psalm 97:10
Thou hast good reason to "hate evil," for only consider what harm it has already wrought thee. Oh, what a world of mischief sin has brought into thy heart! Sin blinded thee so that thou couldst not see the beauty of the Saviour; it made thee deaf so that thou couldst not hear the Redeemer's tender invitations. Sin turned thy feet into the way of death, and poured poison into the very fountain of thy being; it tainted thy heart, and made it "deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked." Oh, what a creature thou wast when evil had done its utmost with thee, before divine grace interposed! Thou wast an heir of wrath even as others; thou didst "run with the multitude to do evil." Such were all of us; but Paul reminds us, "but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." We have good reason, indeed, for hating evil when we look back and trace its deadly workings. Such mischief did evil do us, that our souls would have been lost had not omnipotent love interfered to redeem us. Even now it is an active enemy, ever watching to do us hurt, and to drag us to perdition. Therefore "hate evil," O Christians, unless you desire trouble. If you would strew your path with thorns, and plant nettles in your death-pillow, then neglect to "hate evil:" but if you would live a happy life, and die a peaceful death, then walk in all the ways of holiness, hating evil, even unto the end. If you truly love your Saviour, and would honour him, then "hate evil." We know of no cure for the love of evil in a Christian like abundant intercourse with the Lord Jesus. Dwell much with him, and it is impossible for you to be at peace with sin.
"Order my footsteps by thy Word,
And make my heart sincere;
Let sin have no dominion, Lord,
But keep my conscience clear."

Evening

"Be zealous."
Revelation 3:19

If you would see souls converted, if you would hear the cry that "the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord;" if you would place crowns upon the head of the Saviour, and his throne lifted high, then be filled with zeal. For, under God, the way of the world's conversion must be by the zeal of the church. Every grace shall do exploits, but this shall be first; prudence, knowledge, patience, and courage will follow in their places, but zeal must lead the van. It is not the extent of your knowledge, though that is useful; it is not the extent of your talent, though that is not to be despised; it is your zeal that shall do great exploits. This zeal is the fruit of the Holy Spirit: it draws its vital force from the continued operations of the Holy Ghost in the soul. If our inner life dwindles, if our heart beats slowly before God, we shall not know zeal; but if all be strong and vigorous within, then we cannot but feel a loving anxiety to see the kingdom of Christ come, and his will done on earth, even as it is in heaven. A deep sense of gratitude will nourish Christian zeal. Looking to the hole of the pit whence we were digged, we find abundant reason why we should spend and be spent for God. And zeal is also stimulated by the thought of the eternal future. It looks with tearful eyes down to the flames of hell, and it cannot slumber: it looks up with anxious gaze to the glories of heaven, and it cannot but bestir itself. It feels that time is short compared with the work to be done, and therefore it devotes all that it has to the cause of its Lord. And it is ever strengthened by the remembrance of Christ's example. He was clothed with zeal as with a cloak. How swift the chariot-wheels of duty went with him! He knew no loitering by the way. Let us prove that we are his disciples by manifesting the same spirit of zeal.

I am a decent man and don't care for the abuse given me. I created a video raising awareness of anti police feeling among western communities. I chose the senseless killing of Nicola Cotton, a Louisiana policewoman who joined post Katrina, to highlight the issue. I did this in order to get an income after having been illegally blacklisted from work in NSW for being a whistleblower. I have not done anything wrong. Local council appointees refused to endorse my work, so I did it for free. Youtube's Adsence refused to allow me to profit from their marketing it. Meanwhile, I am hostage to abysmal political leadership and hopeless journalists. My shopfront has opened on Facebook.

I am publishing a book called Bread of Life: January.

Bread of Life is a daily bible quote with a layman's understanding of the meaning. I give one quote for each day, and also a series of personal stories illustrating key concepts eg Who is God? What is a miracle? Why is there tragedy?

January is the first of the anticipated year-long work of thirteen books. One for each month and the whole year. It costs to publish. It (Kindle version) should retail at about $2US online, but the paperback version would cost more, according to production cost.If you have a heart for giving, I fundraise at gofund.me/27tkwuc (Gofundme finished the fund raiser, 2017)
