It is ok to fail, but better to be successful. MyHeritage had DNA linked me to a US based cousin. We have separate trees without common ancestors, but Ball is prominent in each. MyHeritage used generic trees to link us, providing me with a map. A common ancestor, it turned out, was the Potomac Ball line which includes George Washington. I immediately set about disproving the link in the hopes I would be unsuccessful. But I succeeded!
My family 'Ball' line goes to Salford, Manchester in the mid 1800's. We believe the line originated in County Cork, Ireland. However, Potomac Ball line originates in Manchester circa 1600. I'm confident, if I can research that far, I'll find a Potomac Ball before their migration to the New World as tobacco farmers. My Salford line includes a James Ball in mid 1800's whose father I've not yet found. It may have been a George Ball. The Potomac line includes a mid 1800 George Ball. However the Potomac George Ball would have been 9 years old when his first son was conceived. Unlikely. More likely is that my DNA linked cousin could not find their match and searched the Potomac way as a possible compromise.
My search continues for family.

Malcolm Turnbull has a method of making things much worse. Turnbull's comments on the ball tampering scandal has helped ensure a disproportionate response from Australian Cricket. Two of three players singled out did the wrong thing with tampering with the ball. Two of three did the wrong thing in concealing it from authorities when it might have been dealt with better. But combined the three players have life long bans from captaincy roles, over three years bans from playing and over $five million lost in fines and lost employment. When elsewhere on other occasions players who are caught tampering with the ball may not be penalised at all. The result is a manifest injustice and one hopes the players will overturn the penalties and Sutherland and Turnbull are called to account. One is reminded when Obama remarked on the death of a thug that he might have been his son, and so authorities persecuted an innocent party.
Trump is very successful as President, and it is becoming increasingly apparent mainstream news sites in the US are afraid of that success. They want Trump to fail and are campaigning to initiate failure. And failing.

The company I work for is a good employer and I'm determined they will profit by association with me. And that has not yet happened. Recently an LNP young President of Queensland was booted from the Presidency after he posted on FB that he would have been a Nazi member in the thirties. His 'reasoning' had been that it was the thing ambitious people did. I'm ambitious, and conservative and I would have likely been killed standing up to Nazis, or I would have saved millions of people. And many good people died opposing Nazism. And many ambitious cowards followed orders. LNP moved quickly to separate themselves from him, and he has retracted his statement and admitted he was monstrously wrong. Stiffler is gone. It was a run around to get paperwork. At first we were looking for an order of intervention so as to keep Stiffler away from me and my home. However, because courts were closed for the long weekend there was a back log and it was impossible to get such an intervention before next Monday. Another option was the VCAT (Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal) which deals with disputes regarding Share houses and landlords. Before then, we had received reports from innocent share house mates that a lot of damage had been done. Stiffler had had a party in which he invited neighbours and cooked lots of meat without seeing if anyone would come. It was a work night, and he played music very loudly, preventing neighbours from sleeping, even though they had work the next day. Neighbours complained and Stiffler told them to F#ck off. Then, when the house share mates were at work, Stiffler knifed the walls and furniture, graffiti'd the house and egged lots of walls. He scratched the big screen tv and butted out cigarettes on chairs. He ripped apart cupboard doors. Photographs were shown to police. I made a victim impact statement regarding his repeated threats to kill me over several hours. At the time, the police had asked me why I was afraid after several hours of the repeated threats if he hadn't earlier. I pointed out I was not used to such abuse. SWAT were used to get Stiffler to the local police where he was charged and served with a notice. He left and returned to our home at 8pm to collect his car and drove off, although I understand he has not got a license. He arrived again at 10:35 PM demanding to be let in, but I maintained the locks and called emergency. He drove off less than a minute later when he saw me calling police.

33 In the synagogue there was a man possessed by a demon, an impure spirit. He cried out at the top of his voice, 34"Go away! What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are--the Holy One of God!"
35 "Be quiet!" Jesus said sternly. "Come out of him!" Then the demon threw the man down before them all and came out without injuring him.
36 All the people were amazed and said to each other, "What words these are! With authority and power he gives orders to impure spirits and they come out!" 37 And the news about him spread throughout the surrounding area....

Morning
The love of Christ in its sweetness, its fulness, its greatness, its faithfulness, passeth all human comprehension. Where shall language be found which shall describe his matchless, his unparalleled love towards the children of men? It is so vast and boundless that, as the swallow but skimmeth the water, and diveth not into its depths, so all descriptive words but touch the surface, while depths immeasurable lie beneath. Well might the poet say,
"O love, thou fathomless abyss!"
for this love of Christ is indeed measureless and fathomless; none can attain unto it. Before we can have any right idea of the love of Jesus, we must understand his previous glory in its height of majesty, and his incarnation upon the earth in all its depths of shame. But who can tell us the majesty of Christ? When he was enthroned in the highest heavens he was very God of very God; by him were the heavens made, and all the hosts thereof. His own almighty arm upheld the spheres; the praises of cherubim and seraphim perpetually surrounded him; the full chorus of the hallelujahs of the universe unceasingly flowed to the foot of his throne: he reigned supreme above all his creatures, God over all, blessed forever. Who can tell his height of glory then? And who, on the other hand, can tell how low he descended? To be a man was something, to be a man of sorrows was far more; to bleed, and die, and suffer, these were much for him who was the Son of God; but to suffer such unparalleled agony--to endure a death of shame and desertion by his Father, this is a depth of condescending love which the most inspired mind must utterly fail to fathom. Herein is love! and truly it is love that "passeth knowledge." O let this love fill our hearts with adoring gratitude, and lead us to practical manifestations of its power.

The merits of our great Redeemer are as sweet savour to the Most High. Whether we speak of the active or passive righteousness of Christ, there is an equal fragrance. There was a sweet savour in his active life by which he honoured the law of God, and made every precept to glitter like a precious jewel in the pure setting of his own person. Such, too, was his passive obedience, when he endured with unmurmuring submission, hunger and thirst, cold and nakedness, and at length sweat great drops of blood in Gethsemane, gave his back to the smiters, and his cheeks to them that plucked out the hair, and was fastened to the cruel wood, that he might suffer the wrath of God in our behalf. These two things are sweet before the Most High; and for the sake of his doing and his dying, his substitutionary sufferings and his vicarious obedience, the Lord our God accepts us. What a preciousness must there be in him to overcome our want of preciousness! What a sweet savour to put away our ill savour! What a cleansing power in his blood to take away sin such as ours! and what glory in his righteousness to make such unacceptable creatures to be accepted in the Beloved! Mark, believer, how sure and unchanging must be our acceptance, since it is in him! Take care that you never doubt your acceptance in Jesus. You cannot be accepted without Christ; but, when you have received his merit, you cannot be unaccepted. Notwithstanding all your doubts, and fears, and sins, Jehovah's gracious eye never looks upon you in anger; though he sees sin in you, in yourself, yet when he looks at you through Christ, he sees no sin. You are always accepted in Christ, are always blessed and dear to the Father's heart. Therefore lift up a song, and as you see the smoking incense of the merit of the Saviour coming up, this evening, before the sapphire throne, let the incense of your praise go up also.

I am a decent man and don't care for the abuse given me. I created a video raising awareness of anti police feeling among western communities. I chose the senseless killing of Nicola Cotton, a Louisiana policewoman who joined post Katrina, to highlight the issue. I did this in order to get an income after having been illegally blacklisted from work in NSW for being a whistleblower. I have not done anything wrong. Local council appointees refused to endorse my work, so I did it for free. Youtube's Adsence refused to allow me to profit from their marketing it. Bread of Life is a daily bible quote with a layman's understanding of the meaning. I give one quote for each day, and also a series of personal stories illustrating key concepts eg Who is God? What is a miracle? Why is there tragedy?
