US Campaign for Burma Screening of Burma Soldier

NEW YORK PREMIERE: BURMA SOLDIER at The Paley Center for Meida Followed by a Panel Discussion Join us for an exciting event happening this week in New York City. The Paley Center for Media and the U.S. Campaign for Burma are hosting a screening of the new award-winning HBO film "Burma Soldier." The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Myo Myint, the subject of the film. The screening is on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 6:30pm. "Burma Soldier" tells the harrowing and unforgettable saga of a former Burmese soldier who risks everything to become a pro-democracy activist. Through the courageous story of Myo Myint, we learn how the ruling army in Burma keeps its citizens living in terror, demolishing any sign of dissent.
