Nick Lalich Outrage continues

FAIRFIELD Mayor Nick Lalich says commercial privacy prevents him from saying why a landowner who gave a political donation to the ALP was offered an extra $430,000 in a property deal.

Earlier, Sydney's Conservative raised the issue of Lalich broaching privacy so as to gain access to land which had been bought privately. The purchaser had cobbled together a sum of money that was named by Lalich, but then Lalich began to name more figures, higher ones suggesting to the world that the private citizen had access to funds that may well be beyond them.
Now, when asked why he has done something that appears corrupt, Lalich claims he can't speak for privacy reasons.

As reported in the Advance,

A confidential Fairfield Council report obtained by the Fairfield Advance shows the owner of 61 Canley Vale Rd was offered property valued at $1.3 million in a proposed land swap, when his lot was only worth $875,000.

A number of councillors, including Cr Lalich, previously declared a political donation to the ALP by the owner of the property.

Fairfield Council pursued the land swap so the property at 61 Canley Vale Rd could be acquired to build a “link road” connecting Canley Vale Rd and Railway Pde.

As part of the deal the property owner was set to acquire part of Adams Reserve in Canley Vale.

The deal was not approved by the State Government and the property owner subsequently refused to sell.

Councillors voted to compulsorily acquire the property at the February 23 council meeting.

A number of councillors, including Cr Lalich, declared a conflict of interest and withdrew from voting.

Despite declaring a political donation, the confidential report also showed Cr Lalich met with the property owner in a last minute bid to come to an agreement on February 1, but no agreement was reached.

Cr Lalich confirmed the meeting took place, but would not answer any further questions on the matter.

The meeting was also attended by Smithfield State Labor MP Ninos Khoshaba, a former Fairfield councillor, who said he attended at the request of the property owner.

Nothing sinister should be read into what MP Ninos Khoshaba has done, but the electorate deserves an answer as to the behavior of Lalich

Lalich accuses Dai Le of taking Cabramatta for granted. Lalich who is paid twice for representing Fairfield people badly, using his office to leverage those in business from money, says that Dai Le's attempt to become part of the NSW Libs senate ticket meant she wasn't going to represent people of Cabramatta. Lalich seems to need to be told that Cabramatta is part of NSW and so had Dai Le been a member of the legislative council then she would have been representing those people. Also, these people are also those people who are paying Lalich twice to do his bad job. Lalich has disenfranchised voters who were not members of groups he liked (suspending party members from council chambers meetings) and removing political signage used for legitimate lobbying while allowing his own illegally placed signage to remain.
Dai Le is Cabaramatta loyal, and retains great popularity in the area, cutting across ties of ethnicity and cultural socioeconomic background by bringing together people of all walks of life, color or creed. Meanwhile, Lalich despises publicly Australia and her past and those who value her and those who are loyal to her and those who have sacrificed much to be with her.
