BACKGROUND
DON'T: The Rebirth Project
Dont was originally posted back on Feb. 27, 2007.
Three Months ago, I was browsing/listening to Ians material and I came across -> Don't from that moment, I heard other things in my head.
ARRANGEMENT & PRODUCTION
Project Timeline: June 23 - July 10
ORIGINALITY: Originally, Ian piece was composed with just Keys, drums and vocals hence, kept simplistic to focus on the emotions.
REBIRTH PURPOSE: This mix is intended to give it a little more drama & liveliness than the original production.
THE ADDITIONS: Pre-Intro Orchestration, Live Strings (viola & violin - by Chris) and bass guitar (by DLB, thanks mate!). * All other tracks are original (no retakes). * Only Loops = Intro Orchestration.
THE ELEMENTS: The live strings (Drama) & bass (Bottom-end) intentions are subtle. The drums & vocals are the key dynamics and the piano tracks are the melody makers.
Logistics: Original tracks provided by Ian.

Thank you Ian for this opportunity and a Technical challenge to boot!
